Since I couldn't tell if you were being facetious or not, I decided to stop being so lazy and look it up myself. I found a lot of references to some proposed gun bills, and a lot of "the sky is falling" type remarks on the tinfoil hat type sites that I never read. Looks like whatever was being proposed has been weakened or abandoned now ...

Especially when they send them off with a flintlock ...

If I've ever bought anything but full sized pistols (or revolvers) I don't remember it. I did wind up with an old Iver Johnson .22 revolver that belonged to my dad, which incidentally I didn't know he owned until I found it while going through his closets after his passing ...

This was my first thought too. I grew up about 30 miles from there, in those days the paper mills had some huge operations in Henderson, Hardin and McNairy counties. I've been away from there for many years so I'm not sure how much of that is still going on, but it makes sense that this is a defunct tree-farming operation ...

Unless you're dealing in highly collectible firearms, it's strictly a buyers market now. Price your gun accordingly, and it will sell. If you're a buyer, this is a really good time to pick up what you want, as long as you don't put artificial restrictions on yourself. like limiting your market to local sellers and non-internet purchases ...

I don't know anything about patent laws as regards to infringement issues, but after watching a couple of videos on field stripping and takedown of this gun, it's pretty much a dead ringer for a 10/22 ...

A 220 breaker is just a double pole breaker, so yes you can replace the 20A 110's with a 220, providing the same brand is used as dralarms pointed out already.

I doubt that any bank reluctant to provide financing to Colt is refusing due to outside influence - Colt's owners have a long history of raiding equity from the company and hanging investors and financiers out to dry in the process. Why would any thinking company or individual want to throw any more good money after bad into Colt ...
