  1. If they do that, they will be forcing Americas hand. We have thousands of troops over there. I was stationed on Okinawa, and if I remember right there are 16 U.S. military facilities on Okinawa, not counting main land Japan. If they did this, which I don't think they will, but if they did it would start WW3
  2. I was reading a draft power forum I frequent, and found this article. I know there are a lot of people here who loves animals, and several horse and mules riders in the crowd. This museum euthanized and stuffed two HEALTHY living mules for a display. I've written them a stronly worded letter, and will be spreading the boycott. I understand the animals were past their prime, I've worked mules and horses my whole life. But I don't think it was right to deny them their final years out to pasture relaxing, just because a stupid museum wanted a "life like" display. And yes I know the trader said their next stop was dog food, but there are hundreds of people who have stepped forward trying to purchase the mules for rescue before the museum did this. Fake, animtronic mules would have been perfect and conveyed the importance just as well. Disgusting.... http://www.kcbd.com/story/19565984/american-museum-of-agriculture-euthanizes-2-mules-for-exhibit Their facebook page if you would like to let them know what you think of this behavior. https://www.facebook.com/pages/American-Museum-of-Agriculture/187087493451?ref=ts
  3. You drill a hole a lil smaller, and cut it with a rasp/file into the shape and size you need.
  4. You can walk around your property with any firearm your allowed to own openly displayed. I walk my yard, fields, and woods with a loaded Marlin 336 in .35 rem and a Winchester Model 12 12 gauge all the time. You just can't discharge them in city limits so just keep that in mind if you live in town. As for the cops pulling me over, is it any of their business where I'm going? No. But I was raised to be polite and courteous, so unless the questions go beyond the normal mundane stuff, I'm gonna just reply in my normal tone, have a decent conversation with the man and go on about my business. I've been pulled over twice with unloaded long guns in plain view. The officer just ask if they were loaded, I said no, and he said alright, just leave them on the rack if you don't mind. Only gun interaction I've ever had with an LE and it was positive.
  5. Mark@sea built my rig for a very resonable price and it was perfect and beautiful. Id shoot him a pm.
  6. My dad is 5'10" and I'm 6'1" so yeahd hes a big one lol. Around 17+ hands and he weighed 2200 lbs last time we weighed him. Thanks
  7. How do I turn in an application for that? Id love to spend more time behind an anvil. Do you use coal, charcoal, or gas forges? Provide your own tools and anvil?
  8. Are you the smith up there?
  9. Everybody made their plans? The time draws near...
  10. Id be down to beat something like that out at the meet.
  11. Vontar can you shoot me a link where you found that? I'd like to get a closer look
  12. So we were right in thinking it was t hill stuff up with? Any chance you remember how the point mounted up to the plow? Like what did the point bolt too?

4th Quarter choke artist. My wife watches football, I don't. But I watch and listen enough to know they were gonna choke against Florida. Just like they do every year.
  14. Let me rephrase. I know its a garden plow thats pulled behind a horse. There is one lever that adjust "feet" that adjust wing depth, and another that adjust wing width. We've been told it was a celery hiller, but that was a bust, as a celery plow has the point behind the wings. If we can figure out the point and mounting type then we plan to restore it for use behind our Belgium Big John
  15. My dad bought this plow about 35 years ago with no point on it. We have slowly started pulling all our old plows out and redoing them to make them useful (50+ walk behinds) and this is the only one that we aren't 100% sure on manufacture or even what its for exactly. We are 99% sure its for either digging potatos or hilling them up. But we need to know what kinda point went on it, it currently has a mount jerry rigged on for a bulltongue, but we would love to have a picture of an original one, so we know what point to forge out and how to mount it. Heres some pics, any info is appreciated.
  16. Yes, I would. I have worked my ass for everything I have ever had, and noone has any right to take it away from me. They used to hang horse thiefs, and you can be sure someone would think twice if they knew getting caught stealing might mean death.
  17. I've known a lot of MSG duty Marines while I was in the USMC. They are some very well trained men, ready to do what they need to do to defend United States Property. Armed Marines stopped it once before, They would have done it again. "They told (us) to open up the Embassy, or "we'll blow you away." And then they looked up and saw the Marines on the roof with the really big guns, and they said in Somali, "Igaralli ahow," Which mean "Excuse me, I didn't mean it, my mistake." ~ Karen Aquilar, in the U.S. Embassy; Mogadishu, Somalia
  18. Just remember, stuff like this is taking away OUR personal freedoms. Even if you don't drink soda, its still your choice to do so. This does nothing but erode our personal freedoms. Just remember: "First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. " Its just like anti-smoking legislation, or anything else. Just because your not a smoker, doesn't mean you should not support their rights. If they will limit the amount of soda, whats the difference in limiting the amount of soda I buy, and the amount of ammunition I buy. Don't say it won't happen, because stuff like this proves that legislation controlling amounts of anything can be passed.

  24. Opie is by far my favorite character on the show. The club has cost him more than anyone else on the show. He is also the most complicated of everyone. Plus he has an epic beard.
  25. Yeah I need to go as a spectator. I really wanna try it, shooting in the cap and ball class. Im really wanting to pick up a set of Walker Colts to do it with lol
