1.
It was directed specifically as Sam1, your post crept in while I was typing. I was under the impression that we had come to an understanding on where we were each coming from. If you want to include yourself in that group, feel free. No sweat off my nose, we have radically different worldviews that only occasionally appear superficially similar.
Yes we both understand the other side, nothing wrong with discussing things... even getting into a heated debate. This is one of the few places where people usually remain civil even when arguing their fundamentals.
 2. Even the dog is is questioning his manhood !
 3.
Whenever you vote your conscience you are not throwing the vote away, no matter how impossible it is for your chosen candidate to win.
It's like having $10,000 in your pocket, riding a bicycle to the car lot and trying to buy a Ferrari. When they say you can't have a Ferrari for that much, but here's a new Z06 Corvette, you say no thanks, hop back on your bicycle and ride off.
 4.
So what you are saying is that want an enforced duopoly with only the approved parties allowed on the ballot? Hrmm, ok.
Nope, what I'm saying is the same exact thing Rand Paul was saying for weeks before the election. This same issue is going to happen next election, and the one after there will be candidates that will be lucky to get 1% of the vote, everyone that votes for them knows this and they still throw away the vote.
 5. I'm not blaming Romney's loss on anyone (reread the post); had to listen for months from people screaming about the third party candidates and now we have the data showing how the refusal to compromise can affect an election. If you sort through the senate races, there are a good number of third party votes that also exceeded the variation between the Rep. and Dem. candidates.
 6.
I am guessing those working got stuck in traffic on their way home.
They should hold elections on the 28th, so the first of the month post office vampires would be low on gas money.
 7. Couple of other states were extremely close if there would've been no third party candidates on the ballot. It's a shame so many of them refused to bend on any of their principles and held out... In the words of Rand Paul
The way I look at it is if you want the perfect candidate, the candidate that agrees with you 100% of the time, the only one is if you run yourself. So if you’re not actually running, you have to make a little bit of compromise with who you’re going to support.
8. My work truck has that ford sync system in it and thanks to it, haven't used a BT headset in about two years now. May still have a couple of them, if I can locate them, you're more than welcome to one so you don't have to spend any $. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
 9. Am going to bed before this causes an aneurysm
 10. yeah, fox has him up by 20k votes now
 11. Thanks, that link has everything on the fron page, no clicking through to find the lower level elections
 12. One of my family members just posted this on their wall... This is no joke

 14.
Downtown Chattanooga, walking through the elevated walkway from my office building to the parking garage, I saw a young man wearing the popular "pants on the ground" style.
Lol brings back memories of this guy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoAMWnnz98w
 15. This is the one we used - isbn: 0538478977 http://www.textbooks.com/Successful-Project-Management---With-DVD-5th-Edition/9780538478977/Jack-Gido-and-James-P-Clements.php?CSID=AQTOC3WDCZ2CMUDUC2AA22CQS It's not an exam prep book, but it was awesome at explaining everything.
 16. That guy is a tool, obviously he was doing it to stir up ####. That's like licking a plugged in electric cord and suing the power company because you got shocked.
 17. Oh man you are kidding me!!! I just took all of my PMP books to McKay's in Nashville yesterday afternoon, barely got anything for them, would've much rather given them to someone. Never did take the actual PMP, but our final replicated what the actual exam was supposed to be like and the PMBOK was good for technical knowledge, but the other one we had was better at explaining the methods in an easier to understand format. No idea what the book was, but will send an email to one of my classmates and see if they have the name/isbn of it.
 18. Wow that guy is amazing, just read one of his posts that he painted the tip of that ak-47 "pistol" red so it looked like a toy gun and no one would shoot at him. And that he wanted to carry it around as a defensive weapon with extra magazines. Can anyone give a short run-down on what exactly that case is trying to accomplish that is being sent to the supreme court? I can't understand exactly what it's about
 19.
not sure why I should care about profit metrics of a tv channel.
Because you're knocking on us for saying we weren't watching it last night, and by not watching it, we were affecting the only aspect that matters to the networks. We don't agree with the intent, people and timing of the movie so why would we watch it at a specific time on a network that will show their exploitative tactics worked? They track viewers on tv, that's how they know what works and what doesn't. Watching the show (helping them get better stats) only encourages the same type of action again
 20.
again I ask what difference does it make about some TV ratings. Does you watching or me not watching add to the vote total? Don't watch certain channels? LMAO. yeah last time I looked watching MTV added two voted to Obamas TN vote total. Are you freaking kidding me? Oh and as much as I might want too, I won't watch this before Tuesday, but afterwards it will be OK. You all are killing me
Those of us who are not watching it are doing so because of who funded the movie, its purpose, and the timing of it. We are not supporting it because they keep track of these things, and if it is a hit, then expect to see plenty more of these political ventures. The movie itself is politically motivated, Wienstien's people said so from the beginning, then when it was announced that it would be on TV instead of theaters, those statements were retracted. & this movie isn't going to make people run out to the polls and pull the lever for someone they were not planning on doing it for last week. Am not sure what is hard to understand about the profit metrics of a TV channel.
 21.
Maybe I’m slow, but I’m lost on the Obama/election connection or how the National Geographic Channel is playing politics. This was a terrorist we had been trying to capture or kill for 10 years. The CIA and the Military (I assume) located him and sent Seal Team Six to kill him. I’m curious how it went down and I highly respect the men that did it. Trust me… if Obama pops his head in during the program and says “I did this by myself, vote for me on Tuesday.” I’ll know he is lying.
The movie is by Wienstein which should be enough by itself. The spec ops people are against this because it takes classified information and couples it with the pro-current administration theme behind it. Operation Security is so upset over it, that they have bought air time for commercials during the movie to voice the truth. Here's another little tidbit from the situation:
[background=transparent]But it seems some political aspects of the movie were too much for the National Geographic Channel, which had a scene depicting GOP nominee Mitt Romney appearing to oppose the raid removed from the final cut, the Times reports.[/background] [background=transparent]“We were trying to use news footage that gave some context as to who was in favor and who was against (the raid),” Stockwell explained, adding that the axed footage of Romney was from a 2007 primary, four years before the raid took place.[/background]
22. We got major issues all the way around, and have for years. After your incident with Katrina, you would think that something would've been fixed by now, yet: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/dailypolitics/2012/11/cuomo-order-makes-it-easier-for-water-to-reach-needy-new-yorkers First sentence from that story is
Gov. Cuomo issued an executive order making it easier for companies to donate drinking water to New Yorkers still struggling with the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
Why was this even necessary? We've over-regulated ourselves to the point where we cannot even think without submitting a request form and having it reviewed by a panel.
 23.
Kinda hard to do that with the National Guard deployed.
Now only if they were allowed to go in with more than an MRE and flashlight, everything would be all fine and dandy
 24.
How’s that work? I don’t watch any live TV; I DVR everything I watch. Millions of people are going to either DVR or watch this. Does everyone that DVR’s it count as a hit? If so, how could this not be a smash hit?
Not sure if the DVR is considered a view or not, but as you suspect I'm sure this thing will have millions and millions of viewers, I'm just not going to be one of them. Will probably just catch it on-demand during the week some time
 25.
At least Bloomberg is protecting us... http://newsbusters.o...-their-possessi
This guy's ego is costing a lot of people their well-being.
