  1.   I wrecked and almost died at 15-20mph.  If crap is going to happen, it is just going to happen. TDOT signs said last year or year before that 35% of crashes involve speeding, which means that you have a 65% chance of getting into an accident due to something else. :)
  2.   Obviously you don't want to do dumb things like post your BD/SS/address in the open, but honestly, what do you think that Google doesn't already have stored on you, that you have done on that phone?  There's a website you can log into and track your phone's historical geomapping data, and more than likely your contacts are stored on your Google account, or backed up on theirs or your carrier's servers.   People often worry about the wrong things when it comes to privacy and security. A perfect example was years back when the general population learned about the word "cookies" all of a sudden they were terrible.  After people learned what they actually were and could do, you don't hear about them much any longer except when people clear their browser cache during a cleanup.
  3. Dangit, they should have to give you a refund if they take more than 90 days.  I've had this dang thing for 5 months and haven't been able to go shooting, that should be illegal.
  4. People worry too much about that stuff.  Everything you do or have done is already being recorded and stored, whether you agree to it or not.
  5. But 10% of $700,000 year for no work other than signing a document is still $70k/year more than they started with.
  6. If you do decide to go to court, isn't the status quo to challenge it and make the company send someone in to represent the device?  That way it runs up the bill for the company.   Everyone needs to do that if you were to actually pay it.   The easiest solution is just run Waze on your phone, you'll get an alert when you get near something.
  7. That won't work, she's got a gun.
  8.   +1 to this.   I can do very little other than hobble around or ride a stationary bike on 0 resistance.  portions are what get us.  during my accident I was at 200-205 or so, down to 180 and haven't done anything except the way I eat.  Still eat most of the same stuff, just two tacos from taco bell now instead of 3 or 4.  Pretty easy.
  9. They can ban them, the cities will always fight it because they bring in so much money.  The law probably says no "new" traffic cameras, so they are buying used ones from other cities and installing them.
  10.   The funniest thing about the whole Jackson thing is he dismantled the main bank, then the treasury puts him on the $20  :bowrofl:
  11. Good luck on your venture. If you need a great tool to help you get started, I hear crystal meth helps :)
  12. isn't the lemon law 30 days cumulatively?  I wouldn't contact them and let the days rack up then call  lawyer.
  13.   +1    I'd ask them if you get a discount on membership for the illicit brass exchange you were involuntarily subjected to.
  14. $2500 is a good start I guess..? Yes, your assumption is correct, they want you to buy more. Check with your homeowners for a rider, they may be as or cheaper than that stuff.
  15. And hes the reason there are stickers on a lawnmower that say "Do not stick fingers under running lawnmower"
  16. I think I seen something on Bar Rescue one time where they made some bacon drinks.  let me google it.....   http://www.nightclub.com/bar-rescue/bar-rescue/bacon-bar-recipes   I think there are more than this, a more in-depth google-fu should yield better results.
  17. could you compare the single barrel to the hand barrel select Dickel? (the 100 proof stuff)
  18. Was it any good?
  19.   Getting closer on mine then hopefully; submitted shortly after yours.
  20. Looked awesome for about 12 months. And 18 months after application:
  21. Not sure why people lie about that stuff, I know plenty of non-vets that know more about firearms than vets do.
  22. DO NOT USE RUSTOLEUM. I'll post before and 18 month later pictures for you tomorrow on why you should not buy that garbage.  Not only did it not stick to 50% of a prepped deck, as it bubbled off, it doesn't let the boards breath well, holding in water, causing them to rot.  Then, when it doesn't work, you basically have to replace the entire deck to get it off completely. And yes, it was applied properly, I took nearly a week to completely redo the deck (sort of large).  The only decent thing that happened was Rustoleum sent me a refund check so I wasn't out $350.  But now the deck surface boards need to be replaced.  It's garbage.
  23.   Stolen Valor picked it up and are looking into it, if there's any legitimacy to the accusations they will find out and turn it over.
  24. Lying about service to benefit from IS stolen valor.
  25. Yet another situation that could be fixed with a TGO meet and free booze.
