  1. Well you have finely done it, you broke the internet. I am using Firefox now and have no issues.
  2. Fired brass case, less than a penny. (Before annealing) 190 grain of lead, less than a nickel.(before casting) My time to learn, profect the skill, make the boolit it, priceless. Good to 50 yards from a rifle and pistol, that is the longest I have tried so far.
  3. 1st is a 40 S&W case and a cast HP boolit. 2nd is the 40 case and boolit that is pushed into the case. 3rd is the 40 case and boolit and nose formed from pushing the case and boolit into a die to swag the nose. 4th is the case and boolit swagged and the cannelure added, the black tool on the right does the job of adding the cannelure. 5th is the loaded round, 44mag.
  4. I have a few diff 44 molds, solid nose to hollow point, even swag a 40 S&W case to a 44 boolit. I use a fired 40 case, drop in a 190 gran 40 cal HP cast boolit.
  5. I was thinking the same till I saw the price. Can only get them in 45 caliber, I do not have a 45, just 50, 54 and 58. I do have pistols in 45 but I aint shooting a slug that heavy from them. http://www.arrowheadsporting.com/swinglock.html
  6. Now aint that something, I size to reload boolits all the time. Not for ML, I just cast with soft lead.
  7. Alleycat, does that bullet get pushed down the barrel and just how hard is it to load?
  8. Pure lead is what is needed in a ML, it allows you to push the boolit into the rifling. If the lead is hard you have to beat it into the barrel. Pure lead also allows you to shoot a smaller boolit so when the charge goes off the pressure will expand the skirt of the boolit to engage the rifling.
  9. Sounds like a a barrel issue, in the chamber. My money it will need a new barrel.
  10. Well it is in commiefornia, dont ya know.
  11. Yes you can, I have a double barrel 50 cal ML.
  12. I cast my buck shot so mine is cheap and I use the lead I get from the shells I dump out. Then I put the buck shot back and re crimp. Do the same for slug, and yes I cast them(slugs, Layman and Lee) as well. If you use any of this info use at your own risk.
  13. That is so funny Good shooting with an old war horse!
  14. Well why not put 2 on just for laughs, handle on each side.
  15. I under stand and do not see an issue, as it wont be a VFG. It will be parallel to the barrel mounted to the side of the hand guard. It gives you a place to put your fingers. Just my $0.02 it will look like crap, but to each their own.
  16. Doug, so sorry to hear this. As I post this I am thinking of my Tiny I lost a few months back, so sorry for your loss. You have my number please call if you need or want anything.
  17. Being I have not cut my hair in close to 7 years, think of all the money I have saved. I know some cut their hair at home and think it does not cost, but it does. Electric power is not free, nor your time or the time of the ones that do the cutting. So yes I have saved money. To answer the OP question, depends on how long, how good or how it looked as to a tip.
  18. I think we are in the wrong thread. I do not think you are allowed to do what you asked.
  19. My new loudencer, and yall think a silencer is cool.
  20. Well those are big, the bottom is what I have and gona get the bottom for a sling on mine.
  21. Look close at the butt stock, there are 2 holes that will allow a quick detach sling mount and you could put something on the rail where my forward grip is. Pics coming.
  22. Just where does a 800 pound gorilla sleep, any where he wants.
  23. prag Larger cap mags give a bit if a hassle, seems the spring is to strong and causes a jam with cast. FMJ seem to do ok, I do want to try a drum.
  24. https://www.tnwfirearms.com/product-p/asrx-cplt-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.htm I have the 40 S&W and the 9mm bolt face and barrel. To swap you change barrel and bolt face, barrel can be swapped in seconds, bolt face in less that 10 mins. I shoot 40 S&W, the rifle loves cast all day long. The front barrel piece is from a Arch Angle stock for a 10/22 and the rifle uses Glock mags, been wanting a snail drum for a bit. I did but it from a member here a few months ago. It shoots well and hits where I aim. You can even make it correct or right handed. Just flip the bolt face and flip the ejector over.
