  1. I like it.  I don't care much for Trump in the political arena but he is forcing the politicians to talk about what they always skirt around.  If a huge gaff occurs and Trump is put down, there will be so much of the conversation moved towards what Paul or Cruz have tried to do, that they will slide right in to fill the gap.   Trump somehow got the actual issues to the front, while stepping on the others in the process.  He gives out Lindsey Gramnesty's phone number, Gramnesty responds with a video of him destroying his phone to show off.  Gawker gives out Trump's cell number and he puts a campaign message on it so everyone calling gets that.   Guy deserves credit for playing like a pro, and I can't wait to see what happens at the debate.
  2. needs bacon.
  3.   There's about to be a civil war between the black population.
  4.       This case could end up bringing in a lot of interesting variables.   Maybe we can get a scare started like what happened after Sandy Hook, everyone will blow their money on drones since they're about to be outlawed and that will give time for the .22lr stockpiles to replenish.
  5.     And we now just found a new place to have the next TGO meet & greet.
  6.
  7.   I was curious about the wiretap stuff as well, but unless someone coughs up the sd card, there will never be proof that it was actually recorded.
  8. Well, according what I see on the FAA's website, once that drone leaves your line of sight, it is illegal:       There's no way they seen that drone over 1000 feet away, so that will bring another variable into the equation.
  9.   Someone had already taken the memory card from it when it crashed, there really wouldn't be anything else stored on the drone would there?  I mean if it had bullet damage or not, they already had admission from the shooter.
  10.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_kfUVZdTkU   Some drones do now.
  11. Iirc back home in KY you can shoot through the door now if you're in fear, don't have to wait until they make it inside. It may be tied into that somehow.
  12. Can't use the gun argument comparison on this one. If someone decides to exercise their 2a rights by brandishing a rifle and floating 20 feet over my backyard while my daughters were outside, there would be much more than a drone shot down that day. If it's about flying drones, do it over your own property or public property, not over someone else's privately owned property. There's no issue I have with people flying drones, just like I have no issue with people having gun buster signs in their business. Similar laws should apply.
  13. Hope the trespass thing works out for him. They could've been scoping out for a future B&E, spying on the girls & now someone strapped a pistol to one, who's to say he didn't do it out of fear of that? I don't understand the obsession with those things, if it was only about flying, they could do it on public or empty property. I would assume that a good portion of these exist for the sole purpose of people being nosey and not for entertainment.
  14.   but the mechanics of that button must work in an organized manner to create the anarchy.
  15. Yeah that's a no bueno.  anything before 6pm on a weeknight within 10 miles of Nashville is crazy.
  16. You're on a gun forum, the way to fix old broken stuff is to shoot it and post a video!

    Mowers

Yeah, cause if not it's like a gun safe, as soon as you buy it, you'll think it's too small. After a few times mowing, I wished I had ended up with a 60 instead of a 50 or 52, whatever mine is.

10 year warranty on the deck? Is that everything attached to the deck or just the shell itself?  Don't know if Husky is playing word games with the warranty stuff, but I would inquire on that - it's quite a long time to warranty anything other than the shell.  If it is the shell, that warranty is just about useless because the other parts are what break.
  20.   Yes, and some places the power company even has linked up to people's HVAC units and they control them as well if they think too much power is going out to residential homes during peak/business hours, they can turn off your A/C or heat to lighten the load.  Next on the list are the appliances; wouldn't want you running the oven more than the allotted times on Thanksgiving or Christmas, now would we?
  21. They emit signals on a few different frequencies or bands, whatever you want to call them. Like it may operate at 1watt on 900 mhz, but then it also pings other meters at 500mw on 70hz and the master may take in signals at 900mhz and 70 hz and then broadcast back at 2.4ghz on 5 watts or something. In my case, the meter is literally a few feet away from my headboard so it could interfere with the implanted recorder as well as the base station that transmits the data every night. You can go with the 'dangerous RF emitter', the 'they're monitoring me' or the 'they're getting more control' argument. Any which way you look at it, it never seems to add up. Here's the reality of it from a NIST publication (used this as a reference for a class earlier in the year) http://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/ir/2014/NIST.IR.7628r1.pdf They list "insurance companies" as being interested in your usage data to determine premiums or whatever. This is just the beginning of the security/privacy concerns that the system introduces into our society. We can't even get our current infrastructure EMP-proof, but we're going to spend billions of dollars to monitor you closer.
  22. Looks like MTEMC started installing smart meters, said they sent out prior notice via mail and phone calls... Obviously not.  They will be returning on Monday to remove mine :)   If you have an implant of some sort, you may want to call them and tell them to skip your place before they put it in.
  23. They're microdrones.  First they fly around and record your habits, next thing you know, you've been classified as an untrainable and the MRAPS will be showing up soon to shuffle you off to the FEMA death camps.
  24. This attack wasn't based from a moral dilemma, it was a bunch of thugs trying to extort money out of a company.  medals?  please.  I don't agree with anything that was going on, on that site but I don't wish them ill.  Same principle with the anti-gunners, I don't sit at the desk twiddling my thumbs hoping someone breaks in their house, ties them all up and robs them of everything at gunpoint.  I just say they're retarded and go about my business.
  25. I actually rented one back in May; paid $135 for the day and was able to remove 24 stumps between 5 houses in the neighborhood, couple of them were some big 36-40" too.   After seeing how cheap it is, I'd definitely recommend renting one and getting with your neighbors to see if they have anything.  Heck, if we split the bill, it would've only cost me about $25 to do 6 stumps.
