1. If you're concerned with excess clothing stopping a bullet, carry a .500 S&W during the winter months. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
2. I think we're going to go for the 65" led, it's right at the price range, the brand we have and trust and size is bigger than we thought we could get for this price. Thanks everyone
3. The tv that walmart has for $688 on black friday, is $899 at tigerdirect http://www.tigerdire...6445&CatId=3830 Anyone know if it is worth $950? The walmart one would be $750 after taxes and that is if you want to deal with the crowd and can even get one. <edit> Think I found one! http://www.samsclub.com/sams/65-vizio-led-1080p-120hz-smart-hdtv/prod7870078.ip?sprodId=prod7870078&searchTerm=538591&_requestid=244927#desc 65" vizio led for $1000
4.
Best Buy's Deal of the Day for today (11/20/12) is a 60" Sharp TV. http://www.bestbuy.c...&ref=167&loc=02 for $699.
dang sold out.
5. TY Mike, we'll push it on up the chain. @ peejman, we have to wait until January before we can file that. It's supposed to be 90 days before your conditional status expires.
6. Wife went up to the DMV today to apply for her HCP, and they told her she was ineligible because she was a conditional permanent resident (she does have a green card). We were under the impression that a green card holder, was able to get the HCP, without regard to the conditional status. Does anyone know if this is the actual law, or a case of uninformed DMV workers? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
7.
Good idea. I was able to view some posts and get an idea but that can be difficult if someone posts a lot or not enough
Think that is part of the fun of it, having a small budget and no idea what the person actually likes can make for some interesting gifts
8.
So, when's everyone planning on shipping their stuff out?
Will be a little while on mine, had to order it for them and unsure how long it will take to get in. Hope they like used tennis balls, cause we've got 2 dozen coming in for them
9.
I don't have a budget. I'll spend whatever it takes to build a good one
change user name to TGO David Trump
10. There's not that big of a funding gap because of electric cars. 1 person out of 10 thousand may have one... the reduction in fuel tax profits is because the cars are getting 35 or 40 mpg now instead of 15 mpg. If they want to raise revenue, they should just force the car makers to lower their efficiency
11.
Yeah, what is up with NOT carrying the mag inserted? Is that a carry law in Washington?
If it was in her purse and her child was with her, she probably didn't want to risk it getting a hold of something with a round chambered.
12.
I second that. Tigerdirect is great. I got a 72" DLP 3D 1080P for $800 delivered about a year ago (still running great). I also buy a lot of computers there. I use monoprice.com for all the cables, mounts and connections. posted from my phone
That's what we need! How is the DLP brightness compared to an lcd in your house?
13.
This looks like it might be legitimate: http://www.blackfriday.fm/deals/tvs It has the deal from Walmart you talked about. Good luck with the crowds.
TY, I was looking at the bfads.net site and it wasn't able to show everything at once.
14. This is the best part:
After the man ran away, she sent her dog, a Norwegian Buhund Hound, after him, police said. The dog cornered him, and when she called the dog back, the man disappeared into the darkness.
I would say that he was more scared of the owner than a 15" tall play dog.
15. We'll ask him again what he thinks of firearms for self defense if his house gets broken into and he's beaten to a pulp and robbed of all his things.
16. Wife wants to upgrade the big tv and we've been looking around at some of the stuff going on black friday but wanted to know if you all are seeing anything extra. We've got a 47" and would like to move up to a 60"+ but will take as small as a 55" as long as it's a really good deal. So far we've found the Walmart 60" LED Vizio for $688 - we have all Vizio tv's, and love them but not sure if I can physically deal with the idiots at walmart for a doorbuster. Just also ran through the Best Buy ad, and they also sent out an email this morning with a Insignia 55" LCD for $599 starting tomorrow morning (not really familiar with the brand though). Does anyone have the scoop on any larger tv's over the next two weeks(other than what's in the bf ads? As long as it is 55"+ and has 1080p, we don't care about it being lcd, led, dlp or plasma.- Also would like to keep it under $1000, but will go over if it's too good to pass up.
17. The lot tried to get my wife to sign one and her having the law background she started quizzing them on why it was necessary. After running in circles the salesman said it was a voluntary document and she bought the car without signing anything. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 This year was the first time I've seen them as well, guess they're using them to get the buyers to waive more of their rights.
18. http://news.bostonherald.com/news/national/midwest/view/20121116cops_man_plotted_attack_during_twilight_movie/srvc=home&position=recent
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A southwest Missouri man accused of plotting to shoot up a movie theater during the new "Twilight" film was charged Friday after his mother contacted police, telling them she worried her son had purchased weapons similar to those used during the fatal Colorado theater shooting. Blaec Lammers, 20, of Bolivar, is charged with first-degree assault, making a terroristic threat and armed criminal action. He was jailed in Polk County on $500,000 bond. "Thankfully we had a responsible family member or we might have had a different outcome," Bolivar Police Chief Steve Hamilton told The Associated Press. He said Lammers is under a doctor’s care for mental illness, and court documents said he was "off of his medication."

19. Probably be bought by a Chinese company and filled with propylene glycol cream and coated in lead frosting with a radioactive package to seal in the flavor.
20. Those are the best! Grandpa used to keep them in the fridge when we were growing up, they were better than ice cream in the summer
21. Unfortunately the solution is to do things like the Keystone Pipeline and drilling here. If (which I highly doubt) that were to ever happen, it would be entertaining to see how long those countries tried to hold us hostage as 75% of their GDP completely disappeared.
22. The IDF Facebook page keeps everything updated pretty fast, I've been keeping up with it rcently: https://www.facebook.com/idfonline?fref=ts Here's the latest video they posted: - I really like the guy pretending to be carried away from an injury of the IDF attacks, then he is seen walking around a few minutes later. http://youtu.be/MWSuWFbiYGM
23.
I think it's one of Phil's advertisers. Thanks Uncle Phil and Mark Levin are the only ones I listen to, when I can.
Check out Michael Berry on 1510am if you can pick it up, he's on at 5pm
24.
In the Teamsters, my part being the BLET(engineers), the only ones having any control at the national level, are the local chairmen and delegates sent to the national level meetings. There is no telling the international level anything, except when the fools die off or retire. The only input from the little people(the ones paying for everything) is a vote for the international president and VP's(maybe). There is no upward deployment of ideas or demands, otherwise. Not saying there couldn't be if the rank and file had some C O Jones, but that isn't the case. That saying "holding their feet to the fire" has no teeth, other than the fact that a deal was negotiated before any input was spoken to said members. The members were sold a package and allowed to think they held someone's feet to the fire, I would be wiling to bet. I have seen five contracts through my employment and membership and I have never seen anyone hold anyone's feet to the fire, only a lot of rhetoric and chest thumping on the local chairmen's behalf. I'm not calling you a liar, so please don't take it that way. The pre-packaged deal has been part of the "deal" for many years. That's why most big companies have large "labor relations" departments, nowadays. Just the way it is.
We were under AFL-CIO and IAM - it operated as more of a gangplank organization than the normal hierarchy on the lower levels, obviously up top it had a normal structure. Also seen a lot of local officers be removed and replaced because they weren't conducting themselves appropriately. On the other hand, also experienced some of the higher ups creating chaos to justify the need for excessive administration, and that's one of the main reasons why I left it. Guess they're just like any other organization, you have good and bad and it's a flip of the coin on which one you get.
