That kind of warning means it won't be aired. Fox isn't like a foreign media reporter that can publish the stuff then disappear back into the shadows where thy normally operate.

Looks like this guy may have been legit, Pentagon came out today and said this interview is not getting aired and reminded the guy that he signed an NDA even if he was a civilian it still applies. Hope "someone" releases a hypothetical book like OJ Simpson's If I did it, this is how I would've done it kinda thing.

Dang, unlimited talk, text and 3g with republic wireless is only $25/month and they have $99 decent smart phones - no contract & a 30 day refund policy. Actually just checked and freedom pop has a new unlimited plan for $19/month, that's pretty darn good too.

Marcus Luttrell was able to do a book and a movie while still remaining subdued.

If that's the case I hope he is single, was an only child and his parents have long passed. He should be flogged for putting other people in danger if not... But he has to have some level of "smarts" because he did make it to SEAL team 6, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Doubt it will show him, I don't think Leonard Embody would even be dumb enough to do that

Car/Cow accident question (not wife or I) no pictures
Sam1 replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
Assault I mean Angus Cows must be banned immediately! Next thing you know, someone will add a 30 round magazine clip and a pistol grip to these things and turn it into an evil black cow. -
http://dailycaller.com/2014/10/29/fox-news-lands-interview-with-seal-member-that-killed-osama-bin-laden/ Says the interview is showing on fox news - Nov 11 & 12

I'm for it either way & actually think there should be unrestricted gambling, lottery, raffles or whatever. State needs to start getting with the times.

Wish her the best, but unless that thing was all busted up I would've kept the cow and took it to the butcher myself. -
So on the #4 one I don't quiet understand it/ These organizations can have raffles for things, I'm not sure what the difference is in the legal definition of a lottery and a raffle other than one is for goods and one is for money.

Most home theater stores have those Cinemate systems set up as a functioning model, I know best buy does. I would drop by and check them out before ordering one. Here's our little movie room, 72" DLP with the Cinemates. They're on stands because I was too lazy to wall mount them & too cheap to pay someone to do it for us.

before you do the soundbar, check out those Bose 2.1 Cinemate speakers. I don't know what kind of sorcery Bose put into that sound processing box, but they sounded better than a legit 5.1 system (not one of those cheap walmart combo boxes). We went through 3 or 4 speakerbars (up to $500) and a full $700 5.1 system, and nothing could even touch that Bose setup.

3D is more of a novelty, we thought we were going to use it all the time and after getting one, the only thing worth watching in actual 3D was boxing. That's amazing, but everything else is so so.

Now that you have a 65", the 66" will be on sale next weekend

Hmm that's strange, we never really noticed a shortage around here

Now the WH is trying to get the states to back track and remove quarantine orders? Freaking really? http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/27/nyregion/ebola-quarantine.html So we don't need to quarantine anyone because ebola isn't coming to the USA I mean it's almost impossible to catch I mean we can screen them before they reach the USA I mean they're not contagious until they are projectile vomiting cheerios at you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXfKvLu9yCw

"Sons of Guns" stars Stephanie Hayden and Kris Ford were arrested Friday
Sam1 replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
Like Will said on the show, "No show is complete without a big explosion at the end" Congrats on the big finale! -
Hopefully they were flogged appropriately

To throw another one out there, not sure if this or how it could work... but maybe gramps feels bad for not being able to provide. Is there any way that you could talk to him and say that you'd like to help out, but you need some help on something in return and maybe he could do a little odds or ends thing for the stuff so he felt like he was the one providing? It's a long shot but you never know. Outside of that, I would do as Runco suggested.

Wow that thing should be in a museum!

I would have to disagree with you there, 'hocking' it may be the best thing that happens to that gun. I know plenty of people that can appreciate sentimental value between a stranger and his gun more so than a family member that can. Perfect example is my dad and an old .38 J frame that belonged to my grandpa. Dad made it sound like that was the most important thing in the world, but whenever he needed some beer, guess what the first thing to go to the pawn shop or someone else in the family was? Luckily it ended up with my brother and won't need to be tracked down anymore.

That's not too bad, it's detuned training ammo. You want to see a big boom, check out the videos of them shooting combat ammo. The one in the pic is spec'd out here: Length: 34.7 in (881 mm) Weight: 41.9 lb (19.0 kg) Projectile Color: Blue with white markings. Peak Chamber Pressure: 70,325 psi at 70°F (4,850 bars at 21°C). Nominal Velocity: 3,740 ft/sec (1,140 m/s) and here's the combat round: Length: 38.74 in (984 mm) Weight: 44.88 lb (20.4 kg) Projectile Color: Black with white markings. Peak Chamber Pressure: 96,000 psi @ 120°F. 82,650 psi @ 70°F. Nominal Velocity: 5,512 ft/sec (1,680 m/s) The biggest differences is are the chamber pressure and velocity. The training round is extremely slow because they use a cone on the end of it to cause high amounts of drag for safety reasons at the range. But anyways, when you shoot one of the real ones, everybody within 5 miles knows something is going down..

And... another case of, if the parents would freaking be parents, this would never have happened https://twitter.com/frybergj Looks like he started lashing out a looong time ago. On a funny note, I wonder how long it will be before the left hangs his dad out to dry:
