Looks good, and you can't do that with a Glock! ... oh wait, you could
  2. It's cheaper, just stick with that
  3. They always cash fast, but I think with the administration change, we will be seeing faster processing after they get through the enormous rush from June '16
  4. Because 9mm doesn't have enough "knock down power"
  5. If you get a mod 2, you will be excommunicated from the forum, unless you sand off or stipple the "Grip Zone" off the handle.
  6. That may be what it is then, nothing else makes sense.
  7. Have you noticed any changes in indexing on the drawstroke? Think I posted it somewhere else as well, but I can draw the 1, and the 2.0 from the same holster, and when you grab the 2.0 your hand rotates around for a perfect index every single time. The 1 requires an occasional re-index or slight adjustment after it's in the workspace/shooting box. No clue what is different, when you lay them side by side, the frames visually appear to be identical.
  8. form 4 submitted mid-May, was just approved on 2/27.
  9. or lying on the form.
  10. Hook a brother up with $30,000 so they can buy a Timney then No clue on why they are quieter other than the basic assumption that you don't have a gas port venting part of the explosion.
  11. Yep, they don't go pew pew pew, it's more like foo foo foo
  12. When picking up the can today, was filling out the 4473 on the computer and this is the first time I have seen it actually advertised... Assumed it was the rule, but looks like they are making it official now:
  13. Got out of stamp purgatory and topped off the MP5. It's complete with nothing else to add.... Finally
  14. picked up one as well, out of the box it outshoots the 5" M&P CORE (unless you are considering buying the one I have for sale, then it does not).
  15. For $3000 you can get a custom, built from scratch double stack 1911 in whatever caliber you want from Calhoun Firearms to the point at which he sits you down and goes over every aspect of the gun to figure out what you want/need. I'll take that over a wilson combat any day of the week. You can slap a corvette emblem on a camaro, but it doesn't make the camaro worth as much as the corvette.
  16. Yeah, I said I wanted one, until the MSRP was seen. $2900... No thanks, you can get a custom, built from STI 2011 blanks, gun from Calhoun for that much money.
  17. First off, good for you for coming to your senses and moving to TN. I'm a bit out west of Nashville (don't like the traffic or the taxes). Here's the advice everyone gets: 1) don't live in Davidson county, taxes are literally double what they are in surrounding counties 2) North of Nashville is booming/getting crowded 3) South of Nashville is where all the money is Brentwood/Franklin - so you will pay more to live there. 4) Southeast to East is turning into little Tijuana 5) East to Northeast is an alright place to live 6) West is still pretty awesome for the time being, but people are starting to slowly creep out this way, it's the most rural part of the region that you can drive into Nashville daily and not have to travel an hour 7) Stay the F*** away from Memphis, that is the TN version of Mogadishu, we tried to give the city to Alabama, but they wouldn't even take it 8) If you're coming from a liberal state, stop by one of the decontamination stations at the state line and wash that crap off 9) Williamson county (where I'm at) supposedly has the best school systems in the state, and one of the better ones in the country. No clue though, I just pay taxes for other people's kids to go there 10) We like to shoot a lot down here, if you need assistance with creative ways to hide money from the spouse to stockpile an arsenal, just ask - the forum is filled with experts 11) Anything you need help with, no matter what it is, can be fixed with a TGO meeting if you supply the booze and BBQ
  18. Put it up there with saving private ryan, very well done.
  19. Seen on their facebook page they are giving a free women's self-defense course 6-9pm because of the recent attacks that have happened in Davidson Co. @Royal Range USA continues to impress at every turn.

  20. They're $119 <edit> Actually only $106 shipped from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00SMX95IA/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all I wouldn't spend $200 on a rimfire scope either.
  21. it's a .223, thing isn't good past 100 yards or anything larger than a squirrel anyways.
  22. This one: http://shop.opticsplanet.com/nikon-prostaff-rimfire-3-9x40-matte-bdc-riflescope.html?_iv_code=NI-RS-16329&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=plusbox-beta&gclid=CjwKEAiA3NTFBRDKheuO6IG43VQSJAA74F7786_bA-of8p0fBqfE7XQyyPFjity3v-FsLopSlCmuaxoCdbTw_wcB You may be able to find it elsewhere cheaper. Glass is Nikon quality, and you can use their ballistics calculator if you drop it on any other caliber. My buddy runs these on 22-250's and .223's perfectly. http://spoton.nikonsportoptics.com/spoton/spoton.html#:6
  23. Seems legit. j/k it's for the new .50, that hasn't come in yet.
  24. yes, it is real. happens to me all the time. sometimes I'll sell something, and within a week or two I'll have to track down an identical model to replace it with.
  25. Wasn't worried at all, a 5.56 slaps that arm around pretty hard. Like Johnny said, it would not have happened with AR500, or anything that potentially could have caused a ricochet.
