    Best Mailbox Ever!

I'd like to see more of that thing, it looks pretty cool!
  2. anything that has "infowars" on it has become so tainted from the sheer stupidity that at this point it wouldn't matter if it is a relevant matter or not.     This is nothing more than a ploy to drum up $ and support for doing something outlandish and then turn around and say "LOOK LOOK the military industrialized complex is stopping us from doing something LOOK LOOK; PS buy silver and gold from our sponsors and send me a donation".   Such a load of malarky and worse than those wannabe investigative reporters/youtube freedom fighters that go around and stir up shit on purpose just to have a video to post.   Screw the whole lot of 'em
  3.   And expects it to be done on the tax payers' dime of course
  4. Awesome man! Be safe
  5.   Yep, I used to use a $12,000 one at my last workplace.  Could mow the football field, baseball field and soccer field in 45 minutes at what seemed like 20mph    Hell, they got multiple engines on some of their mowers now, basically making them to the point where you could mow down a rock quarry and create granite counter tops.
  6.   Let's ask the guy that bought 8 of them off me for about $1000
  7. dude that is way to big for a push mower!   Also, the guy at the mower shop I went to said that the zero turns with the steering wheel work much better for people that cut on hills because it has 4 wheel steering.  May want to just stop by a local place and tell them what you got, they can give you better advice than us
  8.   Weedeater, get whatever is in the price range you want to spend.  People can say brand abc is better than xyz, but as with any small engine equipment you will either have a lot of trouble out of it or no trouble out of it, there's usually no middle ground.  I bought an $89 troybilt few weeks ago, came with an edger, bought a hedge clipper and chainsaw attachment and have been burning up the use on it.  All of those attachments and the weedeater cost less than a lot of people spend on a weedeater itself.   As for the mower, same deal.  Most brands use cross-platform parts so you want the one that does the job you need it to and not pay too much attention to the sticker on the front that says brand abc.  We got a Cub Cadet RZT 50" (after returning a Husqvarna 48" tractor) and that thing took my mow time on 1.5 acres from 2.5 hours down to 1.1 hours.  Only reason we got the cub mower was because it was a new, 2012 model marked down lower than any other 50" I'd seen.     *also to add in, on the security system we found a local place to install a fully automated system; digital dead bolts (we can even lock/unlock from our cellphones), garage door sensors/openers/closers from the phone as well enough sensors and whatnot to cover the premises for a bit over $2000, and that included us paying for 3 years of monitoring up front so we got zero bills until 2016.  If you talk to someone local, offer to pay up front for long monitoring service and they will cut you a deal on the rest cause they make most of their money on the monitoring itself.
  9. This one isn't too big of a space, just a tv room, bathroom and laundry room.  I think a 9000btu would be more than enough since there's only two small vents there now and it takes care of the entire area.   Mainly it's to have zone control, so if we're stuck watching movies for hours down there, we don't have to heat/cool the entire 1st floor just to get the basement comfortable.
  10. Oh that is epic
  11. Thanks, will give him a ring Monday
  12.   The merkava is a fantastic death dealing machine, I actually like it more than the M1 (that I operated for 6 years).  Coolest thing about the merk is that it not only has the same canon as we used, it also has a 60mm mortar + carry additional 4 (iirc) troops in the back during an emergency.  Other thing I like is that the .50 is mounted above the gun tube so the gunner can use it on the m1 the commander has control over the .50 and that secondary turret failed all the time. Then the gunner had a 7.62 on coax for troops, which I guess it's ok in a sense, but my theory would be that you wanted the largest amount of firepower on the turret controls because of stability and being more accurate for long range.
  13. Looking to possibly get a ductless mini system installed in our basement and close off the vents being piped in from our main floor hvac.  If any of you all do this/licensed, please shoot me a pm.  We have a quote from another company, but would like to support the locals on here if reasonably possible.  Location is in Fairview

    New PharmD

congrats man ...  discount tylenol for everyone!
  15. normally they just go after people though, correct?  This is the first one I've seen where they went specifically after munitions only
  16. Looks like it has begun   http://news.yahoo.com/u-believes-israel-conducted-airstrike-syria-cnn-001333448.html
  17. Condolences man, and don't stress about the stuff here, it's just the internet!
  18. I think everyone here hit it right on the head, ebay has manipulated the fee structure so that people have trouble making money from it on a regular basis.  If someone sells a random thing or two on there, they usually don't mind paying the fees occasionally, but it is hard to make any worthwhile profit on a regular basis from there anymore.   The other major problem is how much they have been integrated with paypal now, because of idiots making frivolous complaints I've had my entire paypal account frozen before; even though the complaint was over a $50 or whatever, they locked up a couple thousand$ until they did an "investigation" which usually meant they just gave the customer their money back and they kept the product too.   Honestly I think the only reason sellers still use ebay is because they're the only viable option right now.
  19. Nah, might get something for the wife in the future cause they're a wee bit easier to use over the ar10's for her :P
  20.     I've got 2000 rounds of .223 and don't even have a gun to use it in :D
  21. Nah, the fees hurt everyone because now you are competing with straw man businesses set up in China to sell a few hundred items at a time, and when they are shut down, they already have other accounts up and running.  If you have a niche following, it may be worthwhile but remember that even though the items you have may sell for more, it may cost more money to relist due to them not selling fast. same stuff as running a normal business.
  22. about 8 years ago I was doing it on a smaller scale, few items were sold directly to people but most of it was drop shipped. Made a few hunded extra $ profits per month with just a quick 5 or 10 minute login daily to make sure it was being processed, but then eBay and paypal got crazy with charging outrageous fees for everything so I just quit doing it.  There are so many variables that go into it, there's no way we could answer any questions that aren't already available on the ebay boards, and ebay themselves does the best job of explaining how things work.   Wish I would've just spent that time doing other things instead of dealing with that mess from the get go.
  23.     I look at things (for the most part) from a practicality standing; what do you actually need and not what you want.  If you actually need certain specifications, then the cost will be irrelevant.
  24. My suggestion is that you buy whatever you can find at a reasonable price.
  25. As Spots said, they are full force out to do policing for profit there as far as modified cars go.  Some of the people on the car forums I frequent said it is so bad if you own anything that doesn't look like a completely stock vehicle, that they have left the state.   Pull them over, look for CARB stickers, paperwork from installations, any unauthorized mods, any serial #s removed all right on the side of the road... just looking for a reason to impound their vehicle.
