  1. Oh snap, wrist mounted sling shots are criminal possession in the fourth degree starting March lol! Or better yet, if you possess a sandbag (yes I know it's different, but it doesn't specify) hahaha! The same violation as if you're a felon and caught possessing a firearm.   This gets better the more I read it         <edit looks like they even banned stun guns.... Man I feel sorry for the law abiding people in that state!>
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6XdCGP6xEAo   Am impressed
  3. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/01/17/thieves-steal-guns-after-breaking-into-another-home-listed-on-ny-newspapers-gun-map/   It's going to happen again, and again and again and have a bad feeling people are going to start getting hurt or killed in the process. I just hope no one innocent is hurt.
  4. TX is looking like the place to be more and more. My favorite part "You'll also get to keep more of what you earn and use some of that extra money to buy more ammo" https://apps.facebook.com/336273509819725/
  5. Good thing she said they are working on commonsense legislation cause that means none of the gun grabbers will be able to contribute
  6. An m1a2 sep Abrams tank :)
  7. http://ypdcrime.com/penal.law/article265.htm#p265.04   Looks like they are considering airsoft/pellet pistols (aka imitation pistols) as "dangerous instruments" now. Can one of the legal people skim over that and tell me if this is the case?
  8. Ok thanks for the info everyone.
  9. It saves them a lot of money, and reduces headache from having to call someone that barely speaks coherent English
  10. He signed executive actions, not executive orders... They're different things
  11.   The law was so poorly written that it actually is illegal for an on-duty cop to possess more than 7 rounds at the moment. they have to modify the law
  12. Yeah, there's no possible way he would've ever tried to push through 20+ EO's in one day. Maybe 2 or 3, but not 20 and these weren't written in the past few days, they've been in some filing cabinet just waiting
  13. iphone 5's cost $190 to make; people buy them on a 2 year contract for $199 and sell them for $600+. Not a single person is bitching about that, and it's exactly why I stopped complaining about the gouging as well. I seemed to only worry about the items that directly affected me, and that was a bit hypocritical.
  14. As far as a gun show sale between private parties, what's the usual process? I usually have sold to family/close friends before so I'd do up a bill of sale and that's it.   Do you all do one of those and jot down the DL or HCP #, or photocopy it? I need some kind of record to CYA, but not sure what the norm is.
  15. That was pretty good, and with expected results
  16. Should set up a filter to block CTD links here, screw them.
  17. This guy... Not sure what we're gonna do about him, he opened up a twitter account and this was his first tweet         Political statement in straight forward english? DANGER Will Robinson DANGER, Does not compute!!!
  18. Great! Costs us almost nothing and got more firepower roaming around.
  19.   Yep, anyone important has our phone numbers
  20. as stated in the chatroom earlier   "[don't worry] it's just the nsa installing some code on TGO"
  21. If you hang out on capitol hill, there are a mass of undercovers you never even seen walking around . Last visit in 2009 iirc, we were leaving the Rayburn building and someone left a backpack on a bench in front of SCOTUS. Not sure when they noticed it, but not even 30 seconds after we heard yelling, there were at least 2 dozen armed people in suits with police coming up behind clearing the grounds. Less than 5 minutes into it, they already had their bomb squad on-site.   That place is like a military base in the middle of a warzone and rightfully so
  22.   It will not happen, because I check, check again and make sure a third time. Glad no one was injured
  23.   My guess is that it was a legit man that probably headed for the hills literally when he heard gunshots going off, and with all the conspiracy theories, if you were that guy, would you really want anyone to know your name? My guess is probably not.   There are a lot of issues with the story, but I think people are focusing too much on some random aspect that is probably a moot pont.
  24. Just heard on the news that Walmart is offering to hire 100k vets that has been discharged in good standing within the past year, possibly the best thing I've heard from that company's employment practices.   http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/01/15/us-walmart-veteranhiring-idUSBRE90E05N20130115
