I'd be for this if they took every penny out of entitlement programs and funded it solely with that money. They could probably write an annual $10,000 check to every citizen over 18 in this country and still save money.

Agree with Murg on this one, the mechanics behind a .17 would be pretty much the same as a .22 except for the bullet, so it wouldn't be much of an 'upgrade' for lack of a better term. Maybe something like a .410/.45 colt so he can bounce between different loads & be able to shoot a nice fat centerfire caliber out of it as well. I'm sure there's a bunch around, but here's one that popped up at walmart for sale: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Rossi-Curcuit-Judge-Shotgun-.410-Bore-.45-Colt/17200849

Oh no it wasn't meant to be directed at you at all, sorry if you took it that way. I will say there was no shortage of people here that refused to go vote though, and I have no trouble voicing my opinion on how stupid that was. Politics are a zero-sum game, people need to consider that before sidelining themselves during an election.

NRA 2015 Annual Meetings and Exhibits, Nashville TN

For parking, there are two lots right behind the federal court house, they normally jack up the rate from $5/day to $10/day when they have games or concerts. These lots are just a few hundred feet from the front of the convention center. Here's a sat picture of the lots(circled in red) -
We had the chance to stop this from happening 2 years ago, but people are so short-sighted that all they knew is they didn't like Romney. So they didn't go vote, and here we are. Those same people are now running around with their heads about to pop off trying to figure out what's going on. Hopefully everyone has learned their lessons and they'll be able to trouble themselves to go out and vote in 2016.

Yeah I checked, a third seller and it was not asking me to pay that time. I think these sellers may be starting to charge people sales tax and pocketing the extra money... because these weren't businesses I was trying to buy from and they were working out of IL & WY.

I bought some stuff a couple months ago and nada. Tried to buy something from two different sellers in other states today and it popped up both times. Guess I'll find a mom&pop online shop!

When did eBay start charging sales tax for every transaction now?

It's pretty boring this year, all you have to do is replace Underwood with Obama and AmWorks with Obamacare and viola you have the past few years' of political news summed up into 13 episodes of a TV show.

unfortunately most people look at it as adding time when it does not. it's done while drawing or acquiring a sight picture As a side discussion, how many cases are around where the person drawing the gun couldn't disable the safety in time? flipping off a safety takes no more practice or effort than it does to learn how to put your finger on the trigger. These aren't as complicated as combination locks. Hell even inside our tanks we had a huge lever that had to be moved about a foot before the tank would fire when it could just as easily have had nothing, or used a button. And it wasn't disengaged until the target was identified by another crew member. Then it had to be re-engaged before the breech would drop and another round could be loaded. I never seen a single instance in 6 years of a tank having an accidental discharge. Safeties aren't that big of a deal to manipulate, but they sure stop one hell of a lot of accidental and negligent discharges from ever occurring.

Coulda woulda shouldas exist everywhere. Front site catching the holster could get you killed, not indexing properly when drawing could get you killed just as easily as accidentally hitting the trigger on a gun with no safety could.

KY has a diminished value law, they have to pay it. Don't let them jack you around on it because the first thing you will get when you trade that in or sell it is "oh it's been in a wreck" and the price starts dropping. No one cares how light the damage was, the fact that checkbox is marked knocks the value down. Don't even report it to your insurance. Don't let his insurance company jack you around for a penny, they owe you to fix the vehicle to your standards, not to the shop's. They owe you for time and trouble of getting the vehicle fixed as well as a rental if you need it while the car is in the shop. You're pretty level-headed and can handle it without needing too much assistance, just remember their claims rep is not there to help you, he is there to pay you as little as you let them get away with.
-
Easy fix to all of this. I only carry guns with a physical safety on them. Takes half a millisecond to turn it off while you unholster and you don't have to worry about silly things like this happening.

She says you shouldn't be able to own an AR15, but she's happy as all get out to have a ship named after her that has a cannon, and Phalanx and lord knows what else we aren't allowed to know about on it. https://www.facebook.com/GGiffords/photos/a.382045618709.162743.6593503709/10152851563753710/?type=1&permPage=1

Same here, they are awesome to deal with. Looks like they have a set of coopers for $499 out the door list price. If you go into one of the shops, they will usually knock $5 or $10 per tire off, then it looks like they are doing $30 off for the set if you use their little in store credit card. We don't like those in-store cards, but we have one for discount tire because they've always got some deal with $25 or $50 off a set. They we just pay the bill in full. Heck, we got a set of 80,000 mile goodyears for the mercedes for under $300 installed because of the rebates from the card and some close out a few years back. <edit> here is a tire size calculator that is really handy - you can play around with the sizing and see if their is anything similar to what you want, but possibly more common and cheaper. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html
