That's pretty good odds coming from a programmer.

You need to use a validated survey instrument allowing for the collection of ordinal data so we can apply a Spearman's Ro to determine the correlation of variables to get reliable feedback. A simple suggestion requesting more feedback will not suffice for the benefactor room. Keep that pleb stuff in general chat

Why not do something by Royal Range? Hell, maybe we could line something up with their shoot house (not sure how they run it though). But that would be awesome.

I'll be here to pay you 50% market value if you're in a pinch!

Don't have any kids so I've never really looked into it.. A friend has a daughter that is 12, or 19 depending on if you ask her in person or online. He's obviously concerned and asked me for some jack boot level monitoring software to put on her iphone. Don't care if it's paid or free, he wants god-level control of the phone and to monitor what she is doing online. I got him covered on monitoring her computer, but have no clue on what is good for mobile devices. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't be buying a 14 pound chainsaw for delimbing and small tree felling... goodness

Think it's pretty cool and will get more eyes on members' classifieds

LOL " Gunfire — loud, sharp, rude, abrupt — is an important safety feature of any firearm. " https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/opinions/the-nra-wants-to-suppress-one-of-guns-most-important-safety-features/2017/01/22/5a7140fc-dcd7-11e6-ad42-f3375f271c9c_story.html

Hope they get started early, last time I checked, he was about 5 months wait time for one

I can handle some environmental protection measures, but we need to focus on actual pollution (not Co2) and the depletion of natural resources.

His family runs a great company, very few products are still made at the level of quality their presses are.

same, they did a great job on my mp5 -
I'm sort of stuck not doing anything with it until Chapel Hill approves my application. Might go down to royal range and test fire it once or twice though after they get their rifle lanes opened back up.

Picked up this little booger on a trade for that SP5K. Have well under $3k in the deal total and it came with almost $1000 worth of ammo (mostly Barrett factory rounds). It's got the Bushnell 10x package on it from the factory & pelican case.

Jonsered. for delimbing and small fast stuff, you can't beat them because their chain speed is substantially faster. Feels like a lot more power in a lighter package as long as you keep the chain sharp and don't use one of those dumb anti kickback chains (some of them come on the saws now) ***Disclaimer*** I bought a new CARB compliant Jonsered couple of years back to replace an older one and it was not as good (still better than the others though IMHO) so if you can find a non-CARB compliant model, buy it instead. But hell, CARB compliance ruins anything, all the saws may come that way now.

An actual line tech came out today, instead of a modem installer/minimum wage script reader, knew there was something wrong with the line after 5 minutes. Said another connection a few hundred feet down the line was causing interference.

make a gold pistol and throw some plastic bits on it. should be called the "one way you can trash a commemorative pistol" pistol.

It's not in your head, I've got the CORE 9mm, M&P9c both with the same Apex trigger and sear setup, and the out of box full factory 2.0 will outshoot both of them.

I picked up an M&P2.0 for $440 from garbagun a few weeks ago and holy smokes do those changes make a huge difference. There are a few things I was surprised about on it (I'm sure there will be legit online reviews form reputable sources, but here's what I noticed from owning two different model gen 1's and this 2.0 - all in 9mm): when the pistol goes into battery, there is a solid thud. The gun is built properly. Glocks, springfields, M&P gen 1's, they all feel loose compared to the M&P2.0 I mean, it is a solid thud, both from the sound and feel. Factory grips are the best ones I've seen on a composite gun The way the design of the grip is now, when you index during an unholster, even if you don't get a solid grip on it, your palm rotates in and finger slides up on the side never going near the inside of the trigger guard. I have no clue what they did to it, or what the difference is between this and any other gun I own. I drew from both an IWB and OWB about a 100 times total, and almost every single time, my hand just rolled into place even when it was a bad initial draw. Trigger has about a 5 pound break. There is a lot of pretravel, but the reset is short. It's a really good factory trigger. What you actually need though is an M&P9c with an Apex trigger in it... and I can hook you up!

Am hoping someone has a .338 lapua laying around collecting dust and they want an SP5K. Or a .50 DE. Or anything else that is pretty much an unnecessary funmaker. Functional collection is done, need some range toys now.

Comedy gold right here

Get the apex, you won't regret it. The CORE had one and it worked so well I put one on the M&Pc. Picked up an M&P 2.0 a few days ago and one will be going on it as soon as they are out as well. (the flat faced triggers, think the duty/carry trigger kits are already out)

Think someone else used the car analogy. guns are just like any other upgradable item on the market. Manufacturers look at production costs, if it cost the same to put a competition quality trigger pack in an AR as it did to put a "milspec" trigger, every single one of them would do it. In the case of this guy's video, you could counter his claims about "milspec" triggers not needing to be upgraded, by the fact that he had rifles with optics on them instead of iron sights. After all, iron sights have been tried and tested and and proven to be effective on the battlefield and never need to be upgraded, right? People just need more training on iron sights instead of using optics. Just as they ONLY need training with stock triggers instead of upgraded ones.
