Ive been learning with some family and friends who are really good. As well as Uncle jak from this forum who is a musician extraordinaire. I may try to do formal lessons, but its hard to keep bills covered most of the time, much less afford lessons Ive been able to read music for years, furst from church hymnals, then I played saxophone in the band in high school for a few years. And my qife helps with that. She llays clarinets, bassoon, piano, and some other stuff. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

The only problem I see with this is these guys The Rage virus zombies call for a belt fed or fully automatic weapons. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Btw, I did not mean to come off cocky in the above. I may have stumbled onto the wrong person and gotten my ass whipped. Though I like to think at 6'1", 250 lbs, and a almost 20 years experince in martial arts, as well as being a Marine, and have the arms of a blacksmith and block mason I might stand somewhat of a chance. Lol Ill keep up hope that I see my stuff again, but Ive already replaced most of it. The knives were the cheapest to replace, but definetly took the most work. The levels were top of the line Crick levels and the trowel was an almost new W. Rose. Mags were new, but at least most of the ammo was bulk pack federal. The axe is the only irreplaceable item since it was an antique and my dads first axe, but oh well. I am just glad they didnt rip out my radio or bust my glass. I should have left the levels and stuff behind the seat, but its hard in a single cab truck already full of stuff. Will definetly change where and how I leave it from now on. Notice the sarcasm at the end? It was a joke Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Well now that would depend on my mood. Which was pretty foul after losing my items. Does a sledge hammer count as a deadly weapon? (Sarcasm) Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I knew some of yall would understand the feeling well. I might have went to jail for assault, but I woukd do my damndest to make sure they remebered that beating every time they thought about doing it again Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I felt sorry for the guy..... so I did something about it.

Why would walmart fire him? He isn't selling anything or taking sales away from walmart. He is helping a kid enjoy a hobby. It would be the same as giving the kid a baseball if walmart was out of baseballs. Tapatalk ate my spelling. -
Welcome from a fellow Knoxville neighbor. Hopefully I'll have another get together soon and you can meet some of the guys. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I tooks the rifle out not long ago and Ive been revamping my get home bag also. I talked to Walmart, but the truck was in the main back corner of the lot and they didnt have any decent video. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
Random, or do you suppose someone you know? I would assume someone walking by could see some items of interest, otherwise why would they go to the trouble of a coat hanger.
I honestly dont know. My best guess is random. The blades were laying in the floorboard but visible, and my masons bag and levels were in the front seat where I had set them when I got off work. Thanks for all the advice guys. I put the word out to the pawnshops. Its not really the monetary value, which is less than $1k. Though thats still a big chunk, and the levels and stuff I will have to replace asap for work. Its the violation thing. Probably a good thing I didnt catch them. I would be in jail, because I do not value a low life piece of ####s life more than the tools I make my living with and my security. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

One problem was I parked in the back corner to stay out of the way, so noone was around. Im just glad they didnt break the glass, since I couldnt handle that fincially right now. And im glad I took my get home bag out on monday to do some rearranging, or I would have lost much more. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Well, I got hit last night. My truck was parked at Walmart in Oak ridge, while I rode with my wife out to dinner. When I got back my door was unlocked and there was a straightened coat hangar in the bed. They got 3 custom knives, including one I was doing for a gentleman here, as well as a pair of antler scales that were his. They also grabbed a small craftsmen tool set, my masonry tools (4 ft and 2 ft level, trowel, etc.) my old single bit axe, 4 loaded 1911 mags, a 100 rd bix of .45 acp, some hearing protection and my car charger. I only have liability insurance so no help there. I dont expect to see any of it back, but if you notice any of the above items, especially 3 big hand forged camp knives for sale at unusually low prices, please let me know. Thanks Jordan. And I did file a police report, but I doubt they will find anything, since it was all random, lower value items Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Just more tech nerds dreaming. When they have a working prototype beind fielded by a military unit, they can talk. I posted the helmet above because I didnt recognize it and my googlefu couldnt find it. It was confirmed by the above posters it was a photoshop. As cool as all the tech shit is, its nowhere near as cool when your humping that crap around. Been there, done that. Thats why my rifle doesnt have anything extra on it. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I'm learning 3 finger Scruggs style first, then I'm glnna try clawhammer style. Ill make sure to watch my hands, though Im already careful with them due to needing them for blacksmithing and masonry. Holy Smokes. That means I must have come out at least decent if this one is worth even half that. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I picked up a cheap Sovereign banjo today off craiglist. I paid $50, and it had some new parts that had been installed by a pro, he showed me the receipt. It had a new tailpiece and arm rest installed. I grabbed strings and picks at the flea market and now Im watching a basic beginners series on youtube and practicing. I plan to practice everyday. I dont wanna be a rock star, just able to pick a little when I want. Can anyone tell me anything about these banjos? All the info I can find says its a Harmony made Sovereign and thats about it. Ive seen 2 or 3 drop orange to yellow hot steel in the forge out of their tongs and catch it on the way down. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Thats the mind of stuff that impresses the hell out of me. In a shtf situation even the most well stocked medical kit will eventually run out. My old man knows a lot of home remedies and they have been passed on to me. Though I'm sure you have more working knowledgr, especially as accident prone as you are there cowboy. Which frontier remedy did you use for the scrapes and bruises when you and that pretty woman fell of that horse. (Inside joke ) Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Oh god.... Id rather be waterboarded Tapatalk ate my spelling.

This is very true. Sorry to hear about your friend btw. And yeah I am slowly stocking up. The hardest stuff to get is the iv stuff, and suture kits right now. I have been putting back as many of each kind bandage as I can afford at a time. I snapped this pic when I was repacking my truck gear including the medical kit and my blowout kit on my rig. I have other stuff catorgerized and stored. Where do you normally order from? Tapatalk ate my spelling.

Here are some ways to wear a shemagh. This is an over the face and head wrap, that is great for keeping sand and dust out of your face. This is an over face wrap, bandana style. It works well if your wearing a helmet, sunglasses, hat etc. This is just a scarf wear. I love these things when its cold, and windy, plus it will keep brass out of your collar when worn this way Tapatalk ate my spelling.

This is my entire medical kit. I keep the basics in my blowout kit, and the bigger stuff like the suture kits and IV setup in an old school medics bag. How medically prepared are you? Is it a major part of your preps or are you more of a tylenol and bandaids kinda guy? I like to keep a very substantial kit on hand. Right now I have 2 different saline solution bags, 3 different iv catheters and the hose setup, several CAT tourniquets, all different kinds of bandages from izzys to the big trauma bandages, several suture kits. I also have antibiotics on order from a vet supply house and the conversion charts printed off and laminated. So how prepared are you medically? And everything here was acquired legally, nothing shady, and I do have proper training on how to use the stuff pictured here. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

I used amazon to get mine. They have every color and price point imaginable Tapatalk ate my spelling.
