My first fast vehicle was a 2005 GMC pickup truck. Duramax diesel, Intake, exhuast, nitrous, EFI live. 613 whp, 1000+ ft lbs of tq. 12 second 1/4 miles clicked off in 4 wheel drive at 7300 lbs My second toy was a 2004 Subaru WRX wagon. Bigger Turbo, injectors, major tuning, coilovers, clutch, Hoosier road race slicks, lots of suspension and chassis braces. 320 whp, would destroy most cars in the twistiest roads and more than held its own on the straights. And it got dirty on the weekends Those toys have been sold, and I'm currently on a semi hunt. As soon as I get in a better position financially I wanna build an old 4 speed muscle car, if I can find something that isn't ungodly expensive.

Shoulder Holster - Vertical or Horizontal?
Spots replied to Motasyco's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Most military I know, including every helicopter pilot I ever flew with, which was alot of them, wore a vertical because a horizontal, especially with the grip angleing down, automatically flags everyone behind you, which is not a way to make friends Sent from behind my anvil in ye olde smithy -
If I happened to know how to make alchol in a still, and do it without hassel, I would advise you to study up on it real good. Its not as important for fuel, but homemade liquor is an art form. If your not producing mass quantites I wouldnt be to worried about the legalites. Keep it jnder ten gallons at a time, label as fuel, and you'll be fine. Sent from behind my anvil in ye olde smithy
Yeah, but he said three years ago. I haven't seen an A1 in the hands of a Soldier since '99, and that was a REMF Guard guy. Hell, you can't even get the correct ammo to fire out of an A1 anymore. M855 starts tumbling before 25m out of a 1/12 twist barrel. Seen it myself.
He actually just said 3 years and he is 51 years old according to profile. I assumed he meant 3 years in a row, probably not 3 years ago Sent from behind my anvil in ye olde smithy
Any of these movies 'get you into a gun'? I shared in my post above what got me into 1911s. This isn't a movie but the game "Red Dawn Redemption" got me into lever actions. =)
The good, the bad and the ugly gave me an obssesion for 1851 Navys. Lead to this rig before it was over. Course mine were cap and ball, and I sold them to my brother in law soon after. Still want a cartridge conversion one to replace them. http://i535.photobucket.com/albums/ee356/tnplowboy07/holster5.jpg Sent from behind my anvil in ye olde smithy

KEl Tec Su-16 is also an option for a decent rifle that handles AR/M16 mags

Happy New Year everyone from Flatwoods Forge!!! Would like to say the last day of the year has been on of my best. I sold my truck today, for some very, very much needed cash, and was GIVEN a Springfield 1911 GI, with two mags, the orginal box, holster and mag carrier, and a box of hornady critical defense. I was given it by a member here, but won't name names until I get the OK.

I forgot that one. Kinda cheesy but I really liked it
