  1. I can always meet in Harriman. Its a little closer to the west lol
  2. Selling a Diamondback SideKick. Double action, swing out cylinder 9 shot .22 lr/ .22 Mag. Includes both cylinders, and the factory box, etc. Has approximately 300 rounds fired through it. Good little trail gun. I havent fired any mag rounds through it at all. I can throw in a full 50 round box of Hornady Vmax 30 grain .22 mag. $275 obo FTF Near Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, or West Knoxville. Will trade for an appropriate amount (800-1000 rounds) of 9mm target ammo as well.
  3. Do a tour at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary. Its about 15 minutes from my place and is worth doing a tour. Then drive across 116 ala the devils triangle. You can go in to the highway at the prison and follow it all the way through, across Petros and Pilot mountains into lake city then go up 441 to the dam. If your interested in that drive let me know and I can PM you good driving instructions since navigation doesnt work to great down in the valley
  4. It aint to bad once its parked but you better have a forty acre field to turn it around in. Turning radius sucks and its the size of a barge. Hauls a good load though
  5. Bump. $3000 or will trade on guns. Especially interested in a Stacatto with or without optics.
  6. Bump. Taking offers.
  7. What holster is that?
  8. Called and put mine on layaway today. They didnt have one with the optic, so Im gonna order it separate from amazon. Should be able to pick it up next month.
  9. https://www.springfield-armory.com/1911-ds-series-handguns/1911-ds-prodigy-handguns/ Official Announcement. $1499 both sizes without optic, $1699 with optic. I called my local dealer that I always go through and asked to be put on the list for the first 4.25" with an optic that comes in
  10. So Im a few days late, but I didnt see a post on here. Looks like SA is getting into the Double stack market. Price point for an optics ready is in the $1400-1600 range. If they can come in at that or below on street price they will have a real winner on their hands I think. Id buy one in that range. The Prodigy from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with double-stack capacity and a performance-driven feature set. Reconfigured around a double-stack magazine, the Prodigy’s polymer grip module mounts to its forged steel frame offering capacities of 17+1 and 20+1. Optics ready with an ambidextrous safety and picatinny rail the Prodigy combines the most beloved characteristics of the 1911 with modern capacity for unrivaled performance. 4.25" Forged Stainless Steel Match Grade Barrel Fiber Optic Front Sight, Black Serrated Rear Sight Forged Carbon Steel Frame Black Cerakote Polymer Black Grip 1x 17 Round, 1x 20 Round Magazine 2 Piece Full Length Guide Rod Optics Ready Slide 32.5 oz Optic cut appears to be the Agency Optic System Magazines are made by DuraMag and are "designed as a true improved version of the 2011 pattern mags. Tested and fully proofed in every gun that uses that pattern magazine" Reports say they will also use Stacatto magazines so that should be a plus.
  11. Duluth. I have a long torso, thought I have a heavier build at 6' 1" and 250 lbs. I wear their XL tall and it covers a pistol Iwb or Owb well without looking cartoonishly oversized.
  12. Hellcat RDP, bought new by me. Factory box and small soft case, optic cover plate with screws, Hex Wasp mounted and zeroed at 10 yards. Comes with Large soft case, 1 - 11 round mag, 3 - 13 round mags and 4 - 15 round mags. Also includes a Tagua 1836 leather and kydex OWB and a Crucial Concealment Covert IWB with adjustable cant. Pistol has less than 250 rounds down range, and has never been dry fired without a snap cap. Warranty card isnt filled out so warranty can be in your name. $1100 FTF meet up in Lenoir City, Loudon, Oak Ridge, Oliver Springs or Harriman. Only trade would be a nice little AR pistol.
  13. Looking for a Glock 34 for a project. Cheaper is better, round count and finish condition dont matter as long as it goes bang. Any generation.
  14. Looking for a light for my Hellcat. Olight Baldr Mini or something similar. I can buy new but thought Id check here to see if someone had something hanging out in a drawer unloved before I did. Can come to you within an hour of Knoxville or can meet in Harriman, Lenoir City, etc.
  15. I hate you. If you had posted this a week ago I would have saved a chunk and bought this instead of the Hellcat RDP i bought.
  16. Beretta 92Fs/93R. Loved them every since I saw underworld as a teenager. Glock 18. MP5 and a M60 or 240.
  17. So i have recently been working on my carry habits. I carry a lot but would like to move more towards truly carrying everyday. Part of that is finding a better concealment setup for work. Im a Production Supervisor at work and that means less physical labor, bending kneeling, crawling into tiny spaces etc. I usually pocket carry at work but have recently discovered the engima and I think it may be the answer Im looking for. Id like to carry my hellcat rdp in it, under my normal work attire of Duluth flex jeans and untucked shirts, either polo or button up. Anyone have any reviews, thoughts, comments etc to add?
  18. I hate that you live so far. If it wasnt a 3 hour drive it would already be gone. Im sure someone will snap it up soon
  19. Ive got one on a Hellcat RDP and I much prefer it to 3 dot style irons. I have an easier time keeping both eyes open. As far as finding the dot, turn the brightness up. Its not like irons where you need to focus on the front sight and blur the target. Look through the glass, dot over target and start squeezing. Thats what works for me anyways.
  20. I went, and bought a Diamondback sidekick for a better price than buds had it. Used guns, especially anything even perceived as older or vintage are completely through the roof. Ammo was to high for my wallet as well. I go about once every six months but its always the same overpriced guns and trinkets
  21. Picked this up at the gunshow today, $300 OTD tax and background included. I got home and ran 250 rounds of Armscor 36 grain HV .22 LR hollow points through it. The trigger in double action is heavy but not intolerably so. Its not a target pistol by any means, but for a trail gun/around the farm beater its not bad. The single action trigger break is surprisingly light and short. I had one misfire in 250 rounds and it light off on the second go around so it may have been the ammo. I have not yet tried it with the .22 wmr, but I am very happy with the pistol so far especially for the price. As far as accuracy I havent bench rested it, but it is coke can accurate off hand at 25 yards and considering the shooter thats pretty good in my book. If you have considered one I highly reccomend it as of now, Ill update if anything changes.
  22. So i recently put a gem of a Detective Special on layaway, chambered in .32 Colt NP aka .32 S&W long. I would like to have it reamed to accept .32 H&R Magnum or preferably .327 Fed Mag. Are there any gunsmiths local to Knoxville who would be up to the challenge? Ive seen Det Specials reamed to .32 H&R mag, but I cant find one in .327 fed. Not sure if its a pressure issue, OAL issue or just nobody has done it and put it on the internet. Any help on a shop to discuss it worh sould be appreciated
  23. Im a supervisor at a boat factory and we have a simple solution for that. If you are late for your shift then you get a half point. If uou start at 630 I expect you to be in my startup meeting at 630. Miss a full day and its 1 point. 4 points is a warning, 5 points is a final warning which means no promotion, raises or moving to other departments for a year. 6 point is termination, no questions asked. It can seem harsh but its fair.
  24. People who run the speed limit or slower in the left lane. Some of us are trying to use the hammer lane to actually pass, not cruise. And semi trucks that run side trying to pass another truck for miles on end.
