  1. me likes! I've been using one of those DeSantis Cozy Partner's, and it is comfy when standing up or walking, but does get a bit uncomfortable on a long drive. It would be nice if they had slip over clips instead of snaps so you could just pop it off when you get in the car.
  2. True story! One of my coworkers got 2 tickets in the same day... he found out about them when he got the citations in the mail about a week after. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  3. If you have a radar detector, does it set it off? If it's not a speed camera, the only thing I can think of is that it's one of those skywatch systems.
  4. I think it's because Washington DC is now considering doing a big soda ban so he has to one-up them. And just as Jason said, this guy will go broke before he accomplishes this goal, so I say bring it on
  5. We had the roadside assistance with State Farm for I think it was $2 or $3/month. A couple of months ago I was driving down the Cumberland Parkway in KY and the gas gauge said 70 miles 'til empty and 1/8 tank left. When the Warning light came on at 50 miles, the car's computer said "fuel computer system error" the gas gauge dropped to empty and about 1/2 mile later it was sputtering out of fuel in the middle of nowhere. Called State Farm, they wouldn't help me find a service to bring gas, they said I was basically on my own and that I could submit the receipt and get refunded up to $50 of the charge. Had no data service on the phone so I had to call 911 just to get a number of someone to call. It was a major hassle and that $80 gallon of gas would've paid for AAA by itself.
  6. Rarely do these stories work out this well; kudos to the mom as well for being able to think clearly knowing your child was in a very dangerous situation. The only difference in our house is that I would want our 12 year old to be moving through the house performing room clearing procedures with a machine gun
  7. This is the part I despise the most. In here testimony/falsimony she tried to use the rape of a woman (just ignore the cancer references) to further her cause with that Law Students for Reproductive Justice group she works for. Am not a woman, but would guess that if a woman is raped, worrying about what your health insurance covers would be the last friggin' thing on your mind.
  8. Sandra Fluke finally fizzled out. I guess even her own party is tired of her BS lies... Condoms are free everywhere, birth control pills cost $10 without insurance at some pharmacies and not having sex is also free. She was spending more in tuition than many families make in a year and telling you she can't afford a couple bucks per year. She gave a speech outside of a "Sak 'N Save" in Reno and a total of 10 people showed up. My guess is that it was her, 6 reporters and 3 people walking into the store. http://www.rgj.com/a...nter-stage-Reno Just go away!
  9. You ever notice that disgruntled gun shop employees never come back to shoot up the place? Cause they know they wouldn't get very far unless it was on a medic's cart. Maybe the solution is that every business needs to be required to sell guns Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  10. That guy needed a tongue punch with a buttstock
  11. Fox said they were expecting the body to be the shooter's
  12. Looks like a win for the home team! Good for her http://www.news9.com/story/19858704/12-year-old-girl-shoots-intruder-during-home-invasion
  13. +1, you're going to have multiple plugs on the same circuit and as TMF said, if a GFI is tripped anywhere on that circuit the entire line goes cold.
  14. I hope the police get this guy quick and make an example of him. Then when the politicians try to gain from this, the people of the state make an example of them.
  15. The only story that would surprise me coming out of Detroit these days would be if someone said the crime rate was falling.
  16. Am looking to get a shoulder holster for when I'm wearing a suit, and never really looked into them before. Does anyone have suggestions on one for a G32? The IWB will not work and when using a normal holster it shows when the jacket is unbuttoned. Don't really have a preference on material, would like to have a magazine pouch, but it is not a deal breaker. Cost is also not an issue as long as it is worth the money.
  17. Will follow that up with a "training accident" - don't much care to talk about Bosnia/Macedonia, cause even though people were getting shot and stepping on mines, it was never considered a war. Back in '97-98 sometime, doing a convoy in Korea either late at night or early in the morning (no idea, it was just dark) down the streets and some drunk guy drove head on into the tank in front of us. Turned his car into a convertible, mushed the steering column into the guy's chest. He was a goner'... But our brilliant company commander didn't want to have a death listed on his watch so they wanted to say he was alive when he was thrown in the ambulance. This moron had soldiers with tanker's bars (about a 6 foot long pry bar) jamming it into the dead guy's torso to try and pry the steering wheel out of him so they could put him on a stretcher. Not sure what the difference was if he was pronounced dead in the car or in the ambulance, but they sure as hell worked hard to get him out of that mangled up mess and in the meat wagon. It may be hard to detect from that statement, but I don't really have compassion for drunk drivers.
  18. +1, especially the old WWII and Korean War stories. Those guys had testes made of titanium!
  19. <resurrecting> Started carrying my G32; picked up some double tap 125 gr. The cavity would be pretty much impossible to clog from the shape of the round, so summer or winter, bathing suit or carhartt coveralls I think they'll do the job.
  20. At first glance, I swore your post said "Liam Neeson" haha!

    AWB part II

Sweet baby Jesus - grab your guns, bibles and mountain dew, let's head to the hills!
  22. Good point, completely forgot that a person's race affects innocence or guilt. If the man with the gun was a minority, he was clearly defending his own life. If the man with a knife was a minority, clearly the gun toting redneck was a racist and committed a hate crime. If both are minorities, it will be written off as an accident.
  23. really depends on what actually happened, if the guy showed his gun first it would be a different story. if the knife guy started it, it was justified.
  24. The companies just don't invest into internet marketing like they used to. Most of google's revenue iirc, comes from adwords, and the cpc bid amounts have gone down drastically as well. Back in 2006-2007 I was brining in anywhere from $2k-$3k/month on adsense from a couple of websites and forums. Now I've doubled the number of sites and make roughly 10% of that number. Once Google started tracking ctr's and other metrics to provide very specific marketing options, the customers learned that things aren't as rosey as initially thought. My prediction is that google will soon be turning their home page into a portal like bing, yahoo etc to fill in the expanding gap.
  25. Someone should dress up as priests and throw IED's in the crowd of them while screaming "Praise God for these IED's!"
