  1.   Yep, and the staff that works there is great too.
  2. Can't remember if I asked before or not but we need to get some equipment fairly soon to avoid taking out a loan to buy a box of .308 ammo. Am leaning more towards a turret press for it being less of a hassle, and it looks like the Lee classic comes recommended around here. Is that pretty much the standard or are there better ones that actually provide the functionality that would justify the higher expense? We don't mind to spend a little bit of $ to get quality equipment up front and not have to replace it a year down the road.   The only thing we will be using it for is mainly .308, some time in the future we may start doing .45's, but not too worried about it right now.
  3. Wanted to start a thread so we had a central place to share any info we come across on this new proposal; trying to find info out on these modifications Feinstein is going to introduce, the exemptions, allowances, what carries over from the '94 law.   If anyone already info, please post it because I haven't been able to find anything yet other than there are a bunch of loopholes closed, expecting magazines over 10 rounds to be restricted and there are 900 weapons specifically exempted.
  4. their FB page says:   Due to the high demand and high number of visits to our website, it is currently down. our engineers are currently working as fast as they can to fix this problem, we appreciate your understanding and continued support   For the DoS attack, I honestly think that the buying rampage is about as bad as an actual DoS attack.
  5. Sent pm, thanks
  6. Bulk ammo has went through the roof in just 48 hours, even the legit businesses are raising their prices
  7. SHould've already ordered that ammo, it's up to $640 now already... dang
  8.     TY, and if he is unemployed and willing to spend his days standing out there, armed or not, anyone want to chip in on something for him? Does he have any kids that go to the school?
  9. Before I say this is awesome of him to do so, I need to make sure it's not a hoax.   https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151380969111613&set=o.26012002239&type=1         Anyone know if this is true or not and where in Nashville this is so we can find out who the guy is?
  10. No way it would be more like,   Off-duty power hungry law enforcement official acts out of rage and commits violent attempted homicide with an automatic arak47glock, putting hundreds of innocent people at risk, instead of politely ask minority religious leader to not infringe on the rights of others with his peace making attention getter.
  11. The bad thing about this is that bushmaster will probably go out of business because of this. That's the exact kind of "evil name" they need to exploit what kind of weapon was being... I've heard his ar-15 called a "Bushmaster" more so than an assault rifle or ar-15.   I wish people were smart enough to unerstand to content instead of context
  12. Heard on the news earlier today that a private school in Texas not only allow teachers with an HCP to carry at the school, that the administrators encourage it.
  13. I hope not, but as with what most others say about when children are involved, things are looked at differently. That's why we fast forwarded our purchase over the weekend and got all the magazines I could find today.
  14. First time I had been in there, if they were that busy all day, they must have one heck of a stockpile in the back... Anyways, thought I would share because a bunch of people are trying to locate magazines
  15. Seen a thread on here and a friend asked today about finding some pmags, outpost has about everything in except the ar10 pmags, cause I just cleaned those out. Employee said today was busier than black Friday, so I wouldn't expect the good stuff to be in much longer. Also went to NA and they looked half-empty, guess it has been a busy day all around Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Just a heads up, on the drive this morning, I heard 3 completely seperate talk shows refer to semi-auto pistols and rifles as "weapons of mass destruction" So it looks like that is going to be this week's angle in the media Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2

    Bushmaster ORC 308

TY, hopefully I can track some down tomorrow locally.
  18. They were pretty quiet on Friday, but when I went back Saturday, it was a completely different story. This time I believe the language was blatant enough that people understand something is about to come down the pipes... We now just sit and wait to see how restrictive it is going to be.

    Bushmaster ORC 308

Anyone know off hand if any ar10 mags will work in this or does it take a certain type? I was looking at the 20 round pmags, but can't seem to find a list anywhere stating what will work in this specific model.
  20. I predict the gun stores will see a 100% increase in sales starting tomorrow
  21.   That's what I was waiting on

    Bushmaster ORC 308

oh snap, they have scopes with rangefinders and calculate ballistics?   That is a done deal! don't care how much it costs
  23. Thanks Chip, covered a lot of aspects I was not aware of and learned a lot
  24. 'doh missed that part.   Can we insinuate on this? Maybe there was some hanky panky going on, cause it is a bit strange how someone's hand and someone else's butt was shot with the same round
