Chickens are great. Nothing like fresh eggs from your own chickens. This is my dad's setup. The nesting boxes have latched doors on the outside so eggs can be gathered from the outside, and right inside the door there is a 2 ft space, then a wall built from lumber and chicken wire. The water and feed goes in the space and the chickens can easily reach there heads through for both, but don't knock it over and mess in it so bad. Walk in doors for cleaning are a huge plus. This one is built out of Oak lumber. We cut the timber, then used a band mill to turn it into lumber and build the bate and board style coop. Sent from the backwoods

So recently my Facebook feed has become covered with ads for subscription boxes. Most are for clothes, candy or makeup, but after googling some for the wife, I found this one. Different levels, and it ships with gear, tactical clothing, edc items, etc. Anyone tried it yet, or considered it? I think I'm gonna order tge $100 pro this next cycle coming up and give it a shot. That's the equivalent of a fused hand grenade isn't it? I bet that thing tumbles early and often, and a 20" barrel means it's gonna be carrying a lot of juice. I love it Sent from the backwoods

That's a good looking hammer, and a decent price. Needs restoration is gonna mean probably another $1k to $1500 in work and parts, and hopefully it has dies or it'll cost several hundred for those. Would be a hell of a conversation piece either way. Sent from the backwoods

Of course a lot of it depends on how this stuff plays out. Some people will wake up one day and try to figure out when Lala land disappeared. And it hinges on several other things also, as a large scale event such as economic collapse will change the entire landscape. Sent from the backwoods

We have been headed down this road for years. Erosion of our rights started much earlier than most people even realize. I mean the NFA started in 1934 and is a massive infringement on our 2nd Amendment. At this point the real question is when does it start. How do you decide when it's time to start shooting, since it's already to late for voting. Gun owners on a whole still crucify each other over something as mundane as open carry, so who is willing going to be a lamb to slaughter by openly starting a revolution. Sent from the backwoods

Well after a rough patch that involved selling most of my firearms, including my rifles, I now have been steadily working at Aisin automotive casting since November. That means I can finally start shooting again, and I can build an AR again. Thanks to an amazing deal from a great friend here kn the forum, JCJ. I bought an unused, still in the box PSA upper from him yesterday for $100. Midwest Industries 12" rail, 1:7 chrome lined barrel, PSA flip up sights, upper, bcg and charging handle. I'll be doing a basic build on an aero or similar aluminum lower with a goal of keeping the coat under $300 total. I already added a weapon light, it is a Greg Mcgee Engineering 1200 lumen setup that I won on another forum giveaway last year. I'll update as I get the build rolling. Thanks guys Sent from the backwoods

Has anyone heard anything new on this?

This is spot on. I've got a lot of years in traditional martial arts. Learning the basics is quick ij a way but executing things such as joint manipulation, throws, arm bars, proper chokes, etc takes years of practice to do it full speed in a true situation. I've trained with people who do it by pure instinct they have trained so long (my dad for one) but getting to that level takes practice, lots of full speed sparring against an equal or better opponent, dedication and learning from someone who can show you the small nuances that make huge differences. Reviewing via video tape is ok, if you can get some one on one time with an instructor first to understand the small stuff and ask questions. For basic self defense that is effective, you really need just a few striking techniques, one or two good throws, and a few ground techniques, and then a lot of practice and a willingness to use them with sudden violence of action.

Nevermind. You aren't worth the time and effort to respond to this idiocy. You came looking for a fight and like an idiot I gave you one.

I'm done feeding the troll. Have fun with your opinion.

Yep. Running on my end

My issue with a stun gun is the same as has been mentioned above. You have to mantain contact for it to work. If I remember correctly Tennessee allows you to carry a baton if you take the class and get certified. Maybe do the class and carry a flat sap like cops used to carry? Very good weapons, that are non-lethal if used correctly and would hopefully be looked at as non-lethal response if you were certified for it

I will say I find it amusing that you believe I should be committed to a mental hospital. You have never sat around the fire and drank coffee with me, broke bread at my table, worked with me in the shop, or even met me face to face. You draw this conclusion from 3 post, that basically say I would be violent to protect an American flag from being desecrated. You talk of freedom then suggest I be locked away for my opinion. I have no criminal record, no speeding tickets, I left the Marines Corps with an RE-1A (recommended for renlistment) code on my DD-214, with not even a bad counseling in 5 years. Interesting

By all means, if that's me talking about committing a crime, then the admin can send me a pm. I know you have no idea who I am. I don't really care if you ever do. I have had dozens of TGO members under my roof, shoot at my house, and come learn blacksmithing in my shop. I would give a stranger the shirt of my back and the food off my plate to help them. But I was raised different than most. I was raised that your word means something, you take your hat off at the table, you call people Sir and Ma'am, and you don't desecrate a flag. If someone insults my wife or my mother they will either apologize or I will most likely put them in the hospital. If I catch someone beating a dog, horse, etc, I am going to return the favor. If I catch someone beating a woman or a child I'm going to kill them. And I'll stand before a judge, jury and Almighty God and say the same thing. You don't insult people, you don't hurt those who can't defend themsleves, you don't lie, cheat or steal. Burning a flag was your question, but your intent was to start a fight. That's fine by me. I've been around far to long to fight on the internet. I don't really care if you agree or disagree with my values. But it pays to remember that some people live by the law of what's right or wrong, not what some paid off judge decides. I'll gladly face any consequences for my actions, and answer for them. But I'll die knowing I stood for something and didn't compromise my values for some piece of garbage who thinks torching a flag is perfectly ok. It also pays to remember that carrying a gun doesn't automatically make you a badass. There are those that will make you eat that gun, holster and all.

Their actions still have consequences. It may not be from the government, but if I go to jail for stomping the hell out of some moron burning a flag, I'm ok with that. If you think I need a mental evaluation that's fine. The Marine Corps gave me one when I was Honorably Discharged and dint find anything wrong. Unlike what Mama may have told you, Violence does solve problems. This country would be a hell of a lot better place to live if assholes still got their guts stomped out for being idiots. Instead we pander to them, forcing our already overloaded courts to make decesion on whether something such as flag burning is covered by the 1st amendment. I said it before and I'll say it again. I take burning or stomping that flag as a personal insult, both to myself, to my best friend and his widow and orphans, and to every American who has been brought home draped under it. I am a violent person when I need to be, what's right is right, what's wrong is wrong. No matter what the government says
-
I'm a Marine vet, and support free speech. Free speech is great. Call me whatever you want, insult vets, cops , and everyone else etc. But everytime you step on that flag all I can see is you stepping on the one who draped my best friends coffin, and that was handed to a 22 yr old widow in front of their two children. So yeah, I'm probably gonna get a little emotional and bust somebodies skull if they stomp that flag. Like I said I would die for that flag. Going to jail for it ain't shit. Oh. And I support gay married couples right to protect their pot plants with full auto, suppressed 10" AR-15's and drink 64 Oz big gulp sodas.

I agree 100%. Sometimes how the law views it ain't how I view it. You try to kill me in a truck with me on a motorcycle and I am going to turn around and follow you till you stop. I might go to jail, but your going to the hospital for an extended stay. Also, would him leaving the truck be considered more inflammatory than a motorcycle turning around to get a tag number? I read it was in Aransas. I can't promise the validity of that but it would seem correct. Definitely in redneck territory, and guessing from the accent, it's gotta be the south. I will say I love the headbutt. "I dawnt car, I dawnt car, I dawnt.... whack. The fact that he only hit the guy once shows a ton of restraint. And of course then his ol' lady had to bail out of the truck and make it worse

Call me whatever you like. I loved my Subaru. 325 whp, all wheel drive, turbo on road race slicks. There was damn little that would stay with it on a twisty back road. Never should have sold that car, just couldn't afford to keep it after I got out of the Marines. And I would venture to say it saw more dirt time than most 4x4 trucks. Of course before that there was the Duramax. 611 whp, north of 1000 ft lbs of tq at the wheels. It enjoyed mustang brunch. And then I got out of the Marines and now my broke ass drives a beat up and worn out Dodge Dakota 4x4 and a Vulcan 1500A bike is my speed fix.

After breaking half a dozen Gerber I went Leatherman. This is the first I have heard of them being antigun. I carry a Leatherman MUT, it's one of their largest and heaviest but it gets used daily and has for 3 years now. Everything from constructionn mechanic work on bikes and cars, hunting, fishing and where it really excels, at the range or down range in the military. I love mine and just wish they had been available in 2007 so I could have bought one immediately after boot camp to carry my entire enlistment.

Even better, he tries to kill them by using a truck with his wife and kids in it. He is incredibly lucky it stopped with headbutt, though I'm suprised he got back up too. The motorcycles don't need to be speeding like hell in a neighborhood (if they were) but that sure as hell isn't grounds to kill someone. It's to late to bleach the gene pool this go round, the moron in the truck has already bred.

This got posted on a Facebook page I frequent. As far as I can tell, the bikers have a tendency to speed in this area, and one idiot takes it upon himself to almost hit a guy on a motorcycle headon. Then starts a screaming he has kids, etc. The kids are in the truck with which he just attempted a headon collision. Interesting turn of events when the other guy steps in. The motorcycle riders shouldn't have been speeding, but if you try to hit me headon and commit murder for speeding, you deserve everything you get. Goes to show tempers will get you in trouble quickly. Also, it includes some foul language. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dONyv-Cwkoo
