  1.     Magpul has already stated that their operational structure will allow them to move out of state, they said it's not what they want to do, but will.   As far as the company/employees thinking we are turning on them, why should we fight any legislation then? Based on your proposal, we should continue to pump billions of dollars into these state economies that are doing everything in their power to destroy exactly what we stand for. That's a completely ludicrous action on our part, and I submit to you, it is EXACTLY like the US sending fighter jets and battle tanks to people who have sworn the complete destruction of us and our allies.   I for one, won't support either of those causes.
  2.   I think that over analysis has been running wild throughout this entire situation, it's not a plan to have us turn on any of the companies. They, as always, do not think any decisions out more than a step or two. My guess is that most of those politicians passing the laws didn't even know who Magpul was, much less that the factory was in their own state.   We as consumers have a choice to drive the market in ways that we want, that is capitalism. I don't think anyone wants to boycott Magpul, but if they stay in a state that supports state imposed restrictions, then why should anyone out of the state buy from them? All they're doing is pumping $100mil into an economy that despises them and us.
  3. We moved from out of state to Knoxville in 2010, and absolutely loved it, it's like big town stuff to do with small town people and very little traffic. Transferred to Nashville last year for my wife's school and do not like it here at all. Davidson county has too many taxes, people are rude and there is horrendous levels of traffic... My 10 minute commute can easily take 1 hour in afternoon rush hour. Anyways, I would recommend something closer to Knoxville over cookeville, it's a great place to live.
  4. They already said that they were afraid of a boycott if they stayed in Colorado, I think that unless this bill fails, that magpul is out
  5.   nope cause they wouldn't give the reward money to the Dr. that helped get OBL... He even ended up in prison didn't he?
  6. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/02/foghorn/cheaperthandirt-vows-to-not-sell-modern-rifles-to-leos-of-states-where-weapons-are-prohibited/ http://gunssavelives.net/blog/cheaper-than-dirt-donates-100000-to-second-amendment-foundation/# I guess the boycott that CTD caused on themselves, hurt a lot worse than they thought for them to donate $100k out of the blue to SAF. I still won't spend another penny with them, because this just reinforces they are going back and forth... They continue to be exploitive of whichever ways the wind is blowing. You can tell by the verbiage that they are afraid to stand up for themselves, by using LaRue & Olympic in their own media releases.
  7.   This specific one has been around since about 2004    They were called tweels if i recall correctly
  8. I hope it passes, Magpul leaves, they lose $100mil in revenue annually and they bring their business to TN.   Only thing is, we're behind the power curve on out of state business pirating, Texas is attacking that from all angles and across the country
  9. They've named a storm "Stupid"?
  10. I don't think it's a good idea because the population density just isn't great enough to sustain a niche service like this. Computers and broadband are dirt cheap now, plus with all of these businesses/schools offering free wifi, I really think it would be a lost cause. Plus with the risk of people doing some unauthorized stuff from your systems, you could be held accountable, and even if LE deems the liability not yours, imagine what would happen if the newspapers and local websites read "Acme PC cafe investigated for child pornography downloading", that would shut the doors in a blue second.   The reason these thrive in other countries is because of low income, people can't afford the broadband or decent computer... It is definitely not the case here
  11. Nancy Reagan needs to come out and do a PSA on Saying "Nope to Dope Burgling"
  12.   The first sentence on the post says "Nashville Tennessean and Hendersonville Star news will not post our ad because we listed ARs in our ad." It appeared that you were sharing the info on how the newspaper refused to list the advertisement.
  13. Ok, so according to this guy we just need to give up our guns because the news media outlets will protect us from tyranny?
  14. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/02/robert-farago/midway-no-leo-mag-and-ammo-sales-where-civilian-bans-apply/       Looks like the snowball has started!
  15.   look a bit closer, you can see the thug shoot the door after the guard fires one through the wall. They were well beyond being a threat.
  16. It had nothing to do with a reward, the thug had murdered multiple cops and had been involved in multiple shoot outs, those cops could have given less than .05% of a damn about that reward being disbursed
  17. the ammo manufacturers should give them exactly what they want then and refuse to sell ammo to any of them for any reason.
  18. TY for the knife surfabilly!
  19.   Serious consideration will be made when that time comes, to send them to my in-laws in the Philippines to go to school. Not only do they actually learn stuff, this kind of BS doesn't exist there
  20. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=f31_1360643310   Would be interested to know how far away this is happening at, that's some freaky stuff
  21. After Gannett pulled that stunt posting the gun owner map, I wouldn't read a Tennessean if they had a free box of ammo inside each one instead of coupons.
  22.   Our cellphones no longer use cables for charging, so his cabling across America will be short lived lol.
  23. Here's who we went with:  http://www.destinsnorkel.com/   And this has zero to do with fishing, I'm not even sure if they have fishing trips it's just to get out and relax. The guides were extremely nice, and we stayed out almost an hour longer than expected just because the weather was nice and the guides were enjoying it too. It was the best "socializing" time we had while down there.   Oh and another thing to consider, was that someone down there has those ironman jetpacks you can fly around on, due to my injuries at the time, we weren't able to try them out, but they sure looked cool floating around in the bay. Am not sure if this is the same company, but here's a link to one of the companies there: http://www.powerupwatersports.com/
  24.   I personally think they should've called a caterer to bring hotdogs and marshmallows.
