Just a thought for the guys with .22's. What if they are 28 days later style zombies with the rage virius? 1. My home built AR, with a 10.5" pistol upper to be an SBR. 2. Select fire Bereta 93R 3. One of my hand forged breaching hawks and one of my big 12" plus bowies. Or my 24 lb sledge Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

I never said a thing about getting it for free. The reason I havn't asked any of the tattoo artist in my area is because I haven't found one I trust yet. I also need an artist who will sell me the rights to the picture for use on t-shirts, and most tattoo artist won't. Thats why I posted here. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere
Rifle and handgun. 1911 is on the seat if I'm in the truck, on my belt if I'm not. AR-15 behind the seats Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere I'm not going to risk leaving my AR in my vehicle to be stolen. I have a fantastic hiding spot for my Glock which I doubt anyone would find and I bring it inside with me when I get home from work.
I live in a very rural town, and rarely venture to larger citys like knoxville so break ins are a small concern. This will change from person to person and area to area. I do everything I can to mitigate break ins, and drive an older beat up pick up truck with no gear visible and nothing enticing like sound equipment. Its a risk I'm willing to take to ensure I have a long gun in case of a shtf situation and I need to get home. Plus I live on a large farm, and also travel to my parents farm alot. My truck gun has been pressed into service more than once to get rid of a coyote harassing live stock, something that would be almost impossible with a handgun, or even a shotgun. My firearms do enter and exit the truck with me when I'm home. I dont leave them overnight Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

Hell, they were to busy screwing guards, and buying them cars in this prison to post pictures http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/24/shocking-indictment-prison-gang-took-over-baltimore-prison-impregnated-corrupt-guards/2/ Our prison system needs to be looked at very closely

I carry a blowout kit in my truck all the time, and 95% of the time I'm close to my truck. I'll just have to play the odds, as I can't stand to carry a bunch of stuff in my pockets, or hanging from my belt. My blowout kit contains: 2 torniquets 2 izzy bandges 1 pack hemcon/quikclot 1 NPA (nasal airway tube) 2 j-hooks (oral airway tubes) 2 chest seals 1 decompression needle Vet wrap Ace bandage Gauze Its a pretty good kit for major emergency, but is definitely geared towards gunshots and major trauma.

Is anyone here an artist who could draw up a picture that would go on a T-shirt and possibly a tattoo. I want a large viking carrying an AR-15 intead of sword and shield. Or does anyone know somebody who does that kind of work? Thanks I'm looking for something kind of like this

Not my kinda thing. But I'm very plain, mostly solid color work shirts. So anything that really pops like that isn't for me, and it has a gangster kind look that I think is a little extreme. Decent graphics though, good looking shirt if your into that kinda shirt. Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

I use a 1 x 30" belt grinder to establish the edges on my hand forged blades, working my way to 600 grit. Then I use a medium Arkansas stone to make them shave. I could do it all with stones, but starting with a fresh blade power tools are easier. I will touch a blade up on the grinder from time to time if its in nasty shape, or a super cheap beater.,

I carry a mid-2000's Springfield 1911 GI. Its a basic model, and I love it dearly. I prefer the small GI sights for carry, but a commander would probably be easier to carry everyday.

Never really thought we'd have trouble with it. The bottom rocks are buried deep, and we have other, larger buildings on similar foundations that have been there for years and years and never had issue. I don't think overturning would be an issue as heavy as it is.

I found them 3 places and handled them. Bass pro had them for $146, Smokey Mountain Knife Works had them for $140, and Greenes military in Knoxville had them for $155. I picked mine up off amazon for $112 shipped. Expensive, but worth it to me

We usually get 4-6 a day on average when they are laying normally. So maybe 30 a week on average. Its plenty for my family, which has 12 people including the kids. 10 chickens and a rooster. We look to add more soon for meat, but these are making more than enough eggs.

I just got my new multi tool. Its a Leatherman MUT, which is aimed directly at military, LEO and civilian shooters. I just got the box, and have had no way to test it yet, but it seems to feel solid in the hand, and has a lot of features that make it unique to a shooter who needs a good mix of specialty and general tools. Some of the stuff I think is noteable for shooters. Replaceable Firearm Disassembly Punch Replaceable Bronze Carbon Scraper #8-32 Cleaning Rod/Brush Adapters Carabiner/Bottle Opener (For when you need a cold beer, cleaning your rifle) Some of the stuff that made me choose it was the fact that it has replaceable hardwire cutters, which will be getting test on barbed wire as soon as possible, and that alot of the stuff is one handed operation. It'll be finding a permanent place on my belt and with my shooting gear, if initial impressions are any indication. Does anyone else have one of these? I had to decide between this and the Multitasker 2, and this seemed a little more of a general tool with some firearms tools, than a firearm tool that could work for some general tasking. Lets see your multitool, and here your opinions on the MUT. I thought I'd post some pics of my dads end of the world chicken coop. My name, not his lol. Its built out of oak we cut from our land, then cut on the band mill. It sits on oak 6x6's with a rock foundation, and its built in a bat and board style, with external nest boxes to get eggs from the outside. It has storage up top for anything you'd really need to store, we usually keep chicken feed up there. Anyways I thought I'd share, since its on of the strongest and best built chicken coops I've seen, and I'm proud to say I helped my old man build it. I just finished Patriot Dawn: The resistance Rises by Max Velocity and it was awesome. Be forewarned, it is very technical and uses a lot of military speech and acronyms. Most Vets won't have any issues, but some civilians may have to google some of the things. I'm now reading his training manual Contact: A tactical manual for post collapse survival. Lots of good info, but again technical to the point of being difficult to understand for some

Maklarbak T-Mag I was flipping through the latest Recoil magazine and came across a full page ad featuring the T-Mag made by Maklarbak. From the ad:"T-MAG is a highly durable polymer magasine, featuring constant curve internal geometry, stainless steel spring and of course, Maklarbak's Anti-tilt T-Follower.""Maklarbak's T-MAG makes sure you are warned when you have only one shot left in your T-MAG, by engaging the bolt stop as the second to last round is fired. This lets you chamber your last round BEFORE your mag-reload, giving you the possibility of engaging sudden threats, midway through your reload procedure." I can't find any other info, and their website is under construction. I may give them a shot, but I have to say I'm skeptical. That 2nd to last round bolt hold open goes against years of training for most people. The only way I could see it working is by doing alot of training and by using those mags exclusively, because being able to transition back and forth from last round to 2nd to last round hold open would be almost impossible to remeber under pressure. To me it has less to do with length, than with style and intent. I built 2 13" blades from the same bar of 1084. One is a bowie knife, with a cross guard and sharpened back clip like a traditonal bowie. So I call it a knife. The other has a tip and curve like a small katana (I blank on the correct term) but I refer to it as a bush sword due to intent and blade style. Its mostly semantics, interpration and intention of the blade from what I can find. There is no set defintion Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere

I fit in here. I'm more into doing berserker style. Theres a reason some of my friends have taken to calling me Thor, and alot of it has to do with a certain 24 lb hammer Sent from the backwoods of Nowhere
