Adam Kokesh loads shotgun in D.C.'s Freedom Plaza
Sam1 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
Parkies cover it, basically just about anywhere large enough that a group of people can gather for a protest, is considered a park area there. -
Need to stock up on some MRE's, can anyone point me in the direction of the best deals? I just need a few cases. This is just for a power outage/severe weather or whatever comes about, so I don't want some massive food stores, just enough to last 2 people 2 weeks or so.

The Blaze said that capitol police are now investigating him for that stupidity... Guess he showed them! -
These are more than the metal film esd farady bags we use for electronics; those won't block signals

Murfreesboro DUI Checkpoint Video Making its Way Across the Web
Sam1 replied to wewoapsiak's topic in General Chat
That is 100% my problem with this group going out and stirring up shit, then coming back and arguing about their rights. There are enough legit topics to focus energy on, but halfof these loonbags are simply instigating problems because they feel the need to to express their personal opinions. As Americans we are free, but that doesn't mean that we should go out in public and do a diesel fuel enema to turn ourselves in to human Roman candles just to argue with the fire department for putting out the flames and infringing on our rights. -

The dog scratching up his car for one, a neighbor of ours had a similar situation happen in his new Mercedes. He didn't have anything obviously, and refused a search for a speeding ticket, they brought the dog, did over $1000 in paint damage to his car and it took him almost a year of suing the county to make them pay for it. -
Yes they should work the same. The bags I use have an internal metal filament (specifically copper), and dual magnet seals on the openings so there's no way anything is getting inside of them... Wouldn't mind to test one out with the microwave, but I hate to ruin a perfectly good bag.

All of mine look similar to this one: Some are vertical, some horizontal, some you can connect together to make in custom shapes etc... But I'm expecting that since the NSA story broke that there are going to be a lot of "designer" bags released in the near future.

Figured I'd share since some around here are very particular on being monitored (and with recent news stories - although the technology is not new). In forensics, we use Faraday bags to put electronics in to keep them from communicating with any other device once they are in our possession. Anyways, you can get these things on ebay for just a few bucks, drop your phone in, close up and it instantly kills all signals to the phone. Can't be tracked while it is inside, however if you plan on leaving it in there for long periods of time, turn it on airplane mode or it will run your battery down trying to search for a signal. Why I would use this over turning off the radios? Putting your phone in airplane mode doesn't stop all monitoring functions & turning off most phones, don't actually turn them off. The only way to know for certain your phone is out of commission is to put them in a Faraday container or remove the battery. Here's a link to a few - they all mostly do the same thing, just in different colors and shapes. There's a bit more to these than the static bags most preppers use, the material to block the signal is usually very specific to the bands you want to block. A static bag protects from electricity only http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=signal+block&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR1.TRC0.A0.Xsignal+blocker.TRS0&_nkw=signal+blocker&_sacat=0

Wow glad my cards never picked up on that! I had almost $8000 cleared up after my wreck cause I was in the hospital for more than 14 days. Heck, the company even offered it to me cause I never knew I was signed up for it. -
Probably 32k plus a $79 administrative fee

We also vote for the people that can change those things too. I just think it's really a shame that we are the greatest nation on the planet and we waste so many resources talking about how terrible things are and that they need to change yet we only have a 57% turnout on one of the most important elections we had ever seen in our lifetime. But then again, raising voter turn out is much harder than creating and profiteering from entertainment pieces discussing the fallout, partially related to the lack of voting. And we as humans tend to take the path of least resistance.

People have been crying wolf way too long for me to be concerned any longer. We have the best system in the world for changing the direction of the country, and it starts by voting... not with videos explaining how the militarized industrial complex has ruined the world and plans on global domination.

For those who want to save 13 minutes of their life: It's a summary video of the major conspiracy theory principles Oh, and buy gold

It's no different than a bait car, or the TSP advertising there will be DUI checkpoints on the radio/newspaper and then not having them.

lol ^ we were in Brentwood, paying more for a 2 bedroom rental than a three level house on a nice piece of property... Maybe it's not that the people can't afford Brentwood, it's that we wised up and stopped excessively wasting our money ;) But we are surrounded by farms as well, not in a subdivision so all of our neighbors have been here for 20+ years and some their entire lives so it's a close-knit community.

We have free roadside & replacement car via Chevy until 2016, paying extra to get long haul towing until then would be a waste of $ for us.

Love dogs, but that thing started to go after the cop.. You can clearly see them try to get the leash of the dog, then it got violent and they put it down. This one shouldn't even be a news story, and what the guy was doing to get cuffed is irrelevant cause that dog could have just as easily been going after a kid instead of the cop and them having no way to defend themselves.
