1st TN (Knoxville city) speeding ticket...any advice/tips

As long as he only writes passers by and not the voting group, he'll probably stay in office for 40 years. Don't some states limit how much revenue police departments can bring in from tickets? -

It will be, you pay the fine, driving probation (so you don't get points) or whatever they call it and walk out. -
Being a vet isn't a requirement, just understanding there's a difference is key. Or you could also sum it up by saying liberals such as Moms demand xanax and action for gun control, will probably not like this movie.

About the only support I could provide is moral support, but would be more than happy to consume some pizza and supervise :)

1st TN (Knoxville city) speeding ticket...any advice/tips
Sam1 replied to scinmyheart's topic in General Chat
Not that I know of, I have 1 ticket in Knoxville it was 40 in a 30 (actual) and they made me go to court. 100% clean record other than that There was a big news story out of Texas that brought this issue into the light a few years ago. Ended up 4 cops involved, making tons of overtime, I think one committed suicide and the others were fired or something can't remember specifics except the one that offed himself. They were busted by an honest out of town off-duty cop that was written a ticket. -

It's so that police officer can get some overtime pay for having to show up to court. Happens all the time, well known scheme that occurs all over the place. And before anyone says it's cop bashing, I support the cops 99% of the time. Matter of fact we bought a random one and his wife lunch today at pizza perfect just because. -
Don't watch it if you're incapable of understanding that vets really don't give a flying shit what other people think of their language, jokes or actions. If you are one of those people, stay far away. I can't wait to see it.

Nope, it absorbs moisture. Anything that serves a purpose is not clutter.

You are allowed to use anything you want as long as it is not religious or vile in the country you are in. At least those were the rules when I was in. And the vile thing, well... That was overlooked most of the time, because you're on a tank and its entire job is to kill and destroy things, not fix potholes and help kids with their homework.

The stupidity that is Chattanooga's newspaper continues

You end up with deaths related to firearms as low as any country with strict firearms laws. But don't tell anyone that. -
I'm sure he has, that's why the primary question started with should I buy a Ford or Subaru and not GM or Dodge :bowrofl:
-
Edge is a nice ride, can't say anything to the subaru but a coworker had an ecoboost edge and it would haul pretty good. I had a ford escape hybrid for work, drove the hell out of it for 5 years and it never once blinked with an issue & got 30-40 around town and 30+ on the interstate. Between the battery and motor when accelerating, it felt like a strong v6. If I was personally in the market for a small SUV I would pick up a used escape hybrid without hesitation.

More people need to be optimistic like this. Not to downplay the issue, but 20,000 of the 30,000 deaths that involve guns in the USA are suicide. The people that really want to do that, will continue to do so and use other methods like they do in China. Guns are banned there and their suicide rate is nearly double the ratio ours is. Don't count suicides and there will be more people killed in the US by drunk drivers than by a gun. It's a shame the population can't spend 10 minutes to fact check these fucked up statistics that keep being used. -
Yeah, I heard there's a sickness going around, people going to sleep and waking up liberal. Hope you don't catch that on top of the rest of your problems!

back out again - it says: Administrator, your chat room key has expired or someone placed one of those fork locks on it without telling anyone.

I dunno, not going to be critical of the contraption because I sure didn't have the brains to think up of using a fork as a door lock. I find this kind of stuff interesting.
