  1.   My 'friend' is good to go then, his last name is not actually "1".
  2.   Hypothetical question from a 'friend' in Nashville: do nonsensical forum posts and copious amounts of narcissism affect that "reputation"?
  3. Well, you can pop off the A+ in a week of afternoons of practice exams.   Personally on the Microsoft options, I would invest a bit of time in the certifications that I want, or that I know will actually help me instead of getting one just to say you have it.
  4. A+ vouchers will cost $175+/- each   MCSA - need to know what line you are going down.  MCSA for desktops takes 1 exam, for servers it's at least 3.  After you do 1 Microsoft cert, you're considered MCP, so if you will be doing server work, you may want to go that route and ask them if MCP works or just bite the bullet and do all three.
  5. Yeah I would suggest doing line x as well, that would be the cheapest route.
  6. Notice the three cities you mention are extremely densely populated. So all 50 states need to contribute to the benefit of maybe 10 cities' public transportation system? NO THANKS. Want to see how bad Nashville's bus system is on our budget? This is replicated all across the country thousands of times. It generates 16.8 million in revenue and costs 56.8 EXTRA million to operate. Running an annual deficit of $56,800,000 a year for a town in our state. $56,800,000 we are paying in taxes, so a few thousand people can pay a few dollars to ride a bus instead of walk or get a bike or carpool (if you're worried about that horrible 'carbon footprint'). For $56,800,000 we could buy over 11,000 people $5,000 cars per year and they would be contributing a lot more back to society by paying taxes at the pump than a ticket for a bus that is operating on a 300% loss. Not saying I suggest that, but it shows the ludicrousy of the programs. <edited - had to redo my math>
  7.   That was the best performance of that song I've ever heard.  If she done more of her songs like this, she could suck up an entire new group of fans that hates that pop music BS.
  8.   Sort of the same here.  Cool is good, but having the ceiling fan on even when it's warmer seems to work better.  Not sure why the air circulation helps, but it does.
  9. Like Phil Valentine, I would be open for an increase in gas taxes if a single rule was followed and the current taxes were not sufficient.   Put the gas tax back to 100% towards infrastructure that involves highways, roads, bridges etc.  And stop pulling money out for parks, bike paths, or public transportation like subsidies to bus systems that are never profitable and support 0.5% of the population.
  10.   Well, our senators support the idea too.
  11. If you have trouble initially falling asleep, talk to your doc about ambien, that stuff will knock you like a sledge hammer 90% of the time. The one thing I did learn about any of the sleep meds is they work best on an empty stomach, that's about the extent of the experience I can share.
  12. Great idea, wipe out all historical symbols so in 50 years no one remembers what happened and then it repeats itself.   I don't know a single person (know they do exist, I just don't associate with them) that believes that the confederate flag symbolizes slavery.  But I guess the people from California need something to do in between making movies and trying to ban guns.
  13.   I figured if someone is on a scrip for meds, that melatonin had already been tabled.
  14. Had to google that one, was almost sure it was - google-fu came back with it's not but I still wouldn't mess with any antidepressant unless absolutely necessary.  Those things seem to have a bad track record with side-effects.
  15.   Would be a great way to get rid of Voldemort.
  16. Isn't trazodone an ssri?  I wouldn't take any kind of those things without having a specific need for it.
  17. You bring the spirits and pizza, we'll have a TGO meet and figure out how to do it!
  18. Nada here, but I've used about every sleep med on the market.  Lunesta worked great at keeping me asleep, but after a few weeks I could tell there was a huge issue with grogginess the next day.  Use ambien for a really, really long time and it was great at knocking me out but would wake up 4 hours later and need another one (this was low dose stuff, the controlled release may be different).  Started taking alprazolam for my autonomic issues, and turns out one of those before bed zonks me out, so no reason to take an extra med.   There was a new med on the market that supposedly worked extremely well, but there were no generics and with my insurance it was $300~/month copay.  I forget what the name was, it may be in the same class as belsomra, but I can't remember the exact name.   The only way to know what works for you is to test it out.  best deal is take one tonight since it's saturday night, in case you end up being drowsy tomorrow.
  19. I knew the 41P thing was a go, but the 41F was throwing me off.  As far as requiring the prints and pics from 2 years back from the time of implementation makes this crazy rush to get everything submitted sort of irrelevant doesn't it?   And how would they even handle that?  Just contact the people and force us to submit those for record-keeping purposes?  Then does that include everyone on the trust every time something is donated to the trust?  That's going to be a pain in the ass if so.
  20. http://blog.princelaw.com/2016/02/05/important-update-on-implementation-of-atf-41f/   Site says:     Anyone know if this is an actual concern, or if it is a website trying to pull in traffic with irrelevant speculation?
  21.   That's who I'm going to see Monday.  I'm hoping he will be able to blast it on the front of the magwell.
  22. #1 go to walmart and get a bottle of melatonin.  It helps reset your internal clock and gets rid of jet lag.  I used to fly a lot, often going into time zones that were 12 hours difference from here (worst possible scenario for jet lag) and it dramatically reduces the time to adjust going back and forth.   #2 have fun   <edited> #3 http://www.seatguru.com/ go there and find the best seats available before booking your tickets.  The same model of planes have different layouts depending on the company, so don't just look for seat abc123 on them - there are some pretty decent differences in seats without having to upgrade (I'm cheap).
  23. That is literally half a million dollars.
  24. You want an auto mp5, the auto sears sell for $30,000 & good luck finding one.   No exaggeration.  I was hoping to get a fun button too before ordering that mp5, then after searching for about 20 minutes I just said F that.
  25. it's an mp5, if the engraving is messed up I'll spray paint over it and put it in another spot. :)
