youd think the ammo companies would cash in on the demand.  empty shelves arent helping anyone.

i would trust a daughter over a son when it comes to guns in the home.   girls tend to not want to touch a gun unless they have to. boys  love things like guns and want to hold and see them a lot when ever they can.    i would trust a 13 year old girl knowing where my gun was over a 17 year old boy.     put hidden cameras in your home and see who really plays with the guns

i was at walmart this morning, they had 0  boxes of any kind of 9mm ammo.   all the spots were empty.   it wont get back to normal til Feb. 

They are working on a new gun safe that only opens when it detects fear. So your family will only have access when needed. J/k i guess if you are still second thinking your decision you shouldnt do it yet. Knives, bats , stun guns and pepper spray are still effictive.

Thinking about buying me and my daughter a couple of them to give us something to do together outside. the playground is getting boring.   I figured we can shoot targets and cans in the back yard.  it might even get her into guns.          Just wondering if any of you know what a good one is. the electric machine guns look cool , but a bit over kill. 

I dont shop during prime time hours.    i uaually like to shop early weekend mornings when most people are still at home.   by 9am   im back at home letting the rest of the world do their thing.    then around 11pm at night i might go back out if i need something.      i avoid crowds and traffic when ever possible.

i bet the people against guns would call the people who have guns if they were being robbed.

just watched the presser.  NRA wants better school security, thats what i was saying the day of the shooting.  forget trying to control what the next bad guy will bring with him.   you have to control the security of the kids.   bad guys in prison are protected better than our children.    movie stars are protected better than our schools.      i would gladly pay 10 a month to me daughters school for a couple of officers to defend the building and kids.  if every parent donated 10 bucks a month to the school that would pay for security.    my child is worth 10 a month.   sad thing is i have no option to pay for her security.

So how does this work? Are the police going to tell us what was really used or keep it secret?

Nasa sounds smart to all of us cause we know no better,  but imo humans havent got a clue as to what the universe really is or what its doing on a grand scale.     i just think its beyond our capability to decode.     everything we think we know couldnt be further from the truth.  not sure why we even try to understand.  all we can do is create things we want out of materials we have on earth.

i got a feeling some morons will go on shooting sprees tomo just to try and cause drama.

I bought some ammo but only cause im going to the range soon. I had no knee jerk reactions due to the school shootings. As long as they dont bann handguns or shotguns im cool.

Someone recomended a driveway alarm. Im gonna get 2 of them and have them set up to detect movement starting about 12 feet from my porches. I should be able to open the door before they knock. I have a lound stun gun..... would there be any legal problems scaring them with it?

my work doesnt allow weapons inside the gates, which we park inside the gates.   i talked to my HR guy and he said  they wouldnt know if I had a gun in my car and he told me to  stop talking about it.    so i said , will do.

The only people i know that dont like guns are either afraid to shoot them or they arent allowed to have them. Other than that most say they would buy one if they had the spare money. Many people dont mess with it cause background checks and shopping for the right gun ,then finding a range turns them off from the start. After explaining to a few people what to do they went and bought guns.

First time i went i took 200 rounds and it went fast. Im trying to improve my shooting ,how many rounds do you guys use at each visit. Ammo isnt cheap should i just stock up and take about 400 rounds?

wouldnt this change their job title and could force schools to pay them more? 

i know how you feel.   i stopped watching the news on it.  i seen enough and know how tragic it is. now im trying to block the details out of my mind.   im not debating the gun laws cause that wont bring anyone back.

they said someone called the crurch where everyone was gathered today and told them he was going to finish the job.police had to come and clear the building.  sicko wanting attention.
