Ok I've got my uncles Field. 400 yds should be easy, may be farther, Ill try to range it this weekend, and see what kinda shooting lanes I can setup. Its an open field, so we will need target stands and free standing targets. I will be meeting people at the Food City in Oliver Springs, to lead the way up. The property is gated, and it isn't addressed so I'm gonna to make a map before tomorrow night and post it for directions.

Probably the only magpul stuff will lotsa mags and maybe a stock. i wanna stay very minimalist, I see far to many AR's with unneccesary junk bolted on. A learned my lesson about being a minimalist in the Corps. At most it'll get a fullsize eotech or aimpoint and magnifier. Most likely it'll just be a single point sling, aimpoint micro or other small 1x red dot and a magwell grip.

Well I finally fed my need for an AR. Ive been wanting one since I was in the USMC and finally things worked out for me to get one. My normal job is very odd scheduleed, I might work 40 hours one week a mix of nights and mornings, then 10 hours next week, then 70 hours with no set hours each day. They have given me permission to take a 4 month leave of absence for this so thats even better

I know what your thinking, but its not that kind of gun rack. I just bought a Dodge Dakota 4x4 and I am looking for a gun rack that will mount to the back wall of the cab behind the back seats. It only needs to hold one rifle' and I would prefer it be completely out of sight with the bucket seats back in normal postions. If anyone has seen anything like this let me know. Thanks
