Noticed today some of our box shrubs were really green on the tips and had a the beginnings of a bloom. Hope this does screw them up too much.

  I'd guess this was an off duty officer, there's too many mechanics involved in his actions to be a regular dude.  What gave it away to me was how he kept his hands up so they could see them.  That's what a cop would expect of someone. In contrast, you can see the lady is fumbling around and just don't know what to do.   Am just armchair quarterbacking it, but this is why I watch every one of these that pop up on the interwebs, multiple times.  Outside of a home invasion i'd say this would be the second most likely incident any of us would ever be the victim of.

I always like watching these cctv videos of hold ups because they provide a great deal of insight on what happens, what people do that fails, and what people do that succeed.  Can never know enough about them.  This one Is sort of different, you can tell the guy is experienced, when the gun comes out, he doesn't instantly go into attack mode, he calmly hands his wallet over to thug #2, draws and puts thug #1 down since he is the one with the gun.  Checks the situation, again, then goes directly to the guy with the gun.   Well played.   https://www.facebook.com/DailyPolicePhoto/videos/605740622906518/

If you were referring to my post, I didn't mean for it to appear to nitpick your plan. Experiencing the opposite side of the spectrum, I stick with the higher cost plans to minimize catastrophic cosrs.

Glad that you could save, but I learned back in 2011 that no one plans to leave the house in the morning and come back home 4 weeks later with a $500,000 medical bill :)

  I got 188 on that z85 canyon now and don't see any issues with it at all.  bought it a few years ago for $6k or something.  Only reason I would upgrade to a new one is because of the 4 cyl diesel option now to get some more towing power.  Don't like full sized trucks and this 5 cylinder doesn't like to tow more than a couple thousand pounds... That said, I still have issues paying north of $30 for a truck, but if it' a diesel, it should outlast me.

Well, I always said I wouldn't buy new ever again, but the new 4 cylinder diesel colorado/canyon is pretty bad ass.  30mpg, 370tq   Seriously considering trading up.  Or I may just buy a wrecked one at an insurance auction and rebuild it.  The latter sounds better
