It's because a lot of these companies have went from selling CA compliant engines in CA only, to making their entire product line CA compliant. Almost all the small engine anything now is garbage because of those stupid restrictions.

found one called resqme that is pretty cheap and has a seatbelt cutter built in. think I'll order a couple of them.

I only use Jonsered - it's an offshoot of Husqvarna. Stihl's are ok, but I look at a few different things when buying: power to weight ratio general power output chain speed Jonsered usually beats everyone on chain speed out of the box. Never once had an issue with the two I've owned, the only reason I have owned two is because I sold the first one many moons ago (thinking I wouldn't need one before moving to Nashville) and had to buy a replacement a few years ago.

They apparently wanted to jump in the political arena and support BLM after the police were murdered. I deleted my account this morning.

Spanish cop saving a dog locked in a hot car... Has something in one hand, puts it against the glass and it shatters the window. anyone know what that thing is? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7d1_1467914989

That's the dog using that house? LOL Thing is going to have enough room to run laps inside of it.

I just found this threat to be false. The latest time that the Purge is happening in Nashville tonight is at 11:30pm

Word on the street is that they are all gathering up in Fairview before heading out. They will be meeting in my neighborhood and to get into the meeting you have to bring an expensive bottle of spirits and either fresh salmon, or steaks. PM me for details.

tis gone.

yeah it's actually big enough for someone to get in.

google fiber is destroying AT&T fiber downtown. AT&T wouldn't let them run along with them, so they are tunneling all over the city without mapping and cutting AT&T lines on a regular basis. The guys repairing the AT&T lines are loving the $$$.

I just switched to the 110/month a few weeks ago without signing a contract, but the service is great so I'm going to go ahead and sign on the two year agreement just to play it safe cause they are known to jack up prices occasionally.. The 300mb internet is fantastic. That, the discovery/history channel and fox news HD is all I really cared about. You can't beat the price.

Neighbor has a nice looking log dog house he wants to give away. It's pretty big, maybe 6' x 4' -5' deep. Even has spray foam between the logs to seal it up completely. It is missing one porch post, but that would be a 5 minute fix. He picked it up to get the aluminum off the roof and was going to trash it, but said it was too nice to destroy just for that. He said it weighs about 300 pounds. If anyone is interested let me know.

best advice for gear I ever got was, spend as much money on gear as you think that body part is worth.
-
If it's just superficial damage at the trunk, I'd bet it's the no rain part... but you grass looks pretty green around the area though which is confusing.
-
the recent heat wave/ lack of rain may have exacerbated previous damage. can't tell from the pics exactly, is the wood rotted/soft around where the bark is cracked?

That's a nice looking bike, don't think I would change a single thing on it.

As the others said, be careful. the most dangerous thing on the roads are other people pulling out in front of you, not paying attention to you. The other things is a saying "dress for the slide, not the ride". Guy that wrecked near me when I went over the cliff didn't have sufficient gear, he ran into a ditch at 15mph, I slid over a 60 foot cliff. I am alive, he is not. Hope that can express how important proper safety gear is.

Sounds like a competition is in order. Free cleanings for everyone on the forum, half go to you, half go to gr8smiles. We will vote in December. Everyone except gr8smiles and mrsmonkeyman can thank me later.

+1 for gr8smiles and his son. Switched to them 2 years ago and never looked back.

I don't mind to do basic handyman stuff, but windows is something I don't want to mess with. Anyways, the windows are nice double pane vinyl, but the wood underneath a couple of them is rotting out (covered by aluminum flashing). Am thinking the windows may be removed and the rotted wood on the house replaced and the windows popped back in. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this? I googled some stuff and it showed people packing in bondo and some other redneck stuff, but I prefer to get it fixed properly and I don't want to do it. If this is possible, anyone have recommendations for a licensed contractor that can do it around Nashville? I don't think the big shops like pella or whoever would do anything unless you're buying new windows, which I don't need. any info is appreciated.

wonder if they destroyed the $250,000 in cash to send a message too?

This is supposedly different than .45 super primarily from the chamber pressure. .45 super is rated at 28,000. .45 +p is 23,000. the doubletap .450 smc is supposed to be around 25,000 but also has more brass than a .45 super which helps a bit more. There's not a lot of specifics on this, one site said it actually uses pretty much a cut down .308 case. going to ask them to verify chamber pressure on their loads when i order.

So doubletap is now selling .450 SMC. Had never heard of this round until recently... Gonna pick up a few boxes and see what it is like. Works in a standard .45 ACP gun that can handle +P ammo. Puts the .45 in 10mm power territory. Guess I missed the memo on this ammo, it looks pretty hardcore, especially that 185gr round.
