I know, pics or it did not happen, all I had was my flip phone. So no pics. I was fishing yesterday afternoon at Vivrett boat ramp, no fishing luck. However I did watch something I had not seen in my 60 years. I was talking to a couple about the state of things. From behind me I heard a hawk squeal and squall, I look around and see a large black bird with a white head and tail chasing the smaller hawk. As the pair got closer I was able to see the big bird better. I have seen my first Bald Eagle live! The Eagle was after the smaller hawk for a good 90 seconds (a guess). The hawk could turn faster but the eagle was faster in a straight line. after a bit the hawk dropped what I am guessing was a fish into the lake. The eagle broke off the chase and went and picked up the fish and the hawk went to chasing the eagle. They went off in a direct line away from me and I lost them in the trees. A Bald Eagle in Mt Juliet TN, I guess we are doing things right with the environment and all. I had a great afternoon of not catching fish. I know about Bald Eagles out at Land Between the Lakes. To see one live here is something I had not seen in my 30 years of living in Mt Juliet or the 40 years of living in middle TN. Or my whole life.

Take your age, divide by .005, times pie( 3.14159 ), add 1000, minus 1, times your age to the 10th power = enough. If you think that is not enough change .005 to .00005 and you age to the 15th power.

Lead Vapor is the bad stuff. Unless you get lead very hot it wont turn to vapor when casting. Older primers used lead in them, newer primers do not have lead and shorter shelf life. So yes, range shooting, well indoor range shooting can be an issue.

Fox News Increasingly, few if any genuinely safe places exist as a refuge from armed, angry, addicted young men pumped up on violent video games and suffering from the absence of a moral core. Schools, churches, shopping centers, businesses, and almost every place people gather have become targets for deranged individuals who are set on perpetrating evil and in possession of lethal weapons. At what point will we have the courage to acknowledge that our nation has a problem? As a former police officer, this perspective on gun violence is not an academic approach. I’ve encountered armed suspects and dealt with gun-related violence. Restricting the implements of violence while ignoring the causes is futile. Our nation's capital, with some of the most restrictive gun-ownership laws in the country, clearly illustrates this point. Washington has a gun murder rate of 18 per 100,000, and the city's gun-control laws did not protect our organization. Nationwide, as many as 80 percent of gun-related crime involves illegal guns. The best part of the story. John Adams, the second president of the United States, recognized the limitations of our laws. In speaking to the Massachusetts militia, Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Some will be quick to say that nearly 250 years later, America has moved beyond the faith that inspired nation builders. That is a tragedy. Today our culture increasingly marginalizes public faith and religion, pushing it from the public square. But in the process, we've lost public morality, common decency and virtue, which are essential to freedom. To achieve security for our families and communities while preserving the freedom that has made America great, we have only one option: Restore morality by renewing our commitment to the free exercise of religion. In other words, we should protect, not prevent, religious freedom. Link to the story https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tony-perkins-solution-gun-violence-not-what-you-think-former-police-officer

The "keeping a cooler cold" is about what kind of insulation and how much insulation there is. One of mt coworkers took a cheap white foam coolers you get at the corner market, a can of spray form in a can. Made a mold from cardboard, with the can of foam added 4 to 6" of insulation to the bottom, sides and top of the cooler. His name is Ron, he called his cooler the "Ronyetty" cooler. The thing worked great, it would keep ice in the sun for all day. Cost was less than 15 dollars. Another factor is getting the water from melting ice out as water left in would cause the ice to melt faster. Keep the lid shut and no air leaks are a plus, kids will get into a cooler every 5 mins and leave the lid open, there goes the cold air out and warm air in. Now if we could buy a double wall vacuum insulated cooler like the drink mugs and cups we have then you would have the best insulation money can buy, but alas one is not made, yet. Long story is buy what you can afford, freeze bottles of water for the cooling and then for drinking when they melt, cause the ice will melt.

Found this https://www.hunker.com/13400811/how-to-calculate-floor-load-capacity The dead load on a floor is determined by the materials used in the floor's construction. A typical wood-frame floor covered with carpet or vinyl flooring has a dead load of about 8 pounds per square foot; if there's wall-board covered ceiling suspended from the underside of that floor, the dead load increases to about 10 pounds per square foot. Heavier flooring materials increase the dead load even more. Building Codes and Limits Local building codes specify the minimum live load that floors must be able to bear. The International Residential Code, on which most local building codes are based, requires that floors in non-sleeping rooms must support a minimum live load of 40 pounds per square foot, and floors in sleeping rooms must be able to handle a live load of 30 pounds per square foot.

Quoted from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch-22 "There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he were sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to, but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle. " So with the shootings over the past few days, the talk in another thread about "mental illness" , does "Catch 22" apply? Is a person crazy if that person wants to murder another person? There is a defense of "Temporary Insanity". "Catch 22" is a favorite move of mine.
