You would think they would be smart enough to put an effort into keeping it from crossing an ocean too.

and possible new case.. this time LEO http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Texas/2014/10/08/Texas-Patient-Shows-Signs-of-Ebola-May-Have-Had-Contact-With-Duncan

Now they need to make fliers and air drop them all over the infected countries so they see that we don't have a magic wand that can save them.

But but but Jenny McCarthy says it is bad! On a side note, it would be interesting to know if this new virus going around is the result of all of these unvaccinated illegal children that showed up this year.

Well, rest assured that some of our greatest right up the road from us at Ft. Campbell will be going over there to fight it. And when they come back, after being exposed to the environment... They will still be right up the road from us. :)

of course they messed up on something, was just making a point on how easy it can be transmitted. Especially the part about how they used a general use/employee elevator to transport his infected materials/waste around.

It's not airborne, but the nurse in Spain was wearing full protective garb from head to toe & only went into this guy's room 2 times, but she still caught it. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2014/10/07/after-nurse-contracts-ebola-spanish-health-workers-raise-concerns-about-protective-equipment/

Oh I thought they were taking him to Bethesda.. my bad

Few things going on there; first, you're not going to "overheat" a video card by using dual monitors unless you're doing something graphically intensive like watching movies, playing games, editing movies etc. Normal usages (surfing web, office apps etc.) don't put much of a strain on a video card, even old outdated or onboard cards. My first guess for you would be to make sure the resolution and/or refresh rate is low enough for the TV to work. A lot of monitors go far beyond what a TV can handle... but this is just a guess, it's sort of hard to tell you to look at one specific thing or another because we don't have all the info.

And one patient incoming to Nebraska: http://news.yahoo.com/nebraska-hospital-prepares-arrival-ebola-patient-141536244.html

not sure about that specific one, but David usually comes through for just about anyone on here that needs something.

You could get a great dane, this is our neighbor's 5 month old puppy trying to eat my head a couple of days ago. -
oh tnguy, it's already turned into a racial/slavery debate. Anderson Cooper was interviewing some author last night and he said this: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2014/10/03/this_sound_bite_is_all_the_proof_you_need_that_political_correctness_is_destroying_this_country So the Ebola issue in Liberia is our fault because of slavery.

It's the best stuff around.... There's no crazy signature flavor like Tabasco or Frank's or whatever... It's just really good.

I looked it up and apparently they said it can also live in semen for up to 82 days even after the person has survived. The 6-7 day thing appears to be in blood only, they said it lives for a few hours in other fluids on surfaces. Also they say it's not airborne, but if someone sneezes on you the viola you're done for. If that's the case they should be able to spread it by coughing and breathing if you're close... which pretty much means it's fucking airborne.

That's no bueno if true

County health director dude there is saying it is likely a second person close to patient 0 has it now. They're monitoring them, but that's all they said http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/10/01/texas-ebola-patient/16525649/

Here's the graphic showing the explosiveness of this disease. (posted in this week's CDC MMWR) When is the last time you've seen confirmed bubonic plague cases shoot up 700% in 60 days? This is some real stuff that if it isn't squashed soon, will be having an impact on our own lives. And remember when you see that, those are only the confirmed cases. I won't speculate on future numbers, but some of the reports are anywhere from 550,000 to a worst case scenario of 1.4 million by January (according to the CDC)... And at a 50% survival rate, well, that's not a good thing if you're on the receiving end.

There may be some confusion with this so I looked up the changes. The doctors can send in electronic prescriptions for them, but they can no longer call them into the pharmacy.. meaning, you can call your doc to get a refill, and they just have to send it electronically to the pharmacy. However, I don't think all doctors have those means, so that may require going back to the paper prescriptions for the small fry docs. But, they can also do up to a 90 day supply on each one. (anything less than this is 100% a call by the doctor) As far as Walgreens goes, they changed their policy on this a while back. before you could just tell them your address at the drive up window and pick it up, now you have to let them see your driver's license. It's really not that big of a deal on that part.
-
That's what the Vanderbilt docs do, they've never given refills on it... but all you had to do was call in and they would send a new scrip to the pharmacy.

He's not infected with ebola, because according to OS, contracting ebola is more complicated that solving a rubik's cube on LSD while handcuffed. We keep hearing "it's not contagious, it's not airborne, it's extremely difficult to contract it and can only be done by sharing body fluids" but they won't be specific.. Does body fluids mean blood only, mucus, saliva, tears, sweat... wtf does it mean already? Because way too many people are contracting this shit for them to say it's only as contagious as HIV.
