  1.   There's a website that is publishing all of the court docs online, according to the actual files, TM may have hid and tried to ambush GZ.  Obviously that would never be published in the media though cause it goes against their cause.
  2.     We don't know what the evidence is.  Here's the way I see it, the incident happened in February and they didn't arrest GZ until weeks later and only after there was a big media blow-up.   How many people have you seen that was involved in a shooting, taken in immediately, the evidence (in your words) didn't backup Z's claim and was released?  I'm not an LEO or anything, but would tend to think that if you had someone involved in a fatal shooting and they were in custody, they would not be released if the evidence didn't match up with the story.   Unfortunately I believe GZ has become a fall guy for the media sensationalists.
  3.     Same here, we just bought a chevy cruze couple weeks back and it was pretty brutal for a while.  I was able to keep them occupied long enough that they didn't run a carfax on the jaguar, nor did they notice the temporary clearing of the CEL from the bad catalytic convertors or the trans leak. Suckers gave me full trade-in for it and $1000 under value for the one we bought
  4. It's impossible to use a generality of oils A, B and C last 5000 miles when heat is what breaks down the oil.  Great example of this, when at the road courses on my motorcycle (any of them), I had to change the oil after every race.  That was a max of 75-100 miles, oil was black and about like water when it came out sometimes.   Was able to go 10k+ on amsoil in the turbo cobalt, but if it was the summer or a lot of city driving, it got cut in half. I also use straight weights in the summer, they're better than using the multiple viscosities. 30w during the spring/summer in everything, fall/winter get 5-30 or whatever they call for in the manual.
  5. @ r_bert They say they don't know, management told me in front of the officer that they didn't know who it was or when they moved in and that someone else in the office may know. Even though they're charging someone rent for it   Last weekend I raised hell because they had taken our boxes out of this garage and garage #2, then they left this garage open and changed the garage opener code on #2 so I couldn't get in, I found out from a guy standing in front of it that they said it was his garage.   So between last Friday and today after that entire episode, they went ahead and rented out garage #1 to someone else but didn't know who it was or when they moved in, and didn't change the opener code, and this is what started today's episode.   The only way it could've got worse is if the door opened and we found a dead hooker inside.
  6. There was 6 or so on the front pile, 4 on the second pile and 5 on the pile in the back, and 5 or 6 laying on the shelves with a couple in gun cases. Just imagine if this was your place and someone else had a key to it... Or even worse, if I would've accidentally hit the remote button and that door stayed open as people walked by and just grabbed whatever they wanted... We don't want any kind of compensation for this situation, we just have to figure out what/who we can file a complaint so they can be held accountable and make sure it never happens again. I think it ay go to the division of consumer affairs according to the TN AG's website, but uncertain. Tomorrow I'm going back though and trying to find out who has the garage, the manager couldn't even tell the police who the stuff belongs to.
  7. Anything outside of Nashville and Memphis is about the same in TN lol
  8. Yep Dave, we had been renting the garages for almost a year and their defense was " it wasn't in our records". They're just trying to do damage control right now cause they had leased out the same property twice and didn't think they would get caught since we were already moved out. We just needed the police for documentation of everything going on. What set me off was knowing that could've been my stuff that someone else had access to. Am going to get in contact with the current occupant so they know we were in there today so he can decide on how to address that with management
  9. Tanker, it's somebodies stuff cause they have all kinds of hunting/fishing gear in it too. Don't think the owner cares too much about them cause they are literally in a pile. Will post some pics when I get home
  10. If they belonged to management I'd gladly accept, but they probably belong to some poor guy who had no idea on the shenanigans this place is pulling.
  11. Found out that our apartment complex rented out our garages to other people while we're still the lease holders. Going through some crap over that, but anyways... Come back today to turn over the keys and do a walk through, and one of our garages has someone moved in, and left 2 piles of rifles just laying there and it's still in our name! Waiting on police to come now cause the seetiashun just went beyond my tolerance level.
  12. Good story and very well written article.
  13. Dyson's work better and no one comes to your house peddling them.
  14. Just wanted to share a good reference, wife won a 47" 3d LED and we figured might as well get it wall mounted. Did a couple of calls for pricing and I always play dumb to see if the business will be honest with me, 3 out of the 5 I spoke with just straight lied to me and the other two seemed to be upfront and knew what they were talking about. Couple of guys have a small business called theater leaders ( www.theaterleaders.com ) out of Franklin. Price was right at everyone else, but the guys were very nice, didn't try to BS us and were very professional, down to making sure every last flake of dust was cleaned up. They put in an extra outlet behind the tv, installed two wall plates for the hdmi's, ran the coax from about 10' away (even had to go under a door), optical and power feeds for the soundbar through the wall, wall mounted surge box etc... all in just about 2 hours. Not the cheapest, but they also didn't have to do anything that would result in additional repair work either so it was a pretty good deal. Pic of the work: And yes, that is Judge Judy
  15. That last one looks it's trying to start something up
  16. Downtown Nashville the storm rolled in really fast and the wind was blowing so hard it started shooting up the side of this building and disrupting the clouds.
  17.   That alone is worth paying more for!
  18. Should've throat punched that guy with a stock.
  19. Mr. Stegall, heard this on the radio earlier and couldn't make up my mind one way or another..  Since you work in the field, do you have access to any statistics that would show how many people in TN (or any state) are arrested for whatever reason (road blocks, accidents etc...) with an alcohol content over .08, and those who are between .05-.079?   I'm not sure that is the proper way to say it, am just looking for some metrics that would justify the changes.   It just sounds like another way to generate revenue more than producing additional safety buffers.  And no one should take me as one that likes drunks on the road cause I'll call the cops on anyone, including family members - my grandma was killed by a drunk driver.
  20. Same here, my wife's Benz was draining the battery dead overnight and it was isolated to the issue to the seat control modules... Shop wanted between $700-900 to fix. After some research, I was able to fix it by snipping one wire and putting a vampire tap on, took 10 minutes and 50 cent worth of parts.
  21. Lester, you're going overboard with the "what if".  Using that line of thinking, you should just ban existence in Alabama because someone is operating the 3d printer, someone had to have made it etc... the only way to stop it would be for nothing to exist at all; no people, no things.   The people that put these policies into place are voted into office, or go to the polls and the public votes on the items directly.  If you want your opinion to be put into law, have to do a better job of getting votes for people support your same ideas, and get more people to show up at the polls.
  22. Article was funny, they said rivals envy msnbc. Last time I seen the num ers, they were running about 50% of the viewers that reruns were getting on other networks lol
  23.   They realize it, and they are going to make an example out of the people involved just to show everyone what happens; or they will introduce some new legislation to control the information on the internet even more.   The creators should've used some common sense on this one, nothing good will come from it at all.
  24. Knew this one was going to be a bad idea, my guess is people will end up in jail just to prove a point
