1. I'll throw in my opinion. Worth exactly what you paid for it   I like OSOE gear, even though the owner can come off as a prick sometimes. It is expensive, but I had one of his chest rigs and it was extremely well made. I had the Mookie War Rig light, which holds 8 AR or AK mags, and is small and compact. The only reason I sold it was to get a different one by him. This is the one I'm wanting. Tons of storage space, it rides high on the chest which I like, and its built like a tank.   http://soebelts.com/collections/chest-rigs/products/nsw-chest-rig       I've also had experience with BDS tactical. Again, super high quality gear, a little softer price point than SOE. They also offer some plate carriers. I plan to run a minimalist plate carrier with 2 AR500 plates under the chest rig instead of building everything off the plate carrier.   When I was in the Marines, we just attached everything to our flaks, and that works well, but it does run into some serious weight quickly once you figure soft armor, plates, combat load of mags, etc. Id look around and try on a few to make sure the one your looking at suits you. I love chest rigs, but some people hate them and prefer a more traditional style vest. I prefer the chest rig because its more comfortable to me in a vehicle or sitting in a chair, etc. And it gives me more options, I can leave off the plate carrier, or the chest rig depending on the situation.
2. Im in. Am I reading it right that we would be doing two secert santa gifts? I would prefer it that way. One bought one with a maker Tapatalk ate my spelling.
3. I am in Tapatalk ate my spelling.
4. You guys have got me really wanting a Master of G now. Either the rangeman or frogman Tapatalk ate my spelling.
5. Vendors bring stuff in friday night most of the time. A few low volumes may show up saturday morning, but those doors get closed about 845 before the show starts. And yes, vendors clear their own guns. We just go grab a couple of bags of zip ties and do all of our own friday night. They do walk throughs through out the day to make sure our guns are zip tied. 6. At least a hookers makes it clear that shes gonna screw you when you pay her. You are correct, This is capitalism at its best. They can have the best prices, and I can refuse to buy from them for any reason. That reason just happens to be the ungodly, gouging of gun owners, and them removing guns from their website then stepping all over their dicks apologizing a week later. You shop where you want, Ill shop where I want. But if I'm gonna pay to get screwed, its gonna be a hooker, nor ctd Tapatalk ate my spelling.
7. This. Also, did you return it with a loaded mag and empty chamber, or round chambered? Tapatalk ate my spelling.
8. There was an nd at the knox gunshow about an hour ago. I heard the shot, and was told it was a tube fed .22 rifle. They checked it and the chamber was empty but when they closed and zip tied it got chambered. I think it was a gentleman from coal creek armory who pulled the trigger but that isnt hard fact. Thought they did pack up and leave immediately afterwards. Just remember folks. Be Careful. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
9. Hey y'all, I'm gonna go ahead and start planning my spring Rendezvous. We may do a little shooting, but this will mostly be about meet and greet, good food, etc. It'll be a Friday night camp, Saturday event and camp that night, and clean up and leave Sunday. Primitive camping onsite. Address is Duncan flats Lane Briceville, TN. Ill add the street number at a later date. I want everyone who will to bring their banjos, guitars, etc and we will do some picking and playing, we will do a cookout, I'll fire up the forge and do a steel working demo, as well as some other stuff, like tree climbing and splitting wood shakes, etc. I'm gonna try to get some door prizes, like one of my knives and some hand firged camp tools, UncleJak is gonna do a knife, some ammo, etc to giveaway, as well as trade blankets for anyone who wants to do some swapping. Let me know if you are intrested in coming. I posted super early to give people time to make travel and time off arrangments. My goal is 100-200 people. Something huge. So lets make it happen. What: Spot's spring Shindig and Rendezvous When: March 7th, 8th and 9th, 2014 Where: Duncan Flats Lane Briceville, TN Jordan Tapatalk ate my spelling.
10. I can't, Id get banned for my language  Tapatalk ate my spelling.
11. Yeah most of the time its an outright lie. And on the off chance they are cheaper, those gouging pricks can keep it. I wouldnt piss on cheaper than dirt if the whole damn building was on fire. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
12. Its mostly true. You'll find odd tools that nobody has ever seen that are forge made. It means the blacksmith had a problem and he solved it lol Tapatalk ate my spelling.
13. I used a 2.5" wide, 3/8 thick, 5160 truck spring for the steel. It does have a good edge, and I did a soft back temper to let it deal with the force of the blows while retaining edge retention ability. Glad I could solve the mystrey for ya :D Tapatalk ate my spelling.
14.
Just an update for everyone who is curious. I've been trying to get this addressed by Spike's, but true to their past performance, the customer service rep is being less than easy to work with. It's looking like I'll just take it to a local shop like Predator and get it worked on. I'm pretty easy to please as long as you stand behind your product and not give me a hassle when I need work done. I'll not buy another thing from Spike's Tactical. That's for sure! I'll post an update once I talk to Predator.
You might also try Fighting Sheep Dog in clinton. Gunsmiths name is John young and he does very good work for a good price. Tell them Jordan sent you that way. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
15. Its a java monster can. And I love the truck lol. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
16. You hit the back of It with a wooden mallet and split off thin wooden shingles/shakes, to shingle a cabin Tapatalk ate my spelling.
17. Dang that was fast lol. Now just gotta set my old board break up, and help my buddy split out a few thousand for his cabin and barn. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
18. I made this over the weekend for a friend in need. Its a tool used when building cabins and homesteads. Lets see if anyone here can tell me what it is, and what its for. Ill post the answer in a few hours. Tapatalk ate my spelling.

22. College girls will do the same thing they do every year. Dress up like hookers because noone will bat an eye. Ive seen college girls wearing halloween costumes that are to risque for a stripper, but they are worried about cowboys? This country is screwed Tapatalk ate my spelling.
23. This. One day those officers are gonna kick open the wrong door, and a blood bath will result. Every day we get closer to it, and stuff like this pushes more and more people to our side. Hell with it. They can come and have my ammunition. One round at a time. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
24. To be honest, no. Between work, working on the farm, helping out with the gunshop, learning to play banjo and watching my wifes cousins kids, since they are to big a druggies to be parents, I just havent had time. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
25. I remember sitting for hours and practicing when I was in band. I already know how to read music and ive been learning tabulature. Though what Ive been doing so far is practicing my rolls and how to finger chords right a couple hours a night. Tapatalk ate my spelling.
