Looking to buy a nice RDS for a pistol. First preference would be either an Acro P2 or an RMR RM07 type 2. Others will be considered as long as they are quality, proven sights. I used to be a smoker so it became habit. But it does have its uses. We use them at work on heat shrink if we are doing field repairs on the water to wiring. We also use them to melt grease pencils to mix up with some other stuff to do vinyl repairs. Always helps to have a lighter when you decide to do a fire in the evenings without having to go in the house and hunt one. And Im in the woods alot hunting and hiking and the ability to make fire in case of emergency is pretty much mandatory

Most days anymore its a Hellcat RDP in a Crucial Concealment carried appendix. Case Seahorse Whittler pocket knife, Bic lighter, and a Fury Concealment kydex card wallet. Leatherman Surge on the belt or a Leatherman sidekick clipped in my pocket. Streamlight Microstream light in shirt pocket. That takes care of pretty much everything I do day to day.

I will definitely update with pictures and a review. I dropped it off this morning, spent about an hour there talking guns, mutual aquitances and generally shooting the ####. Good guy to talk to, and the work I saw in person today looked good. I looked at some work he did in person today while I was there and spent awhile chatting. His website doesnt do his work justice in my opinion. I will definitely update with good pics and an honest review once he is done. Quoted an approximate two week turn around.

I think stuff like this is incredible. For a "normal" long distance shot I think the procedure you described is realastic. But when you factor in things like the below quote, your pretty much lobbing indirect fire into a target. "Scott made the wind and elevation call of 1,092 MOA up and 17 MOA left. So befoee I go chasing down a gunsmith, I wanted to post here. Does anyone here do polymer pistol mods on the side or as your mainline? Id rather support someone on the forum than an unknown. I have a G34 that I want to have the Glock hump removed/grip reduced in diameter, the finger grooves smoothed off, and have it chopped to Glock 19 length then the whole thing stippled with something with some grip that isnt so aggressive it shred hands and clothes. Anybody here the does that kind of work? Will Travel anywhere from Nashville to the NC state line. Located in Knoxville area.
