  2. fan on a laptop won't run all the time, they usually only turn on when temps hit a certain level to save battery power   <edit> sorry misread your post - if it is always on, it could be running slow. Smell near the fan and if it smells like bandaids then something electronic in there is shot for sure.
  3. If he was buying it as a gift, that is allowed.  But it also opens up the door of why would he buy a used one with a 20 day waiting period instead of buying a new one and leaving with it asap.    It seems pretty stupid if you're proving a point of how easy it is to acquire a gun then having to wait 3 weeks to take possession of it.
  4. Prosecute them down to every singular shell casing.
  5. Depending on the computer age, it may show the fan speed right in the bios
  6. In 15 years of doing this, I've never seen a computer that needed the thermal paste replaced.
  7. Here's the real reason why he didn't take possession of the gun:

  9.   Funny, we were just thinking about replacing our 3 year old mac's today with some newer models... But then realized they still run like brand new so we can spend the $ on more important things like pizza and beer
  10. Oh well, guess that's what he gets for living in IL. Maybe he'll motivate enough people to get off their asses and to the polls next time
  11. He was having a trigger job and something else done to it.   That idiot was not paying for a trigger job, then turning it over to the cops... He just got caught
  12.   Would more intelligence be that he wore a diaper to the store so he didn't need to make a pit stop on the way? Like Lisa Nowak did a few years back?
  13. My guess is that NASCAR will tell him to put on the hat and go stand in the corner. He doesn't understand that 99.98% of their fans own multiple guns and love the NRA/GOA/2AF
  14.   That's what I was thinking too, think it's funny as hell it happened. I'd like to see him come out and explain why he was able to buy a gun, but not leave the store with it
  15. Norton should block itself from doing anything lol... but that's on Breitbart, no malware on the site.
  16. After testifying about how no one needs one of these, he went out and bought one. Then gets caught in the deal and says "it was only for demonstrating how easy it is to get one". And that he is going to turn the gun over to police when it arrives.   First thing I noticed is that if he was trying to buy a used gun and he was not allowed to leave the store with the gun, then it seems like it wasn't that easy. Secondly, if this was a stunt to show how easy it was, not only was it a terrible idea, it failed miserably and back-fired    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/03/09/Gabby-Giffords-Husband-Buys-AR-15-Announces-He-s-Not-Keeping-It-After-News-Leaks-Out
  17.   Yep and there's no way that woman will admit to any infidelity now, because she will come out on the backend as the bad person in the situation.
  18.   Modified to accept more would be nothing more than an extension screwed on the end. Don't most shotguns allow for that?
  19. So they claim it was a "casual" relationship, but the guy was at another man's house, having wine with his wife? hmmm

  21. Hinesville GA is the worst for that, the cops are like stalkers on military folk. I got almost a $300 ticket because a cop said my stereo was up too loud while driving down the road (not at a top light, but actually on a rural road). It was a 1988 s10 with a factory radio, think it only had 2 speakers and wouldn't go that loud anyways.   The city brought in the majority of their money by writing soldiers and their families tickets. What we didn't understand back then, is that if we would'v stood up and actually voted, 3/4 of that area was related to the military in some manner and they could've throw those jesters out on their ass and put someone in office that was reasonable... If we would've just went and voted
  22. That's great man! you learn a lot when you're teaching others, so you'll come out of this on the top too.
  23. Will be interested to hear how it escalated, if there was some adultery gong on, I doubt we'll be seeing too much sympathy.
  24. doesn't say it bans all pump shotguns, but as the article says, if you can fit eight 1-3/4" shells in one, then they are illegal. Says the writer can fit 10 shells in his stock 870 shotty
  25.   he wants you to use a double barreled shotgun, not a pump. Cause all you need is two rounds. having 3 rounds and up creates a national security hazard
