    Beater AR

Warms up the sight on cold operator mornings.

    Beater AR

Adams Arms - was the cheapest piston gun I could find that seemed decent. Don't much care for the high twist rate, but this isn't going to be used for precision shooting either.

    Beater AR

Figured I would pick up a beater piston AR (looking at getting into 3 gun sometime soon). Decent deal from royal range, not much more than it would cost online and a lot less hassle. I just can't figure out why they would install the reflex site mount so far down the barrel.
  4. Just an observation, but warranties, guarantees etc... those things have a lot of laws regulating them. If I was that shop, I don't think I would be getting into the "warranty" business for any reason.
  5. Noticed some stations are already onboard with the price hikes, went up 30 cents overnight.
  6. AH! everyone run out and fill up your coke bottles with gas again and cause a self-induced gas shortage!!!!! This one will be much worse because the media seen how much they could milk the last one.
  7. She will be disappointed. His acting was on par with Keanu Reeves in the Matrix. He's a great actor, but not a magician... Can only shine a turd so much.
  8. For those of you who liked the DaVinci Code books, movies, or whatever... Don't waste your money on Inferno. I won't ruin it with a spoiler, but here's an honest review: A few edgy spots in the first hour of the movie, not as much into the puzzle stuff as the first movies. Then BAM there was a plot twist, a major one out of nowhere that was supposed to be OMG WTF, but was instead.. Good lord that just ruined the entire movie kind of plot twist. The best part of the movie was when I dozed off for 5 or 10 minutes in the theater. Was a comfy chair. Save your money.
  9. I'm just saying what every single person on here is thinking. Stuff really gets under my skin... We (law abiding people) get hammered with gun laws, and just like Greg said, these criminals steal ####ing guns and ruin someone's store/livelihood and get off with slaps on the wrist if they ever are even caught with stolen firearms in tow.
  10. Can they be exploding bollards?
  11. I wish they were allowed to install claymores so when the bars break the only thing left behind is corn beef hash packaged inside their stolen cars.
  12. Would get in trouble for saying what I hope actually happens to these thieves, so I will replace that with a simple "I hope they catch them"
  13. If they shut down, guess I'll just start hosting my own pics. Not messing with photobucket again.
  14. Upgrading the reloading setup. Pretty much this exact setup with a few additional goodies Basically the whole setup is being refreshed.

    Panic Buying?

I sold my ar10 pmags for $70 each. A bunch of them <edit> ... forgot to say, I bought them all back for $15 a while later
  17. Dang that's pretty good, the only thing I ever done was bought a round trip plane ticket from Spain to Brazil while I was in KY.
  18. +1 watched it last week. Never heard of it, but I'm sure there are thousands more stories like these that we have not/nor will ever hear about. It reminded me of Benghazi, unfortunately.
  19. yep, someone could have stolen his identity and they tried to have them sent to a different address but it defaulted to his actual address instead. He needs to do a credit check on himself and file a report. Even if there was little to no harm to him, the tip could lead to catching the ####ing scum who are stealing other peoples' identities.
  20. The trigger breaks well on the newer model, but it's still... a factory trigger up to that point. Up in the air about putting one on this or not, don't think I'll be shooting it enough to warrant the $. The MP5 is getting a freaking beating though lol! Had the paperwork for that thing for about 6 months now and it is seeing 1000-2000 rounds per month since then. About time to start buying spare parts for it. Even though this thread is about a tavor, if you don't have an MP5, you need to go get one. Forget this thing
  21. ebay pricing is normally $15.9x on the lifestraw w/free shipping and the lifestraw go is about $10 cheaper on there.
  22. Anyone use one of the automatic systems for a reloader? if so what model of drive and loader do you use? Not looking for the $10k automatic loaders, more around the $3-4k mark total cost. I've got a manual one now that works great, but would like to have an automatic system to avoid the lever pulling (have a pin through my elbow holding tendons together and want to reduce wear and tear).

    Panic Buying?
