http://www.examiner.com/article/mom-shoots-intruder-5-times Ok, so it says that she hit him with 5 shots in the face and neck then the intruder ran away to call 911. WTH kind of superman can take 5 shots of anything in the face and walk away? Can we confirm if he was high on "Bath [As]saults" or something? <sorry, couldn't resist the pun>

Without me jumping down the rabbit hole, I will say that about 10 years ago.. or something like that, I read some declassified documents from the Cuban missile crisis and they were proposals to fake the hijacking of a commercial jet in FL and blame it on Cuba to get the public to rally around an attack on them. Bunch of spooky people were involved, but they were real documents and not some cheesy photoshops and blog posts from a secret laboratory on the planet Zondar.

This was the toy before my bike accident; cobalt ss w/ turbo swap 369whp @ 26psi & still got over 40mpg cruising at 80mph :) FWD + this much power = completely useless, it would do a rolling burnout at 50mph just by pressing the gas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTOTxwMWsS4 Unfortunately it had a 2400 pound clutch and was impossible to drive when my left leg got broken so we traded it in :( <edit> trying to find some pics, but no idea where they are now, may have already deleted them, but it just looked like a bone stock SS

He had to sell it to a foreign company cause not a single person in the country has seen, nor thinks it's worth $100mil lol.

Let me be the first reporter to say that: The shooter used an AR-AK 62 Bushmaster Assault Rifle Glock WMD With Combat Style Flash Supressor(s), pistol grip(s), barrel shroud(s) and possessed 400 round military grade high capacity magazines with chemical filled Geneva convention sanctioned NATO rounds.

Ordered the wrong ones for the wife ( These only work on the Stratosphere I, not the II ). It's 1 pink case and 1 clear case. If anyone can use them let me know and I'll get 'em to you.

So Tony Hawk was on TV acting as if one of his kids were killed in the shooting? That site contains by far the dumbest tin foilie story I have ever heard, If it was the case and a huge IF, everyone with an IQ of 37 or above would've thought that using a very well known public figure was a bad idea to use in a hoodoo conspiracy.

Interesting concept, Ann said (in short) that if they want to post a map of gun owners, then someone should post a map of every woman who has had an abortion, because if they were willing to murder their own unborn baby, do you think they would care what happened to your children? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/04/ann-coulter-guns-women-abortions-mothers-murder-child_n_2408584.html That's pretty brash, but is in the same line of thinking that caused the posting of the permit holders.

IL introducing all out ban and confiscation legislation tomorrow
Sam1 replied to Sam1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
IL was pulled, but now NY is pushing one through and requiring registration of EVERY gun, no matter the type. Biden also stated today that POTUS will have "sweeping legislation" implemented by the end of the month. -

<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="LagerHead" data-cid="875096" data-time="1357223617">
More regulation is not the answer. He knew the rules. He broke the rules. That's just the way it is. One of the many reasons businesses and their rules are so screwed up today is the over-regulation of them.

Because nobody is forcing him to work there. My company has a no guns policy both in the building and in their parking areas. I don't like it but I feel the financial incentives they offer me are good enough that I work here anyway. If I got fired for breaking that policy it would be nobody's fault but my own and I would have zero reason to bitch about it, regardless of the reason or my intentions when breaking the rule.

Sometimes regulations are a good thing. Like those pesky ones that restrict Chinese companies from selling baby formula here that was made from dried antifreeze and flavored with strichnine. Nothing ever works perfectly, just like the good samaritan legislation in the first place. If that wasn't in place, someone would be able to hold you accountable for a broken finger during a scuffle if you intervened during a rape.... That is just as stupid as being adminstratively punished for saving a life. -
I never use anyone's WiFi because it takes about 30 seconds for someone to intercept your data, and a skilled person could be in your system a short time after.

exactly, and even a wooden stock could be considered a "shroud" for an assault weapon with their definition. Bad News, they took two previously made bills one about sex crimes and one about nuclear stuff, gutted them and filled them with this legislation trying to ram it through. And they just said it passed through committee a little while ago with a 6-3 vote with an amendment that makes it even more strict. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/01/robert-farago/breaking-illinois-modern-firearms-ban-and-mag-cap-bills-pass-out-of-committee/#comments -
Whew I hope this don't go through! http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/01/robert-farago/breaking-illinois-modern-firearms-ban-and-mag-registration-bills-revealed/ Page 7-8 here: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Illinois-gun-ban-bill-1263.pdf Says that: Then goes on to say that even an attachment will be illegal. I hope to God this isn't what we can expect to see elsewhere and that there's enough politicians with common sense up there to throw this thing out tomorrow!

TN needs to implement a provision under the good Samaritan law that protects idividuals from reprisal from their employer if they act in defense of life. Maybe something like that is the way to go? -
Not very long if some of the pro pump shotgun shooters can make theirs sound like an uzi

'Journal News' hires armed security guards

This is some funny stuff! And the best part of all is that they probably received 100,000+ messages, she tried to scrounge up one as a threat and report it to the police and they told her it wasn't a valid one. If every notification/email was non-threatening, good for the gun community!
