1. That's great

sherriffs posse

Word on the street is they're chasing this guy
3. Most of the systems you buy are all the same, made in China stuff with different stickers and logos on the outside of the parts. With that said, I would suggest getting a system from anywhere that has a good return policy so you can set it up and see how it works for a week or two. Actually seeing the system in place and working is the only way to know if it will work for your needs.   <edit> to specifically answer the capture and editing, you won't want any system that can edit the tapes for data integrity reasons in case it is needed for evidence.
4. They were also looking at bumping up everyone from 25mb to 50mb for free pretty soon in most of the coverage areas, we're back down to about 40mb, the only reason ours was so high in Knoxville is because we were less than 500 feet away from a main backbone
5. That's what my wife does, & we just moved from there. If you can't track your guy down just let me know and she can get in touch with any of them in Knoxville. - They can also cut you a better deal than the call center or anything else that's advertised.
6. Nothing wrong with that, we used an MKIII. Cost us $1.98 worth of ammo for my wife and I to qualify, instead of $30
7. To ensure appreciation, send me a duplicate of it and I'll appreciate it  :pleased:
8. Would never have expected that from cnn
9. To give it a bit to be reported if it was stolen right before being sold. Would also give them an opportunity to turn it over to the police without the customer being on-site which could reduce incidents/safety concerns.   We're all just assuming on theoretical possibilities on the processes of a law that doesn't even exist yet, so it's probably going to be a way that none of us even thought about.
10. I would guess that it'll end up going through an FFL, and those FFL's are going to charge more, & hold it for days while they run the numbers (probably gonna be a requirement)... And they would gladly do so because they will see the sale as impacting a transaction on their part.
11. I'm sort of partial to comcast since we get it for free
12. This is a case where the instructor should be able to require additional training before handing over the certificate.
13. Guns are designed to shoot things and it doesn't care if there is a deer, an innocent bystander or a threat on the receiving end of the barrel, it's all the same to the gun. That demands 100% proper handling, 100% of the time. I hope no one on here has ever came close to an ND.
14. Hey that amazon leak had some cool stuff. I really like this: http://www.amazon.com/Fred-Friends-Freeze-Handgun-Shaped-Ice-Cube/dp/B003YUBQKG/ref=pd_sim_k_2
15.
I keep hearing all the 'Sky is Falling' talk, but I have yet to see a legit shortage.
Except for those $28 boxes of 100 round .45's at Wally World; we check at least once a week and they are never in... Now that could be a legit conspiracy.
16. The reason these ammo shortages are happening, is because one person panics and they buy all the ammo. Guy #2 comes in and see they're out so they run to the next store and buy all of it, or they wait until the day the new shipment comes in and buy it all out again etc... It's a vicious cycle
17.
Like on one anti-gun blog where I read this "We will continue to see these tragedies with guns firing until the second amendment is repealed". Uhh, the gun didnt fire, the dad FIRED THE GUN.
Hopefully those same retards get a law pushed through that outlaws breast cancer, cause that is knocking people off left and right.
18.
http://www.youtube.c...&v=xqsTYNdqzMI#!
That guy is not smart in the least little bit!
19. Definitely not blaming the gun in any manner, just saying that the extra step that a safety or decocker adds, could've been the one to save a life. There are two variables that are present 100% of the time during an ND: Round in the chamber Safety was disengaged (or lacking the feature) Mitigating either of those two would keep it from firing. Most of us are not on-duty cops and will not be in a microsecond matters, shoot out with our lives depending on it. My feelings are that flipping a lever in the process of a draw doesn't take any additional time with practice. - I know most people don't agree with this and they want their gun hot so they can fire off the first round in 0.17 seconds instead of 0.18 seconds, it's just personal opinion from my end.
20. If this is the case, it is a perfect example of why I like decockers on my carry. Got that Glock a few months back to start using as a carry, and honestly I just feel better having one with decocker. Don't care about anyone bashing that, cause this is a perfect example of how one could have saved an innocent life. - Not taking away any of the responsibility of the father though, this is still 100% on him.
21.
They said in the video they are giving it back so she can sell it. Dolomite
The one good thing that has came out of gun buyback programs
22. Unfortunate situation, will be curious to see the cause
23. This whole thing is just a complete cluster, even if all the charges are dropped, that guy is going to have to leave the country if he has hopes of ever living a reasonable life.
24. So you're suggesting that having a masters degree in art studies with a speciality in oil canvas between 1453-1455 isn't as useful as someone with 10 years of machining experience?
25. http://news.yahoo.co...-133841213.html Not that I needed a reason, but it will make me feel a bit better knowing I have the option to buy something useful that's made in America again.
