Love the updates, has the relevant info and i don't have to check throughout the day from the usual news sources.   One question for you, do you think the state is going to focus on the emotional aspect and try to get a verdict based on that instead of evidence?  It didn't seem from your update that they really had any substantive purpose during the opening statement.

  I don't think there's any hostility towards the guy in here.  Personally I said it was crap that an insurance company would get involved and make him wear a tether if he didn't want to wear one.  We're a free country, and if the guy is dumb enough to do this with no safety gear, then by God and with credit to our founding fathers, he should be allowed to.   There's very little risk involved while wearing a tether so there's no excitement.  It would be the same as him rope walking in his back yard 5' off the ground, but with better scenery.

I don't see the first thing in profiling race there, what I see is someone sounding like they're pissed off because thieves had been burglarizing and getting away with it. It would be an assumption, but I could see any person on this forum using that vocabulary during a call for help. Need to be clear that the intent of people and the media here are using the term profiling in the context of racial targeting and NOT profiling based on actions.

I'd be interested to know the specifics surrounding the issue cause water supplies are a pretty serious issue.  Here in Fairview the water was tested and below standards so the .gov forced the Fairview water district to shut down and sent everything to the Dickson water authority.   Could be bad water, but there are tests that can be done and get the EPA involved.  But again, I don't know if they've exhausted those routes and are stuck between a rock and a hard place or if they're just raising cain and it could even be some really old houses with crappy plumbing and residue from that.
