free cellphones and plans for signing up on obamacare in TN
Sam1 replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
Not part of the tracking thing at all... Obamacare was being implemented because the evil insurance companies were making a profit. Now two days into obamacare, there is so much money being made that the government can afford to get people cellphones and plans that will top $1000 a year? Hope everyone that sat at home on election day in this country gets the biggest whiff of this royal screwing. -
http://dailycaller.com/2013/10/02/obamacare-phones-offered-to-health-insurance-buyers/ New cellphone, unlimited calling and texting and 1.2 gb of data plan for getting on obamacare here in TN. Blood boiling in 3...2...1...go

Oh it does go down that much for the illegals using ER treatments only. The problem is, they're not going to paythe ssubsidized bill, just like they didn't pay the ER bills, and we get to help them out now since it's not fair. -
On a side note, that principle needs to be fired for not having the balls to stand up to a couple of obvious idiots.

Multiple "Beat Lamar" signs are popping up around our neighborhood. Looks like word is starting to spread

Holy shit have our health insurance plans changed! Just checked our '14 changes and the plan costs are not too much higher but copays have skyrocketed. Surgeon copay has went up 200% by itself... Gonna have to actually read the benefits guide this year. -
trees struck by lightning will burn just as good as anything else. not sure where that one comes from

Have you had many dealings with them? They have never tuned in to anyone in the state except their careers, so there is no fear of them tuning you out. They care solely about getting reelected, letting them know that is at risk is the only way to get them to even blink.
-
You are giving them too much credit. The letter should be something shorter like: Why do you not vote the way we want you to? Either stop voting for your careers, or you will soon be searching for a new one.

Pellet stove, not cheaper in any way! We put one in for my Grandma because she could no longer move the wood around and it ended up costing us a fortune. She used up about 2 pallets of pellets per year and had a fairly small house, can't remember what they cost, but am thinking it was about $200/pallet in the summer, and $250/pallet in the winter. On top of that, she still had a $100/ electric bill for running heaters in the back of the house. Wood would be best if you don't mind the work, but if you want no extra work, why not throw in a propane fireplace? We have one in this new house and the small thing heats up about 2000 sq/ft. We ran it more than the central air March and April and only used up 30 pounds or gallons, whatever they measure it in. Ended up only costing about $75 for that to get topped off last month.

This guy has that one beat: Wagner is one of a few people doing this, but the really cool one is Rep. Gary Peters who said he will take his check and donate it to charity while everyone is furloughed. Many of the ones asking to not be paid are just doing it for show because they know they have to be paid no matter what, their request isn't valid in any way.

Watch that video, part of the way in, some loonbag is talking about how the furloughs impact the street beggars through trickle down economics because people aren't coming in to work. I cannot fathom how someone would believe that is a reasonable point for an argument. -
If I was on this list I would be pi$$ed

This is the same thing all civilians go through when they worry about getting laid off. Obviously it sucks, but it's just something that has to be planned for... A shutdown has been threatened every year for the past 4 years. -
This is the situation we can now use for arguing on why people need 100 round drums on their rifles!

Please do, tell him/her to read the OPM website, everything is covered there. Actually, will save you the trouble: Essential and non-essential depend on the classification of the position; basically a GS-0083 (LEO) desk jockey may be considered non-essential when his friend at the same unit, another GS-0083 (LEO) that does patrol work would be considered essential and required to work. You can see they're two completely different things; hiring authorities and specific position classifications due to duties. -
As a rider, I'm usually against anyone hitting a bike... But I am also well aware of the dog mentality that a pack of people like that have. The bike brake checked him, then I'm sure he blamed the SUV driver and commenced to threaten, then the rest of his retarded biker buddies smelled blood and jumped in. I would've done the same thing, except when they started chasing me, I would've called 911 then locked up the SUV causing them all to wreck, then start heading to a police station. Nothing more than gang activity going on here because of a bunch of punks that want to get together and cause traffic problems in the city. I'm glad to know that they have now been banned from having the event any longer.

Kong, it's not excepted or non-excepted. That label is used for a different description/categorization. Essential/non-essential is like the difference between a fire fighter and the maintenance man that works on the fire house. -
It was a terrible plan a few months back, but that was also before he came up with the idea. At least that's the version of history I remember.

They can get around this just by putting the "this not to treat, diagnose or cure any disease" disclaimer in the user agreement. Same thing the snake oil companies put on their magic pill bottles.

Karl rove. Did he just kick the Tea Party out?
Sam1 replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The same Rove that raised a billion dollars in '12 for that PAC, ended up wrong on every level and instead of admitting it like Krauthammer, he disappeared from tv for a few weeks hoping everyone would just forget? -
Was probably just Remington ammo, sounds legit.

If it does what you need it to, everything else is irrelevant.

No clue on the brand, but if you're by discount tires, they're the best around. We only use them now.
