  1. Very isolated area was affected, my wife is Filipina and most of her family still lives there. Not even 1% of the islands got hit.
  2. If you really want to go out to a tropical place visit the Philippines (no worries almost everyone speaks english there), plane costs are about the same as Hawaii, costs once you get there are about 10-15% of what Hawaii costs. last time we were there, he had a two story penthouse on a white sand beach, free food, 2 free massages in the room for $80/day. other time we went, we were in a suite with about a 50 foot long glass wall overlooking the ocean, jacuzzi in the middle of the room, step out the door onto the roof and you were just a few feet away from the pool... for $50/night Scuba trips, $80/person gear included. personal driver with a car $35-$40/day dinner at 4-5 star restaurants about $20/person Have no clue why anyone still visits that state as much as everything costs..No way anyone could tell this place from the "mystical" Hawaii... except our bank accounts here's how clear the water is in some of the places, that's about 30-40 feet down and you could see the fish swimming near the bottom:
  3. Buyer Beware, Pringles Bacon flavored chips taste absolutely nothing like bacon... Do not even try them out of curiosity as it may taint your primal urges to try other bacon flavored foods in the future.   Also that weird taste continues to linger hours later when you burp and just want to forget you ever heard of these things.

    XP Updates?

the updates still work but there will be no more future updates.  anything from previous times will still work
  5. Overstock.com doing something new, two points for them!  https://pets.overstock.com/   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kj13_kqTU9g
  6. It's only a matter of time before HS educations are accredited like colleges, that way they can squeeze out the home schooling AND religious schools.
  7. We stopped by the tower last year and surprised he didn't whack a lot more people than he did... it's like a big fish bowl out there in front of it, only a couple of exits and that tower has a great view of all of them.
  8.   They won't always publish changes, and keeping fiche up to date or service manuals is a nightmare. From personal experience, the companies will normally put the changes in the newly released schematics, but not any inserts for old ones unless they go to a dealer that pays for updates.
  9. you can pawn gift cards?
  10. yeah not sure on the pictures part, but it doesn't look like he's putting up too much of a fight if that's what the claims are, you can see one of the cops behind him looking like nothing is going on.  Looks like a pissed off cop to me choking someone out and that's about it.
  11. Without knowing the entire story behind everything going on, nor caring to, I personally started feeling like his posts were going towards "everything I say is right, and if you disagree, you're wrong" kind of thing.   As far as knowing the specifics of whatever happened, this is a privately owned board and I don't think we have a right to know anything that happens on the backend.
  12. Are those all new relays or did you just replace the one that was suspected to be bad?   <edit> after looking at the parts fiche for that I see what you mean now, that relay with the 12 gauge wires says it's supposed to be on a 4 way connector to a terminal, and not a relay.   I would get on the Harley forums somewhere and ask clarification on that because I'm not familiar enough with those to know what the deal is with it.  Sometimes on the Honda's the wiring can be updated from a factory change and they never do a good job of distributing the publication changes.
  13. Pretty much what TDR says, plus a lot of companies give them out to their employees as awards, local schools and PD's FD's have raffles etc... My wife has had a few gift cards worth a good amount that we ebay'd because they were to stores we had never stepped in before.
  14.   That's cause the ITT degrees are a joke, made a mistake and my first degree was from there... Needless to say when I started my BS and MS degrees, being severely underprepared is an understatement.  ITT is essentially a vocational school that charges what top universities charge, compare that to places like WGU that uses a pass/fail system and their courses are based strictly on industry certifications and you'll understand why people don't respect anything coming out of ITT.   WGU is an awesome but hard school, they're great for people that already have certifications too because they translate into course credits and dramatically cut down on required hours, plus you have a bunch of certifications and a regionally accredited degree when finished.   There is honestly not a single good thing I could say about my ITT experience... not a single one.
  15. As for the A+ study material, you need a minimum of two books - that goes for any certification.  Every book covers different material so you really need two books on the same subject, but from different publishers.   This was an expensive lesson I learned years ago when getting my MCSE.   IMHO, A+ is worthless, it expires now so I will never have it again.  The exam is still managed by 60 year old people that do not understand that computers now use expendable internals.  They tried to expand it into more specific areas, but that was a terrible attempt to compete with Microsoft's MTA and others... Anything for the comptia people to make money I guess.  Out of A+ (x2), Net+ (x2), Security+, Server+, Project+, MCP, MCSE and working on my third degree now I have realized that.... I should've just been a doctor and made the real money.   so take my advice with a grain of salt
  16. Don't think that will work too well, changing the trigger pull resistance by 200% is going to result in a lot of missed shots.
  17.     It's satire brother!  just like this one:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9S75Rfva9O8

    World of tanks

Keep trying, whatever the case is they always have exceptions come up unexpectedly.  Depending on if it requires a waiver or not, you may want to talk to a different recruiter... if for example you would need like two waivers for whatever, sometimes that office or group may not have or want to use two of them on one person, but that doesn't mean there's not someone out there that will.   This country needs more determined people in there without regard to their flaws, cause they are the ones that will work harder just to prove a point.
  20.   No mention of assault rifles in the 911 call.
  21. wow that place is cheap, we may start checking them out instead cause the fairview vet here costs us about $100+ every time we walk in the door.

  24. Not sure if a repost or not, first time I've seen it:    ****LANGUAGE WARNING!!!****   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtRb4qEpWRg
  25. Am curious how old the caller was, sounds to me like he needs a good lesson in humility and should spend every weeknight and 12 hours a day on the weekends cleaning the police and fire station bathrooms for a few years.
