  1. Neither did I, until this happened!
  2. This should not be taken lightly, clearly the sign being torn down is a race based hate crime.
  3. That's all it was, a lot of times we don't look at the links before posting. Have to give kudos to the dog though, he took that grenade in the mouth like a champ! lol
  4. I think that went out the window when media manipulation started running rampant
  5. One of the guy's at work gave me a copy yesterday, it is an easy read, got through a lot of it already. I wasn't expecting it to be secret or anything because it would've never made it on the shelves if there was anything restricted in it. When you perform certain actions in the military, you're required to sign the treason documents, I'm sure the SEALs go well above and beyond what they require normal soldiers to sign and hell they threatened us with getting a possible death sentence if anything was said about it before a 50 year time period has passed. What we were involved in was nothing more than you can learn on the history channel, so I can only imagine that with the types of work the SEALs do, they would not play games with this guy if there was risky information in the book. From what I gather, the reason for this book is his frustration with a political view and it is the only way he feels he can affect the situation. I would say if you really want to know who this guy is, wait a few years and look for a retired SEAL running for office.
  6. I looked them up again and they have changed massively since I got mine years ago. Mine was a non-hd gopro, that's why the contours looked so much better, but that new hd hero looks darn good! Found this: http://www.eyeofmine.com/gopro/hd/prof/index.html about halfway down they compare the gopro to a $4000+ camera (obviously the real camera does many more things, but just for basic shooting that gopro gives it a run for the money)
  7. Fantastic little devices, some people like the Contour a little better, but the GoPro in its case is near bulletproof. We mounted mine on a dirt track late model and it wrecked twice pretty hard and the thing never even budged. When it was mounted on the motorcycle, the sound levels were really low, except when it was vibrating at a certain speed then you got a terribly loud noise. What are you going to be using it for? If you're looking for the highest quality and it's not going to get banged around too much, I'd also consider that Contour instead. For ruggedness, without question go with a GoPro
  8. too slow with this post, Jonnin beat me to it lol
  9. Disdain for the current situation is much worse than it was when Bush left. I think after the debates everyone will get with the program and see the need for them to vote.
  10. Is Zimmerman expected to let someone take possession of his weapon, then politely ask for it back before defending himself? Maybe there was no blood on it because he had his hand covering the darn thing.
  11. lol!
  12. Am more curious if he shot it with broadheads and couldn't understand why they stuck in
  13. have to dry fire all of mine to get the slides off
  14. He must've been watching those world is ending, dollar is collapsing buy precious metals videos from ArmyVet on here Looks like it worked out pretty well for him because someone else gets to spend his money now
  15. Does everyone not check the chamber a couple of times minimum before cleaning guns? On a semi I check it, rack it a couple of times and check it again before dry firing. Sometimes I'll lock it back and shine a light down the tip... Obsessive, maybe, but I've also never shot myself. I just can't understand why people would not want to take an extra 15 seconds and check.
  16. I go against some people by saying that we need assistance programs but they should be on a temporary basis only, ZERO EXCEPTIONS. Here's a bit of my breakdown: If you drop out of high school weeks before your graduation, to be eligible for welfare then they should make it a 12 month wait where you get not a single benefit. If after the 12 months, you claim you are still inept, then you start working general labor jobs for the state/local government with no benefits at minimum wage. If you get pregnant, there are 2 years of WIC or other support. Once that runs out, if you are not able to provide for the child, social services steps in with planning. This is a one time deal, you get pregnant again and you get a swift kick on the ass and no check in the mail. If you become disabled, you should get a whole lotta nothing if you haven't paid into the system. If you have paid in, then funding should go for retraining in sedentary career fields or something the person is able to handle. There are a bunch of us on here that have become disabled and that just means we work harder to prove we can still do the work we were able to do prior to the incident. Gov. needs to get out of the student loan market (not talking about grants), I have dealt with various private lenders since 2005 and the paperwork was easy to complete and submit. Recently I just started back on my way to a PhD (in IT field) and the amount of paperwork required and the speed (or lack thereof) of getting anything finished is ludicrous. Cant' say much about the grants because I get too pissed off. The fact that I could get grants for saying I am African American, and wouldn't be eligible for any of those if the caucasian box was checked is just Grants should be based on previous performance and nothing else. Put these bums that are capable of working to work making license plates, moving, picking up trash and cleaning our government buildings. If they want to eat, they will start working... I find it absolutely reprehensible that we make it so easy for generational welfare (of any kind) to be acquired and at the same time, a poor person that is down on their luck and has worked all of their life, is almost ineligible to receive any benefits. Gonna stop now, it's too early to get fired up!
  17. All we need to do is airdrop POTUS there personally and he can take out all the bad guys just like he did with Bin Laden. You guys are all looking at solutions from the wrong perspective
  18. Seen this pop up on Drudge and it aises a very interesting point. http://www.breitbart...Islam-Filmmaker If the white house is so disgusted with this youtube video, I wonder what the official stance is on Bill Maher's movie that he made a few years back, where the entire movie mocks Christianity as well as Islam and references many religions. After all, he did make a substantial donation to the campaign. I think this accusation of "shoot first and aim later" needs to be changed to "oh darnit, I just shot myself in the foot...... again"
  19. What would be funny is if the people start taking out the secondary cameras and leave the main ones alone now.
  20. While we have a few Taurus' I wouldn't use them for a carry because of the triggers. The new G2 models may be much better, but we only have the older ones so I can't say how the new ones are. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  21. Seals, contractors, marines or air force rent-a-cops, doesn't matter to me.... they're all there to protect sovereign American soil.
  22. Heard about this earlier, completely disgusting situation. Don't even know what to say about it anymore
  23. I was a little bit pissed before, but now I am absolutely disgusted at this. Those Marines were not allowed to have live ammunition. The politicians that implemented that policy should have to drive themselves to these Marines' families and explain to them in person why their sons are now dead. Can't do much from this end, but I think it's time to fire up Word and send some nastygrams to the usual offices.
  24. Maybe we should just invite them all over for dinner and apologize for being ####ing awesome?
  25. The only thing that should be fired up is a fleet of b52's on the way to carpet bomb the place.
