You're at work, two guys walk in wearing black balaclavas (they were), wearing body armor (they were) with go pro mounted and another one videoing (they were), wearing a side arm (they were) and carrying a loaded rifle at the ready position on their front (they were), and you would just sit there and mind them no attention? I can assure you there are very few places those guys would not have been shot, they're lucky they found one of those places. What happens when someone barges into a restaurant wielding a machete in their hand and you're sitting nearby with your family at the table. I'd bet the cost of that meal that you wouldn't just sit there and continue eating, you're going to protect your family. Even though it's legal to walk around with a machete in your hand. Those officers are doing what we would do, protecting themselves and their family.

Bah comcast... never make a change to your plan. So they told me free install, then charged me $60 for it. I called and had them review the tape where the guy told me it was free install, they did and then credited my account $20 (WTF?). Called in today to get a prorated discount since the 1gig was down for about 10 days. Even though it was never turned on full speed, they said they can only prorate it from the time I called in, even though the technician put in a ticket the same day and said it wasn't working right (WTF?). Obviously getting angry, I asked them to pull the initial sales call and listen to it because I wasn't accepting a partial refund. They did, and guess what *poof* the recording was no longer in their system. I said ok no problem, all of my calls are recorded, where can I email you a copy of the audio? They wouldn't accept it... At that point I was done with them and said ok you got a 30 day money back guarantee on upgrades, I want to roll back to my old plan and cancel this gigabit stuff. She actually told me "you agreed to a 3 year term on your call with the salesman" I was like you lying piece of crap, you just told me there was no audio of the call, now you're saying you have audio of me agreeing to a contract on that same call that doesn't exist. W T F Go ahead and run this call up to your boss because I don't deal with liars. Anyways, after 90 minutes on the phone and dealing with a plethora of people that shouldn't be allowed to consume air without paying a tax, all my stuff was rolled back to the 300meg 110/month plan. Now that they have fixed the line issues, I've got a 30mb upload with my old stuff, so I'm good to go! Can't wait to see what kind of sorcery is coming on the next bill though. I need a four 40' of cat 6 pulled through two interior walls with access from the attic (terminated on quadplates at both ends - but I can do that part). Both runs are on the same floor, but the problem is the rafters and getting above the spot on the wall I need the boxes at. I tried, artificial hip and bad knee told me it wasn't happening. Hired a commercial electric company to come out since it was just pulling cable, he drilled one hole to start pulling the cable and said "I'm too fat to fit where you want these run" and turn around and walked out. The attic is huge, just the manipulation of rafters above the walls is what is a pain. So anyways, any of you guys that do that stuff on here and want to make some $, or work in the field and can suggest a company? Have already come to the conclusion it's going to probably cost commercial price to get it done, but I need it done to upgrade some security stuff.

I googled .50 deer kill just out of curiosity. This is just stupid, nearly a complete waste. Although, there are some videos of BMG'ing nuisance animals and that I'm ok with.

As cool as hunting sounds with it, I couldn't do it, because anything short of an actual elephant and it would just destroy the animal.. nothing left to consume/use But, I bet if you popped a nice sized deer with it on a frontal shot, it would probably field dress it in the same spot it went down, which would save some time.

Yeah that actually takes skill. I've shot a total of 2 rounds from this thing... think I may need a few hundred rounds and lots of instruction.

Was attempting to be considerate, went and picked it up from the gunsmith before they started getting busy and there were only two people shooting. Would not have bothered everyone if they had a full range. Even doubled up on ears, it was still fairly loud.

The accuracy of that gun was insane for being a large caliber. (It had obviously been sighted in previously). On the silhouette the organs had outlines, lungs were about 1" apart. First time ever shooting it, dead center mass and the rips of the paper didn't even touch the organ outline - that's putting a 1/2" bullet in a 1" hole @ 60 yards. Wanted to see how the concussion was as a spectator, and let some random guy shoot a round (he seemed to be interested in the gun), he keyholed my shot on the first round. I knew they were accurate, but for two separate people to pick up an unfamiliar gun and keyhole shots on their first round is unbelievable. LOL is about all you can say about this ridiculous thing.

Just test fired a couple of rounds at the range. All I can say is LOL
