  1. Yeah there was some good stuff going on, one thing I learned is that Rock Island has been getting parts from all kinds of other manufacturers, shipping them to be assembled in the Philippines and then shipping them to South America in small quantities so they can be imported to the US legally.  Had EAA copycats, Glock copycats and and kinds of stuff.
  2. And good Lord there were a lot of people, had to have been 15-20k people there while we walked around. Some really good displays set up, but my favorite thing of all was the .45 air rifle that came in around 500ft/lbs of energy with a 350 grain bullet. That's just insane
  3. Me and a friend went this afternoon and it took 30 seconds to register him. There's a ton of people there to help.
  4. Everyone from Nashville is smart enough to stay away from that place.
  5. Memphis knows how to do it   http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=396_1428386970
  6. In TN there were 938 suicides reported for 2013. (15.4 per 100,000)   CDC reported that more than 59% of suicides in 2012 were committed with a firearm.   When the economy started tanking in 2007, people couldn't afford to go on as many trips/vacations and the vehicular death rate started dropping almost 20% through 2009 and has bottomed out.     "there are lies, damn lies and statistics"  The agenda driven groups never seem to want to break down the criteria that contributed to their findings.   Took a 30 second google search to debunk a report they probably have 500 man hours invested in.
  7. There's a $10 membership on their website. May be too late to do that now though.
  8.   Yeah I do have access to them as well - looks like they have 155mm clusters (m483), the M110's, M2A1 & T77 inert projectiles.  Both used and new
  9.   If it was actually self-inflicted the most likely scenario would have been drawing or holstering in some manner.  Caught on a shirt or jacket or whatever and his finger hit the bang switch.
  10. You need to invest in one of these selfie sticks for better pics:
  11.   I mailed that ticket for you yesterday, it should arrive tomorrow... No reason to wait in line
  12.   And also mastered the art of transferring liability to the people and away from the leadership, for lack of a better term.
  13. Some of the larger military surplus businesses have things you would never expect, and a bunch of them.
  14. They're available at +/- $3mil Johnny. Vero, it's about 18-20" and roughly 10 pounds.
  15. Ran across an old tungsten penetrator that was primarily used in the 105mm cannon (and shortly with the 120mm) on the M1A1. These were used until they switched from a tungsten core to depleted uranium (more dense) for the combat rounds. To deplete the stockpile, the army started using them as training rounds, but with the added velocity of the 120mm, the range they would travel if someone fired outside of the range markers was astronomical... So they switched to a round that replaced the stabilizing fins on the back with a cone to slow it down and reduce the range dramatically. The cone rounds are easy to come by, but these are getting harder and harder to find as time passes. Every time I pick up something like this it brings back all the memories from being on a tank, having both the best and worst times of my life at the same time. Not sure what will be next on the list, but I'm always on the lookout.
  16. I think if you move to an area with no coverage, they don't charge you for terminating early

  18. Lol
  19. Would a hug help?
  20. Here's a test from a few minutes ago, after work the internet speed doubles.
  21. If not, I would check on renting one as well.  Not sure how much those DR things are, but I would guess at least $1000 just from the amount of advertising they do.
  22.   Nah it hits 320 something at the end of the straight, once in the beginning of the video and once again at the end.  The follow-up video with interview, the rider says the track record is 214mph by Mark someone, and that was on a motogp bike.  The rider hit 200.7mph with the H2R and said it was still pulling hard.
  23. This effin thing is hitting 200mph+ on the straight and is a production bike.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ajURWAQhX4
  24. Why not DIY with something like this?  Could even weld a few inches of rebar spikes on it to dig in if wanted and it would cost a fraction of that DR thing.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be7VdPP8XCA
  25. Here's ours, the cache engine was on the fritz and was killing the ping: It kicks around 400/down and 200/up after 5pm, I think AT&T lets everyone have free reign on their level 3 fiber downtown after business hours.
