Eh not so sure I like that, he states in the document:          First statement is self-explanatory; second statement is contradicted by Massad Ayoob - which I would give credit to being the number 1 guy in the country on ballistics.  I think this guy from the article believes that most hollow points are lighter because they have a hole in them or something.

I don't think many people here mind others being critical of abusive police, but it gets annoying when anytime someone gets put on the ground with any more force than it takes to lay a puppy down, they yell out police abuse, and how we are becoming a police state and the police are becoming militarized and they are secretly stockpiling food at the fema camps and are buying armored vehicles to use against innocent citizens.   It's the same stuff every time, we've heard people crying wolf for so long that when a legit incident occurs, all you will see is people being critical of the situation because they are so tired of hearing it.

Has been a pretty rainy summer this year, but if it wasn't raining we'd be complaining about it being too dry.  Just think, in 16 weeks we'll be complaining about the snow.

Another new one out is republic wireless, $19/month for unlimited calls, texts and data on Sprint towers.  You can only have one type of smartphone that runs on 3g, and have to get it from them, but hell for $20 you can't complain.

  When I went over a cliff in '11, there was an off-duty paramedic on his bike 30 seconds behind that seen me crash.  He stopped and was sort of the first one on the scene, except for some random dude that flipped the 300 pound motorcycle off of me himself before the paramedic could get down the rocks 60 feet or so to me.  When he got to the bottom the first thing he asked was where that guy went to.  He was just gone, still to this day have no idea how anyone could've scaled down that cliff to me that fast.   So, between wrecking right in front of a paramedic, that dude that got the bike off me and living through it... I have to say with all respect, you're completely wrong on this one.  Reason I don't speak of that part of my wreck very often is because I'm not a terribly religious person, and I'm still to this day trying to put some logical explanation on the situation but I just can't.

Well the first thing that comes to mind, it's some no name moron that is trying to get attention by choosing a date like that.  If it was a legit organization they would not choose that specific date.   Whole thing is almost as stupid as that idiot that took a shotgun to DC to "teach the government a lesson"

  Too many people seen the same thing for it to be a story, and if it was just a random stranger I hope he stays quite and doesn't come forward - it will give the people involved something to believe in.

Would agree on the beer, but their food has went down hill over the past couple of years. We used to eat lunch there at least once a week, but stopped a while back.

  That is my assumption too, they broke the law by not reading up on it and are leaving that part of the plea for $ out of the story.

What are the specific charges?  It sounds a bit fishy that first the tannerite started a fire and second they received multiple felony charges for using a legal product on private land.   I guess it is possible, but most of CA is under a red flag warning and that would fall under federal jurisdiction if they used tannerite then... but it still doesn't make sense without knowing both sides of the story.  CA themselves could've also banned binary target use during a burn ban/red flag warning and that could be the reason, but the story on that website just seems like it's leaving a lot of information out.

    I guess if it was already pressurized and was a smaller cabin, but we can throw hypotheticals at it all day and not really accomplish anything.  The news is making it sound like people can detonate a sub-atomic explosion on a street corner in a tank top and flip flops.

What days will you be here?  A lot of people overlook the free Thursday night concerts at dave & busters and some of those have been pretty kick ass this year
