The guy that recorded the video is in deep now too. He told investigators that the video stopped because the battery ran out, but it sounds like he tried to delete part of it. Guess he didn't figure they would come and confiscate his stuff. Hope he gets ramrodded too.

We shouldn't be subsidizing a penny of anything, but the thing about this is how they are marketing free phone services with fucking healthcare.

  Tax payers are subsidizing the plans for these people.  Doesn't matter if they are in group A, B or C.  We are paying for part of their plan, which is paying for them to get a free phone and plan.  It should be illegal for these companies to do this... What's next, do we start giving them free computers and internet access too and use the excuse that they may need to log online and check their medical records?  We'll be subsidizing that by the end of the year if this is acceptable.   The only way that the people themselves are paying for those phones is if they do not meet any of the subsidy requirements, and my guess is that very few of those people are actually worried about getting a phone with their healthcare.

  Sure it is a safety thing, as I say every time, how many people do you know that have an AD/ND that wake up in the morning and say "Hey, I'm gonna drop my gun today and watch it fire off". It happens because of two things, a round in the chamber and something hitting the trigger.  If you can't pull the trigger because of a safety, you've fixed the problem.  If you hit the trigger and there's no round in the chamber, nothing happens.   Not going to defend this retard that shot himself, but having a safety on or doing an Israeli carry would've have just saved him a whole lot of trouble.  We're not police doing a felony stop with our guns holstered, if you're in a situation that hits you so fast you can't flip a safety off, you're already screwed because you won't have time to draw.

It was either a gun with no safety on or he was the unluckiest man alive. We can all agree he suffers from a lack of intelligence, but these types of incidents is why I won't carry a round chmbered unless there's an external safety.
