The non-Bloomberg NRA Poll AKA: The Real NRA Poll

lol red! 95 to 3 -
Spent less than $100 with them, but my question would be - how the heck do you pay anything on it if we don't file tax returns in the state? I'm not worried about it, it just seems like a futile effort to ask individuals to pay on something when they don't do any paperwork in the first place.

I think we should ban shooting victims, then there would be no need for gun control.

He's not worried the least about an election. If there was any senator that could run a $5 campaign budget against 1,000 opponents with a $10mil budget and still win, it's McConnell. My guess is that he's going to be helping get the dems out of senate and regain control, his own position isn't even a concern.

Leon Panetta lifts ban on women in combat.
Sam1 replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Submarine and other duties where there are a group of people is a completely different story with the sexual accusations. When you've got 3 or 4 people in a group segregated for weeks at a time, that's when it turns into an issue. -

If they do not lower the standards then I am all for it. Have seen a few women that could outdo men at anything physical, and if they can pass the same standards then i'd say go for it. The problem is that when they start lowering the standards to "meet the quota" that will be imposed, that the male counterparts are going to have to pick up the weight. Health issues are another one, as a tanker we went a few times 4-5 weeks without no water to shower with. Hygienically, a woman could not be stuffed inside the turret of a tank for 4 weeks with no water to wash. And then you bring in the issue of sexual accusations, so now every tanker in the military is going to have to have another 40 hours of training per year on sensitivity, or possibly have to have 2 people awake when in the presence of a female for guard (when now it's 1 per tank). It's not going to be a good situation because of how the standards will be lowered. -
Federal Assault Weapons Ban: Proposed this Thursday
Sam1 replied to Sam1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
And it's exactly why everyone needs to start contacting people instead of taking a lazy stance thinking that it just won't go through. We already learned a lesson about how when people just stay at home and don't take action in a zero sum event, and that the absence of their vote equals a vote for the opposing team. -
I don't think it's a cause at all (if you read my posts defending the gruesome media in Japan), but it does help to show how we have an issue and we don't know for sure what causes it.

Knoxville Police Looking at New Pistols
Sam1 replied to Moped's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Honestly with ballistics, you can get .45's with a crap ton of penetration if that's what you need. My wife is about 110 pounds soaking wet in winter clothes and she can do follow up shots much faster and more accurately with a 45 than with the sig. the sigs have a lot of snap to them -

There's a reason it's been around so long and kept its popularity. -

http://money.cnn.com/2013/01/22/technology/groupon-gun/index.html?section=money_latest They've cancelled deals offered on training classes, you know.. the types of things that help people become responsible and educated gun owners. Will never spend another dime with them.

Instead of the ammo, send his ass a bus ticket to TN or TX where he no longer has to worry about that crap.
-
holy jesus that is terrible. And this is exactly why the story needs to be spread and is being hidden by the media: Hopefully the NRA people get ahold of that tidbit
-
I'm just messing with you guys, it was down on me too  Sorry, just need a good laugh after that speech today

Police being deprived of ammo. If you didn't feel uneasy enough.
