  1. Thats normal, the sear spring keeps tension on the disconnector to push it up into the pocket of the slide. That's what prevents it from firing out of battery, so hand cycling you will feel a slight drag. if you want to smooth that up a bit you can always polish the slide boss that it slides on as well as the contacting face of the disconnector. It's not going to help anything function differently, but could take away some of the felt drag. My personal recommendation is to leave it alone and shoot it.
  2. It really doesnt matter. Just take your time and check the fit often.
  3. Yeah you absolutely filed your sight at an angle. There is a chance that your sight will end up breaking, depending on how much you shoot, but it probably won't. for future reference next time don't use a file. Use some sandpaper on a flat surface and work the sight applying pressure straight down from the top.
  4. 10am start time is later than most other clubs start. Al, that will be USPSA weekend once its up and going. Hopefully in a few months but nothing for sure yet.
  5. Hey everyone, just wanted to inform you if you haven't already heard that Brent Sizemore and I have taken over the role of MD for Dead Zero IDPA starting this month. I want to thank the guys at Dead Zero Shooting Park for trusting us to run the club, and we are going to do our best to make sure every match is unique, fun, and challenging. So I hope to see everyone out there on Saturday May 12th. Registration is up on Practiscore.

  7. As I hear it no there will be no sanctioned IDPA match at ORSA. But I haven't confirmed this personally yet.
