  1.   They will probably be musical form letters playing that old meatloaf song lyrics "I will do anything for love votes, but I won't do that".  Then a second pages will explain things in detail that Lamar has voted for that are completely irrelevant to your inquiry.
  2. right on point there hozzie.  That's sort of like going to a chevy dealer and threatening a salesman that you're about to go down the road and buy a ford.
  3. and drug tests   http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2013/09/18/community-service-for-welfare/2834157/
  4.   speaking of non-essential programs... check this out:  http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2013/09/18/community-service-for-welfare/2834157/
  5. This is what I use: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182196 Just pop the drive in and it takes off, but I do a lot of data recovery so it has to be something a bit more stationary than just an adapter.
  6. meh, think I'll wait until the gen 2 or gen 3 products to come out... will let everyone else test this one out
  7.   would rather have fiber for the low latency, not the bandwidth.  Surfing the web at 1Gb is really no faster than 10Mb.  Would be great for downloading movies in a few seconds though.
  8. I agree with him 100%; raising the debt ceiling DOES NOT increase the debt.  However, maxing out the credit card right after your limit is increased does.   So, if raising the debt ceiling does not increase the debt, then we should be fine at the level we are currently at because there are apparently no plans to go over the current limit?  Sounds like this whole thing is a non-issue then.
  9. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/09/19/BREITBART-NEWS-Challenger-Joe-Carr-Blasts-Lamar-Alexander-s-Refusal-to-Join-Ted-Cruz-and-Defund-Obamacare   Let the game begin
  10.   If you regulate a business by mandating they abide by all stipulations of the constitution and do not allow them the freedoms to exist as their own entity, you have effectively implemented a socialist environment.    The constitution was not designed to regulate business, it was designed to regulate the government.
  11.   Didn't say it was any good, just that they had it.  We went there once and honestly I think it was lower quality than golden corral.
  12. Good thing I seen this before infowars got it or I wouldn't have even believed the insinuation.
  13.   The second amendment doesn't apply to a business, just like the first amendment doesn't apply here on the forum.  If the mods decide to delete something, don't waste your breath on arguing how it violates your constitutional rights because they don't really exist here; just as they don't exist inside of Starbucks.
  14. Place at the Dickson/I40 ramp, they've got frog, gator and a few other things on the buffet
  15. Then you would have people show up wearing racially offensive shirts, posting videos online and arguing with you about their freedom of speech.
  16. Wow I haven't heard about this one in almost 20 years, had no clue it was still going on.
  17. I agree with tgo david's breakdown; don't think Starbucks cares about guns at all, I think they are concerned about the idiots going in and asking for verification, then sitting on their porches and arguing the law when police show up. Bad publicity for the business
  18. There is a MAJOR difference between people exercising a right, and instigating. When they do pre-incident interviews on film and have a dozen cameras rolling while they continue to push the issue, that is instigating. We don't lose rights because people use common sense, we lose them because morons see how far they can push the limits of them.
  19. Yeah, those fucking morons "exercising their rights" really taught everyone a lesson here. This is the kind crap that makes me against those YouTube freedom fighters.
  20.   He is one of the most scholarly political analysts that you will ever hear from.
  21.     Whole thing is upsetting and the only person I know there is Trevor from the board here.  only a few of them will be able to find jobs and the holidays are right around the corner.  Hope something changes for them real quick like.
  22.   That was the other thing, it looked like they were under a threat or something with all of the LEO's there.  Pretty brutal situation imho
  23. Had an appointment today down at the hospital and there was a bunch of people walking around with boxes and crying.  Asked the receptionist what was going on and she said that Vandy had laid off a couple hundred people today, and there was supposed to be more cuts coming.   Searched around and didn't see this anywhere on the news, anyone know more about what is going on up there?  It's not over the ACA kicking in is it?
  24.   Saul also plays in a comedy show, but don't think that will last too long now that his show got the green light on AMC.  Just hope we don't have to wait too long for it
  25. I could see them doing that if it was something significant or of a historical value, but they would've been better served going to Sam's Club and getting a free pretzel on their way out.   So much hoopla about that site, it's sort of a self-sustaining prophecy... It's like the Kim Kardashian of religious buildings
