  1. yeah I could shoot it, it's at royal range in the depths of their vault. But I don't want to make them dig it out just so I can put it on and then have to wear hearing protection anyways. It will be like SBRing the mp5, didn't fire a single round from it for 5~ months in pistol form, then went bananas after the stamp came in. Same deal with the can.
  2. 231 days? This makes me sad... if it stays like this I won't see mine until Feb
  3. Does it explode if you shoot it? Do you have a video camera? TGO wants to know.
  4. Send your info to the coordinator. He she will send you a name. Dig around on the forum to try and figure out what the person is into, buy them something and ship it. Most people spend $25-50. Or make them something if you're handy, some people do that. I think the fun part is trying to figure out what the person can use without them finding out who you are.
  5. The big question that needs to be asked is.. who gets the used socks this year?
  6. Yeah, the biggest tarpon I caught was probably 5 pounds heavier than this thing and it didn't put up 50% of the fight. Might come back down in a few months and go offshore for tuna/sailfish (only a mile off the coast) when they migrate in. First time to PR, rather cool (and really cheap). Went to the cockfights (cause that's what single guys do out of town) last night, and that's some brutal stuff. Best part was the guy running out with the dustbuster to suck up chicken parts off the mat after a match, or possibly the guy sitting next to the birds fighting, eating chicken nuggets... Probably had the freshest chicken nuggets in the world in there.
  7. On straight line with no wire leads. Was fishing for tarpon, but the barracuda were hitting the bait literally as soon as it splashed. This was the biggest one, bit through the line as it was coming up and just happened to land in the boat so it counts. Pay no attention to the hat, it was the cheapest one I could find on the way to the marina lol
  8. In as usual
  9. It's a bad place. You almost always leave with a gun Hell, when I was working on an extraction op to save this pistol, they were talking about someone bringing in an m134 minigun for a shoot .. WTF now I want to buy $500 worth of .308 to pull a trigger for 2 seconds on something.
  10. May be a while, have a feeling the gun will out shoot me for some time to come. Just glad I was able to save it from a life as a rental gun at royal range, it was depressing looking at it in that section of their case.
  11. Appears to be, was told this has some kind of an audible clicker on trigger reset that the normal one doesn't have. Holding assumptions until I can reach Casey. Feels about the same as the trigger Calhoun put on my 1911, 1/8 travel, 2ish pounds maybe. Can't wait to get back and try it.
  12. Yep. Someone needs to get on that. Between nick and "the kahr" you two should be able to handle it!
  13. Fairy dust, bacon, and America! Supposedly some stuff inside that you can't even buy, I need to reach out to the previous owner to get specifics.
  14. There is when it's cleaning time.
  15. Guy at royal range said they we're coming in and buying 5 lowers at a time before the election. should be a lot of stuff pretty cheap when people need Christmas present money... I'll be here to help with that
  16. Pffft please! ANY gun is for me (except Glocks and Mosins) Gear on the other hand - I have none of nor do I plan on buying any until I figure out this stuff. Just need a new hobby, this is much cheaper and safer than getting another motorcycle.
  17. Thanks, will do.
  18. Completely unexpected, ran into this thing today. viola.
  19. why is everyone worried about having extra stuff? keep it, it's not going to expire on the shelf or anything.
  20. Now you need to buy in celebration! Continue on with the shenanigans!
  21. There is no NCGO, just hang around here. Besides people from TN are smarterer anyways.
  22. Thanks, tonight being election night you know we need in there!
  23. Anyone have some good sources of info for someone just looking to get into competitive shooting? It's a whole new beast as compared to military training so I am looking for stuff at the idiot level. Thinking about getting into 3 gun, definitely doing pistol sometime soon just to become more proficient, but the three gun really interests me because I haven't even touched a shotgun in probably 2 decades... Gives me a reason to buy another gun
  24. No bueno on the chat. Can't see who is posting in the actual chatroom, just greyed out figures. Would be cool if the little messenger thing stayed around, but the chat button in the navigation bar would be better defaulted to a generic single chatroom to funnel everyone in the same place (and lists the posters' names instead of the pic). Another issue is with (on Mac, using Chrome) when you open up the chat box, even if it is subsequently closed, you lose the ability to scroll the page up and down via keyboard and/or mouse. You have to refresh the page to regain scroll functionality.
