I know of a few people that have issues with falcons coated bullets using kkm. They will work great in a factory barrel but from time to time for whatever reason a few out of the batch won't go in to battery using the kkm barrel. Dropping your oal could fix the issue though.

Classifiers are really great practice for a new as well as seasoned shooter. It will familiarise a new shooter with reacting to the buzzer,as well as drawing from the holster. If I'm not mistaken there are 13 draws during the classifier. Every aspect of idpa is covered during the classifier other than moving targets and shooting from concealment. A shooter will be tested with having to make head shots as well as shooting around a barricade at distance utilizing proper cover and tac reloads. It is a great way to get your feet wet.

Little late to the party but Oak Ridge Sportsmans Association will be holding a 7 stage idpa match this Saturday. If you're on that side of the state come out abd have some fun with us. Great group of shooters and a good mix of stages everyone can enjoy.

Was thinking of going then decided I wasn't interested in going back to Tulsa. Maybe if they have the next one some place more interesting I might consider it....cough cough world shoot Puerto Rico...

  Just FYI there is a club in Oak Ridge TN that has a IDPA match every 1st Saturday, and I believe Cleveland has one every 3rd Saturday.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how this bullet performs. The coating they use is completely different than anything that's on the market today.

With rail is illegal for idpa according to what was said earlier. Although I could always lighten the frame in some strategic locations

Ahh ok thats what it is then. I found one in 9mm that I was considering picking up but did a little research on them to make sure I could use it.

Just kinda curious if this gun is idpa legal or not? They all show a weight of 44oz which puts then 1oz over weight but I know some who use one.
